2014 was the first full year that I’ve been serious about writing reviews. I’ve read and reviewed over 220 books; some from my favorite authors and some from debut authors. There were books that I’ll never forget and books that I truly wish I could. But through it all, I’ve come to appreciate the time and effort these authors put forth in writing the stories and the courage it took to make them public.
When looking at several other reviewers’ and bloggers’ lists of their 2014 favorites, I quickly realized that many of their selections were similar whereas mine are quite different. So, while my favorites may not have received the popular vote, I hope you may find something of interest to you.
