Tia Louise knocks another one out of the park. One to Love is sinfully sexy and has a plot twist that will make your jaw drop. I have adored the One To Hold series and One to Love delivers an amazing plot, undeniable chemistry and just enough angst to have you turning the pages to see what will happen next.
Slayde is a very damaged soul. He has put in the time for his crime and lives with the guilt of what he did everyday of his life. He finds his escape in Bayville in a dilapidated beach house. He does not need much and is excited for the opportunity to start over. He is happy when Rook hires him on at the Jungle Gym as a janitor. An honest day’s work is all he is looking for. He never expects to find a woman being attacked on the beach and his desire for her after he saves her. She is beautiful and strong. She is a fighter and all he can do is thank his lucky stars that he was able to help her and find the will to handle her attackers without going over the edge. He wanted to kill them.
Kenny has had a dark cloud hovering over her heart for a very long time. After she lost her husband and had a one-night-stand that ended up resulting in her getting pregnant, she has had enough stress in her life. Luckily Patrick is a good guy and a great friend and he is raising their son with his wonderful fiancée Laniey. Her life would have been so much easier if she could have loved Patrick as more than a friend but she just could not see him as any more than a big brother figure in her life. When Slayde rescues her from the attack she can’t believe the feelings that are stirred inside her. Feelings that she thought had died with Blake.
So when Slayde ends up the janitor at Jungle Gym where Kenny works as a trainer it has to mean that fate somehow and someway wanted them to find each other. The chemistry is scorching hot and it does not take long for Kenny to even the score with her boss for all of his locker room shenanigans.
Tia does great job bringing together two very damaged souls and gives them an impossible feat to conquer. I laughed, cried, and found myself blushing more than once. I am so excited to read whatever Tia comes up with next.

The muscle in his jaw moved, and his voice was a throaty whisper. “Being with you is incredibly easy. Whether it’s a mistake, I guess we have to wait and see. I’d like to think it’s not.”
My body swayed with the movement of his thumbs over my breasts. “I want you to kiss me.”
In one swift movement, his mouth covered mine. An ache of longing moaned from my throat into his lips, and he pulled my bottom lip between his teeth. Wrapped in his arms, tight against his firm chest, heat sizzled under my skin.
He whispered over my lashes as he pressed his lips to my forehead, the scruff of his beard roughing my skin. “I’ve dreamed of holding you this way since that first night. I hated myself for it because you’d been hurt—”
“You kept me from being hurt.” My voice was breathless with desire.
His lips moved back to my cheek, down to my jaw. “You’re so beautiful standing here in the moonlight.”
Dropping to his knees, cool air flooded where the warmth of his body had been. Strong hands moved to my waist, one holding my side, the other flat against my lower back as full lips kissed my stomach through the damp shirt. His mouth moved to my hip, and I felt my legs start to tremble.
“Slayde,” I whispered, barely staying on my feet. It had been so long since I’d been touched this way, I wasn’t sure how much I could bear.
