Michel’s Review

Wow… Elude was by far the best book in the Eagle Elite series by Rachel Van Dyken.  I absolutely love this dark intense series. Elude was different from the previous books in the series.  It stepped outside the FAMILY and gave each member of the FAMILY a new perspective on life.  It taught them to value life and not be so indifferent to death.  It taught them that being family is more than BLOOD, it’s an emotional investment in each other.  Elude is the most powerful book in the series.  I laughed and I balled my eyes out.  Let me tell you these were ugly tears.  Before you download this book prepare yourself.  Get a box of tissues, a glass of wine, and some comfort food and get ready for Sergio Abandonato’s story.

Throughout the series Sergio has been a prominent character in all of the books.  He is the family’s resident nerd, the clean crew,and the FAMILY betrayer.  At this point in his life he is surprised that Nix or Tex hasn’t put a bullet between his eyes.  He deserves it.  He craves it.  There is one thing that could redeem him in the FAMILY.  This one thing could prove that everything he has done in his miserable life was for the FAMILY.  He is ordered to marry a Russian.  Not just any Russian but an enemy, double agent for both the FBI and Russian Mafia.  It is his responsibility to protect this Russian princess. A Russian princess with an expiration date.  A Russian princess certain to die.  Arabella Anderson Petrov has leukemia.
