Big Rock by Lauren Blakely is a palette cleanser. It is a read that really makes you feel good after reading those dark gritty romances and turn your insides out. It is friends to lovers romance that is laugh out loud funny and also steamy as hell. One of the things I appreciated most about this read is that there were no feelings other than friendship between Charlotte and Spencer before they made their arrangement. There was no pinning or long-lost love or angsty bullshit. They both simply appreciated each others looks. They were both sexy as sin, simple as that. They were buddies that worked together and made each other laugh all the time. When Spencer tells Charlotte what he has done all she can do is laugh. When Charlotte decides to push the envelope she has Spencer is having a “hard” time keeping it in his pants.

“I point at her midsection, then lower. “You’re really not wearing underwear?”
Her eyes sparkle with mischief. “My fiancé told me he prefers me in…” She steps closer, drops a hand to my shoulder, and brings her lips closer to my ear to whisper, “Nothing.”
