Dex Callahan and Alicia Wright were first introduced in ‘Unrequited.’ Alicia was trying to bury the pain of seeing Hunter, the love of her life, prepare to marry someone else. Dex had plenty of darkness in his past, and was desperate to find a way to fill the void. When the two met by chance, Dex was like a whirlwind, sweeping in to awaken things in Alicia that she didn’t even know were missing from her well-ordered but lonely life. But Alicia wasn’t ready for Dex, and ran when their night of passion threatened her idea of how things should be.

Fast forward two months. As Hunter’s wedding becomes a reality that Alicia can’t deny, she is desperate to find a way to numb the pain. When she ran from Dex, he’d given her his phone number and told her to call if she ever wanted him to show her just how great things could be between them. She does call, and they agree to one week together, no strings, before they go their separate ways. Only, things never go just as planned, and both Dex and Alicia find themselves involved in something much deeper than they’d anticipated.

Oh, my goodness, for the love of all things holy, I am so in love with ‘Uninhibited’ that I just don’t know what to do with myself. After reading and loving ‘Unrequited,’ I couldn’t wait for ‘Uninhibited’ so that I could see how things unfolded for Dex and Alicia. I mean, the chemistry between these two was off the charts hot, and I was interested to see whether that level of heat could last. Well, I am still fanning myself from all the scenes between Dex (oh, Dex, I am still drooling) and Alicia, so mission accomplished. It is impossible not to become deeply invested in the stories that Melody Grace writes. There are always equal parts angst, bliss, and white hot passion. I had every intention of taking my time with ‘Uninhibited’ savoring it like a nice piece of chocolate, going slowly and enjoying each bite. Instead, I gobbled this book down in no time, unable to stop until I’d read the entire book. I am going to be thinking about this one for days, and cannot wait for ‘Unstoppable,’ the next book in the ‘Callahan’ series.
