I’m that reader that loves the epilogues, the bonus scenes, the ‘6 months later’ add-ons. So it only stands to reason that when I heard that Kristen Proby was ready to start giving us books about the kids of her Seattle folks, I was over the moon. I mean, the beloved characters from a beloved series, and we get MORE?! Yes, please! THE SECRET is the first book in the Single in Seattle series, books that follow the kids of the Montgomery clan, one of my all-time faves, and I could not be happier.

It makes perfect sense that any daughter of Luke Williams and Natalie Conner Williams is going to be strong, confident, and a lovely person inside and out. Olivia is all of that and more, a success in her own right, refusing to ride the coattails of her famous dad.

Vaughn Barrymore is entertainment royalty, the heir apparent of a family famous for their position both in the movie business and in the news. All of these things also mean that he’s off limits for Olivia, but following that rule is harder than she ever expected.

THE SECRET is the perfect segue into this next chapter of Kristen’s Seattle universe, and I absolutely loved it. Sass, steam, passion, self-worth, all of the things that readers have come to expect in Kristen’s heroines, and a man that loves her exactly for who and what she is.
