This story made me laugh and cry, and touched my heart. Seeing Keith with Ashley’s little girl was my undoing. I could read it over and over again. I loved Ashley’s sassy mouth and her need for independence. I could relate to her since I am a single mother of two myself. I really got the giggles when Keith got jealous over her sassy banter with the bartender. This novella lives up to the Master’s and Mercenaries standard of hotness. It is 5 scorching stars. The scenes performed by Keith and Ashley will have you breaking out BOB and looking for the spare batteries…or…you could always just break out BOB and his other brother BOB and be good to go.

If you like watching a hot scorching Dom being brought to his knees by a lovely sassy sub then you will love Unconditional.

She had me hooked right then and there. Lane is an innocent from Kansas. Poor girl has to deal with the “Dorothy” comments quite a bit and I really feel her pain.

I love the tug of war relationship that Dillon and Lane have. He is such a jerk at first and she dishes it right back. He shows her kindness and she is sweet but then he is a jerk again. Dillon knows that Lane is untouchable. She is not the love ’em and leave ’em kind that Dillon is used to and well he needs a friggen reader because he has ran off everyone before her. He needs her help and so he will have to behave himself.

Lane knows that Dillon is a bad boy and that she was lucky to get this gig. As long as she does not sleep with him her future is secure at the agency. Since Lane has never been with a man that should be easy right? WRONG! She is attracted to Dillon as soon as she sees him let his guard down. He is sweet to his rescue dogs and very loyal to his brother Choo.

I loved this story. Dillon shows a side of himself to Lane that he has never shown anyone before. Her kindness, beauty, and understanding gets a hold of Dillon’s heart and will not let go. When Lane sees Dillon’s vulnerability she falls for him too. The sex is scorching hot. This review does come with a BOB warning. Dillon is an amazing lover that will have you squirming in your seat and seeking some relief. Hot Damn! What that man can do with his fingers and his tongue should be outlawed.

If you are a junkie like me and can’t get enough of “the bad boy falls for the good girl” smokin hot romance you will love Hard Glamour.

At this point in this series Daniel finally got his head out of his ass and jumped on board the menage train. He is so powerful now that he feeds from both Dev and Zoey and spends as much time as he possibly can inside of Zoey screwing her brains out. Which he does every day, several times a day, because hey, a man’s gotta eat. Just so you know Dev gets his too… Dev ties Zoey up and they both lavish her body with such enthusiasm that your panties will be drenched. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Just spend the damn money, buy the Duracell Quantum batteries for B.O.B., because you are going to need them. Put the kids to bed early and then get your Blake on.

Dev takes on a more alpha male role in this book and I freaking love it. He and Daniel still bicker like siblings and crack me up though. Dev is called upon as a Sex God, to use powers of fertility to help several wolf packs that are having troubles creating pups. This act will build a huge alliance with the wolves that Daniel really needs if he is going to consider going up against the Vampire Council. Dev’s powers have increased ten fold because Daniel feeds from him daily and they exchange energy. Dev becomes a sexy, scorching hot, lustfully lushious, and powerful Fertility God. My girl parts are doing the happy dance just thinking about Devinshea Conlan Quinn. Where does Zoey fit into this plan? Well you will just have to read about that, and let me tell you she is not happy about what Daniel and Dev want her to do.

Neil is back! Yay! I love Neil and am so glad he shows back up in Steal The Moon. You know you have it bad when you are sitting at your desk at work and day dreaming about your book boyfriends. I thought to myself, I wonder what Neil and Chad are up to today. It’s sad I know. I can’t wait to see Neil in all of his glory again in Steal the Sun.

Did I tell you that Dev’s twin brother Declan shows up? He almost has Zoey fooled for a moment, but she knows the taste of Dev’s delicious lips, and Declan just aint got it. Of course he is a total perv just like his brother but what would you expect? What I did not expect was for Dev’s mom to be such a perv. You only get a taste of Miria in this book and I can’t wait to see more of her in Steal The Sun.

Steal The Moon is a roller coaster ride filled with action and adventure, and then is topped off with some sinfully decadent whipped kink. The story line will keep you turning the pages to see what is going to happen next. One minute everything thing is great, and the next Lucas Halfer is in your face and all hell is breaking loose.

Lexi’s books always go beyond a five star rating because her plot development is outstanding. There is so much more drama, adventure, twists and turns in her books than most books. The kinky sex puts the icing on the cake…And let me tell you that Lexi’s cake is rich and lush and you are addicted after taking just one bite.

This is by far my favorite urban fantasy series. Lexi Blake is amazing. Her characters fly off the page and into your heart and soul. I will be counting down the days until I can see Dev, Daniel, Zoey, and Neil again in Steal The Sun.

Flirty, Fabulous, and Sinfully Sexy. I am loving Kristen Proby for writing this smokin hot sizzlin romance. Josh King is tall, dark, handsome, and sweet and will steal your heart while making your panties melt. He is a rancher and very proud to be following in his fathers footsteps. Kristen had me tearing up during the tree scene. Caroline (Cara) is the bomb. She is sweet, sassy, and all wrapped up in a sexy and curvy package.

Josh and Cara are brought together when Seth (Josh’s nephew) is dumped at the ranch by his mother. Josh’s brother Zach is serving in Afghanistan when Seth shows up. Seth is angry at his mother and father and feels like he has been abandoned. He is way behind in school and very defiant. Cara comes to Josh’s ranch to tutor Seth so he can start the school year on target. She is kind and compassionate and is able to reach Seth when no one else can. Josh notices Cara right away and quickly becomes smitten with her. What follows is a lustful affair that will have you breaking out B.O.B. for sure. Stock up on batteries for this one ladies. Josh is scorching hot and cant keep his hands off Cara.

The supporting cast makes this story even sweeter. Zach is Josh’s twin and is a smoking hot. He is military so he is very much and alpha male and loyal to the people he loves. Jilly is Cara’s best friend who is a wild and free spirit and I can’t wait for Kristen to write Zach and Jilly’s story. Then there is Ty, Jilly’s brother who is a rockstar bad boy lawyer who wears suits by day and shows of his tattooed sleeve by night. He only has eyes for Lauren, who recently went through a horrible divorce. They are thrown together when her ex-husband decides to sue her for half of her inheritance. Kristen has their book coming out next called Seducing Lauren. I can’t wait for the next books to come out.

If you like a sizzlin romance that will have you smiling and feeling giddy afterwards you will love, love, love, Loving Cara.

Hot, Sexy, and just Friggin Sensational! This story is a lot spicier than A Perfect Mess. I was fanning myself especially during the sit-ups scene. Hot Damn! It’s 12:30 am and I have to be at work in a few hours if that tells you anything. I could not put it down. I had to see what was going to happen with Verity and Boone. Of course they were going to live happily ever after, but it is the -how do they get there- that keeps me reading.

Zoe did an amazing job with character development in this story. She takes a girl that looks perfect on the outside “The Preachers Daughter” and shows us that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Verity has a lot of demons that she is hanging on to and has to learn to confess her sins and share that burden even if it means that Boone will walk away from her. Her parent’s approval of her is on the line.

Boone is an Outlaw and people judge the Outlaw Brothers based on their father’s actions. The town judges those boys without looking at what is on the inside. Boone has straightened up his act and is a caring person. He is volunteering his time and money to fix up the church. Why cant they see that?

When Verity realizes that she wrongly judged Boone her heart breaks. She was no better than anyone else in the town. As she gets to know him she falls head over heels and is so afraid that her secret will ruin everything they have built.

This book kept me on my toes and turning page after page to see what was going to happen next. If you like romantic suspense with some scorching hot sex scenes that will wake up your girlie parts then you will love A Perfect Mistake.

This story is written in a “different language”. What I mean by this is that this story takes place in the bayou and the author uses authentic Louisiana slang and phrases that I had never heard before. This language helps to set the background for the story and contributes to the character development.

This book had it all including: action, suspense, mystery, friendship, family, love, and some sinfully sexy scenes between Booker and Aubree. I really enjoyed this read. And now that I have read both A Perfect Mess and A Perfect Mistake I was glad I read this one because it gave me some history of the Outlaw Brothers and what they have been through.

If you like a sexy outlaw, and love watching a spicy little redhead bring a man to his knees, you will love A Perfect Mess.

I’m frozen in place. I have to clue what to do. Yes, I have hormones, pheromones, and even just good old, run-of-the-mill moans stuck in the back of my throat, which are on the verge of busting loose. My mind whirls… what did Matt meant by that statement?

We stare at each other… his eyes blazing an inferno of desire, mine probably reflecting the “deer in the headlights” look.

Swallowing hard, I say, “I think—”

Matt lunges at me, catching me with one arm around my waist and the other swiping across my desk, sending binders, papers, folders, pens, a tape dispenser, a stapler, two legal pads and a box of paper clips flying to the floor. “Don’t say a fucking word, McKayla. Just don’t.”

Pushing one of his rock hard thighs in between my legs, he bends me back onto my desk and settles against me, raising both hands now to cup my face. My heart is on the verge of exploding in my chest, and only two things fill my mind. First, please, please, please kiss me, Matt. Second, please, please, please don’t let me have a heart attack before he does.
I’m saved on both concerns as Matt pours lust, desire, anger, and passion into a kiss that causes my toes to curl against the flip-flops, which are barely clinging to my feet after I was practically thrown onto my desk. My tongue is shy at first, but it only takes Matt one tiny rock of his hips against mine, and then it’s on. We kiss like we never kissed on that one night we spent together. It is filled with not only yearning, but with a bit of frustration and shame that we have no control over our actions.

This is wrong… we both know it.

Yet he hums with approval when I reach my hand down between us and give him a light stroke, and I practically convulse when one of his hands cup my breast. For a brief moment, Matt seems to come to his senses and stills against me. He rises up from my mouth and stares at me deeply, worry creasing his forehead. He even curses just the way I’ve come to appreciate about him. “Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.”

“We don’t have to—” I start to say, but he growls at me so I snap my mouth shut.

He stares at me for just a moment more, and then he abruptly stands up. I think it’s over, that reality has reappeared, and disappointment fills me. That lasts just a flicker of a moment because fantasy land returns as Matt starts stripping me of my clothes.
In less than fifteen seconds, he has me completely naked and splayed out on my desk in front of him. He looks down at me, eyes roaming, and he actually licks his lips like he’s getting ready to gorge himself.

Yes, I’m ringing the dinner bell… bring it on.

I expect Matt to undo his pants and mount up, but he surprises me when he pulls one of my chairs closer to the desk and sits down. He takes my legs, spreads them outward, and tugs me to the edge of the desk, throwing said legs rather haphazardly over his shoulders.

Bringing My Real Life Into Fictional Writing

So, I’m a lawyer. A trial lawyer to be exact. I’ve spent the past 16 years arguing my heart out to juries but honestly, it wasn’t that big of a transition to bring my creativity in oral prose to the pages.

I’ve been dying to write a romance with a legal theme floating in the background. Legal Affairs was the perfect opportunity and I have more ideas for future books that revolve around lawyers, hot sex, gooey romance and interesting cases.

In Legal Affairs, I went light on the legal action. This was mainly because each volume has a limited budget of words, but there is a defined case that our heroine, McKayla Dawson handles in this story. It’s an actual case based on one of the very first cases I handled when I was a young lawyer fresh out of law school. The factual details are straight from my own files and it was an amazing trip down memory lane.

One of my biggest challenges as a trial lawyer was getting a jury to step into my client’s shoes… to make them feel in their gut how much my client had been affected. It’s been an incredible journey to make my readers feel an emotional tie to the characters in my stories. When that connection happens, it is beyond awesome.

Legal Affairs is a serial romance with a whole lot of hot and a little bit of funny. It has six volumes that will be released every two weeks, the first one, entitled Objection, on January 10, 2014. Each title is between 12,000-15,000 words with the last one close to 20,000 words.

Cally is smitten with William and admires him from afar. She is overjoyed and overwhelmed when he actually pursues her. He is her knight in shining armour. Stolen Wishes is only the beginning of one of the most heart-wrenching and sinfully sexy love stories I have ever read. This novella should make you run out and buy Wish I May. If you already own Wish I May, after reading Stolen Wishes, William Bailey will own a piece of your heart.

“Hey, William,” a girl calls from the kitchen. “Why don’t you come in here and take a shot?

I hardly have a chance to tense before Will pulls me closer. “Can’t do that, Meredith. My date’s here.”

Lizzy and Hanna both turn to us at his words, and I feel my own eyes go wide.

“I’d consider it a personal favor if you could roll with this,” he whispers into my ear.

“Meredith has been trying to get me to do body shots since she got here two hours ago.”

“You don’t drink?” I ask, not that it’s my business. I’ve just never been to a party with alcohol before, and I’m not sure what to expect. From the stories I’ve heard, I half expected everyone to be wasted by the time we got here.

“It’s not the drinking that I mind. She’s just not my type.” When I frown at him, confused, his lips quirk in a halfsmile. “You do know what a body shot is, don’t you?”

I shake my head.

“Want to find out?” His fingers trail over the sensitive dip in my spine as he asks, and I nod. I would probably agree to anything he asked me right now.

He takes me to the kitchen, his hot hand never leaving the small of my back.

Lizzy and Hanna step back and study us as he leads me to the island. I’d feel guilty about

abandoning them tonight, but they seem to be having a great time.

“Where’s the tequila, Max?” Will calls.

Max hoists a bottle of amber liquid in the air and snags a shot glass off the counter.

“Do you know what a snakebite is?” Will asks me quietly. He’s standing close so only I

can hear him when he talks.

I bite my lip. “I don’t really go to many parties.”

Next to us, Max fills the shot glass with tequila.

“A snakebite is a shot of tequila that you take with salt and lime,” Will explains to me.

“What makes it a body shot?” I ask.

His throat moves as he swallows, and his blue eyes go darker somehow, his pupils getting bigger. His lips part as he studies mine. “It’s a body shot if you take all the parts of the snakebite off someone else’s body.”

That makes my pulse kick up a notch. I’m still trying to puzzle out the logistics when Max calls,

“No hands, Bailey.”

Will winks at me. “And I can’t use my hands for anything but putting the salt on you.

Are you still game?”

I nod wordlessly, and I’m rewarded with one of Will’s fullout grins. I don’t need to know

details to understand his mouth is going to be on me, and I like the idea of that. A lot.

Will’s hands slide to my waist and tighten, and before I realize what he’s doing, he’s

hoisting me up on the counter. I squeak, and the girls cheer. All of them except Kristen and Meredith, that is. They’re leaning against the fridge, scowling at me like I killed their puppy.

Max hands me the shot glass and looks at me expectantly.

“Do I hold it?” I whisper.

“If you want,” Max says. “But I think you shouldn’t make it so easy on my boy here.”

Will shakes his head. “Whatever you’re comfortable with.”

Lizzy rushes over and cups her hand around my ear. “Slide it between your breasts. Trust

I gape at her, and she shrugs innocently before joining Hanna at the edge of the kitchen.

I may be inexperienced, but I’m not naïve and I get what this game is about. My cheeks

heat as I slide the glass into my cleavage. It’s cool against my hot skin, and Will’s eyes burn into me as he watches me position it.

Max offers me a lime wedge.

“Do you need your friend to tell you what to do with that too?” Kristen calls.

“Shut up, Kristen,” Will says. “You didn’t know what you were doing your first time either.”

But she’s right. Lizzy shouldn’t have to tell me what to do. I take the lime and put it

between my teeth, facing out. The citrusy pulp presses against my lips, making them tingle.

Or maybe the tingle is from the idea of William’s lips close to mine.

Will grins and brushes my hair off my neck. “Ready or not.”

Let me get started by saying I am a huge fan of Monica Murphy and the Drew and Fable epic saga. I also adore her Billionaire Bachelor’s Club Series. Because I am a huge fan, it was really difficult to give this book a three star review. I love Monica and it took me several days to develop the courage to write this review.

Jen and Colin have been a part of each others lives for several years. Colin was Jen’s brother Danny’s best friend. They were like brothers and had planned their future together. They were both going to join the military together but Danny got overzealous and went and signed up before Colin had a chance to stop him and ask him to join in him in opening a restaurant instead. Danny dies in combat and it destroys Colin. Colin blames himself for not talking to Danny sooner and lives with the guilt and nightmares. He promised Danny when he left for war that he would take care of his little sister Jen.

Jen is a hot mess. Her parents forgot about her after Danny died and so she runs away with no thought of how she will take care of herself. She finds herself stripping at a club and providing extra favors to men in the backseat of her car just so she can survive. When Colin finds out he is livid. He is her knight in shining armor when he rescues her, moves her into his home, and gives her a job at his restaurant.

The problem is that Jen wants more from Colin. She wants his heart, body, and soul. Colin is not willing to give it to her. This is where the story gets really angsty and the excuses that Colin gives are not substantial enough that they should stay apart. Jen then jumps again without thinking ahead. This is where I felt like the characters started falling apart. Jen is super naive and I think that is why I had such a hard time connecting with her character, and Colin is very wishy washy which made it hard for me to like him. This story just did not do it for me because I could not identify and connect with the characters.

Overall Three Broken Promises was a good read. If you are a huge fan of Drew and Fable like I am then Three Broken Promises is worth reading just to get the chance to see them again. They are the voice of reason in this story. I cannot wait until Drew and Fable Forever comes out.
