The moment Valiant by Bella Jewel went live, I downloaded and devoured the book. I have become addicted to the Joker’s Wrath MC as well as MC Sinners and MC Sinners Next Generation series. Valiant is a next generation story for the Joker MC series and features Mack’s son Jack.

Baylee is on the run from an abusive relationship that ended when he almost took her life. She took his pregnant, teenage sister with her when she ran. She is working two jobs to keep them both alive. She’s living in fear and constantly looking over her shoulder. Rae (the pregnant teenage sister) is a total brat with her abusive mouth, selfish demands, and her battle with drug addiction. A battle that becomes too much to handle. She’s dabbling with drugs once again and Baylee is doing everything in her power to keep Rae’s baby alive. The stress is beyond belief. There is no relief in sight until she reluctantly agrees to a friendship with Jack.

When Baylee met Jack she wasn’t looking for a relationship nor was she looking to make new friends. She’s working her fingers to the bone and struggling to keep Rae on the right path. A charming man like Jack has no business with a broken woman like herself.

Jack sees beyond the broken in Baylee. She’s the first woman who has said no to him. She’s the first woman to resist his charms. She is also the first woman that has really sparked his interest. He sees the wonderful , selfless, caring person that Baylee is. Her beauty is just as stunning on the inside as it is on the outside. He will do anything to convince her to take a chance on him, even if it is only friendship.

Jack and Baylee’s relationship evolves beyond friendship. She admires his close knit family and friends from the Joker’s Wrath MC. She has finally found a place where she can be herself. When her past comes hunting her down, these are the people who have her back unconditionally. In the end Baylee will have to pay a high price for that happiness.

The moment I started reading this book I was glued to the pages. I spent the entire morning reading this book rather doing what I supposed to do. Bella Jewel has a way of corrupting me with her fabulous stories. Valiant by Bella Jewel was worth giving up my morning work schedule for… I’ll just stay up all night to finish the morning work load.
