Oh, my goodness, I don’t even know where to start. Okay, so I’m what I’d consider a big fan of author S.L. Scott. I look forward to each of her books, knowing that I’ll get a heartfelt story with a side of sexy and the possibility of some angst stirred in for good measure. I was not prepared for what she brought to the table with SAVAGE, the first book in The Kingwood Duet.

SAVAGE is a story full of surprises, ones that kept me guessing throughout. There were moments so intense that I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to make it through this book, but there was no way that I was stopping until I flipped to the very last page. And, O.M.G., y’all, Suzie took us right to the edge of that cliff, and BAM. Having to wait for SAVIOR, the second book, to find out what in the ever-loving world is going to happen next is one of the longest waits ever.

SAVAGE is truly one of the most riveting books that I’ve read this year. It’s totally different from any other, but with all the hallmarks of a typical S.L Scott book. Passion, lots of steam, heartfelt emotion, and characters that find their way into your heart, it’s all here. If you’re a fan of angsty, hot, suspenseful romances, SAVAGE should absolutely be on your TBR. Add it now and read it quickly, because you’ll want to be ready when SAVIOR goes live.
