Silver Creek Series- Book 3
By Maisey Yates
Synopsis
In the latest Silver Creek romance from USA Today bestselling author Maisey Yates, former rodeo star Cade Mitchell may never ride again, but there are still a few things he can do—like care for the woman he loves.
Amber Jameson has always thought of her best friend Cade as an older brother. A really hot older brother. But growing up in foster care, she learned to rely only on herself. As much as she likes stealing glances at Cade’s chiseled jaw and painted-on jeans, she resents the way he swoops in like a superhero to fix things for her.
When former rodeo rival Jim Davis starts harassing Amber to sell her grandfather’s failing ranch, Cade swoops in once again. To send Jim on his way, Cade pretends to be Amber’s boyfriend, moving in to help fix the place up. With her grandfather behind the idea, Amber and Cade have to keep the charade going—whether she likes it or not.
But as their make-believe romance starts to heat up, maybe Cade and Amber will learn to admit that they both could use a little saving…

Tracey’s Review
Going from best friends to lovers never works, does it? I mean, it’s a recipe for disaster, right? Amber Jameson and Cade Mitchell have been best friends since they were 14, providing support for each other through thick and thin, through death and loss and disillusionment. When life changes, and events threaten to upset Amber’s life, Cade steps in to save the day as usual, this time by pretending to be Amber’s live-in boyfriend. Will this be her saving grace, or will it ruin things between them forever?
As I read ‘Unbroken,’ I kept asking myself one question: how in the WORLD had I not read anything else by Maisey Yates?! To say that I absolutely loved this book is an understatement. There is not one thing wrong with ‘Unbroken,’ not even a grammatical error or glitch in the writing. What there is is a great story, fantastic characters with plenty of depth, lots of sizzle, and humor. Oh, my gosh, the humor. I found myself consistently laughing out loud at the interchanges between Amber and Cade, and at their interior dialogues, as well. I loved the back-and-forth between the characters in ‘Unbroken’ so much that I could not even find an excerpt to share, because there are too many to choose from, and would have taken up my entire review. If Maisey is as funny in person as her characters would suggest, she’s one person that I would love to hang out with. And, the love scenes. Can you say HOT? Soooo hot, and made even better, because the relationship between Amber and Cade was such a deep and solid one. Totally swoon-worthy.
I obviously cannot say enough great things about this book. It is a 6-star read for me, and is definitely one of my favorites of 2014, which means that anything Maisey writes gets moved right to the top of my TBR. Get it, read it, love it. You will not be sorry.
