Ella James has once again delivered a delightful and intriguing romance. The Boy Next Door has everything readers look for in a romance novel. From the childhood connection to the difficulties in an adult world, true love prevails. The past and the present collide and when all the truths are revealed it’s an explosive and emotional ending.
Amelia and Dash were friends since she was a six year old, scared little girl. When he saved her from drowning in a pool, he became her hero for life. Amelia worshipped the ground Dash walked on even though he was three years older. Their lives were on very different tracks but their friendship was solid until the day Dash left for college. He broke all contact and erased her from his life. One fateful summer visit home solidified their estranged relationship and ended it completely.
Six years later they are thrown in each other’s paths once again. She is interning for a film studio and Dash is the head animator on the project she was assigned to. She can’t forget his betrayal.
