The Fine Art of Deception : Undoing Time by Alyssa Richards was a fantastic debut. This book had mystery, suspense, crime, the paranormal- physic element, romance, and red hot passion. It was well written. The plot was well executed and the book flowed flawlessly. I was hooked in the first chapter.

Addie has gone to work in her father’s art company. As an appraiser, she is looking to incorporate her “gift” with her passion for art. She is hoping that through the artwork can she not only get the value of the piece but also the artist perspective and vision through her “gift”.

When her father and grandfather have disappeared from the firm while working on a business deal. Addie’s gift may be able to help her solve the mystery of their disappearance. When she meets the mysterious art dealer, she is hoping that her gift can help connect him to their disappearance. The problem is that her gift does not work on him at all. Soon they are both caught in a web of deception, lies, and danger. They must work together to uncover the truth.

Revelations will be made. Addie will have to decide if she can trust Blake or if he is the real culprit behind their disappearances.

This book was loaded with mystery and suspense. The plot was well executed and kept me on the edge of my seat. The sizzling passionate scenes between Addie and Blake were red hot.

The Art of Deception by Alyssa Richards was the perfect blend of several genres in one book. I highly recommend this book.
