When Alayna Withers likes a guy, she REALLY likes him. A lot. Hudson Pierce, on the other hand, can’t fall in love. That’s just the way that it is.Alayna Withers has a job she loves, working as a bartender at Sky Launch Nightclub. Having recently graduated with her Master’s degree in Business, she is in no hurry to settle down into the corporate world. Hudson Pierce is a force to be reckoned with in the business world. He is young, powerful, rich, and has just bought Sky Launch. When Laynie and Hudson meet, their attraction is evident, but a) he’s her boss and b) she has a little problem with getting too attached to her boyfriends. Hudson, however, has a different kind of job for Laynie. He needs help convincing his parents that he’s not in love with his fiancee, and thinks that Laynie is just the girl to help him out. It won’t be a problem, because he’s immune to that pesky thing called love, so what could go wrong?

I loved, loved, loved this book, and Hudson Pierce is absolutely one of my favorite BBFs ever (and that’s saying a LOT). The rating of a book for me is measured by how engrossing the story is, how well I like the characters, and how hard it is for me to put it down. ‘Fixed On You’ is the total package, delivering in every single one of these categories. I can’t wait to get more of Hudson Pierce; this is a very solid five-star read for me, and I can’t recommend it enough.
