I should know. I did it.

I make a face, and drop a twenty on the counter as I take my order. “I don’t even know what I’d do with that much free time.”
She arches an eyebrow at me and I grin at her.
“Hazel, my love,” Gabe says, sailing through the door of the coffee shop as I turn away from the counter.
I swallow the grin before it twists into a smirk. “Gabriel,” I say, almost frosty and he laughs.
Smug bastard.
“We should carpool, love, if we’re going to keep meeting like this. Save the planet and all.”
“Because you care so much about the damn planet,” I scoff, and he makes a face, all wounded dignity.
The problem with that face is that I know Gabe. I’ve known him my whole life.
Gabe is everything I ran away from when I left Green Co. Everything I wanted to forget. The smirk that means trouble and the too sharp eyes that sees right through my quick easy lies and watches with concern when I isolate.
F*cking bastard is my neighbor. He’s too damn close for comfort and too damn nosy for his own good.
And coming from an investigative journalist, that’s pretty f*cking nosy.

Graham: I AM a little crazy, actually. I probably need my head checked because I’ve been fantasizing about a headless person all day.

Soraya: Well, the naked pic ain’t gonna happen.

Once again Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have combined their superb writing talents in their latest release of Stuck-Up Suit.

Stuck-Up Suit is a powerhouse romance that will appeal to readers of all romance genres. Graham Morgan is a swoon worthy hero that is going to have the readers falling head over heels in love. He’s not the typical hero, in fact he’s a real prick until he meets Saraya Venedetta, who reminds him that there is more to life than spread sheets, investments, and financial gain. Graham lost himself and became jaded after a devastating, destructive relationship. He forgot to look at the wonders of life, friendship, and decency until Soraya challenged his mind and heart.

Soraya and Graham have both been deeply hurt in life. They have both found very different ways of coping with their heartbreaks. Two damaged souls find love, respect, and new perspectives when they least expected it. Like any good romance, to evolve into a deeply committed relationship, it takes work. A condom tucked into my wallet, just in case. I was in foreign territory, and my entire body knew it – tense shoulders, my heart beating like a drum, and arousal barely contained beneath the surface.

Finley was standing at the doorway, watching me with a confused expression.

She looked gorgeous, makeup free, pink-painted toes, hair mussed and loose. Little cotton pajama shorts and a tank top that hugged her lush breasts.

“Maple’s not here.” She said the words, but she knew as well as I did I wasn’t here for Maple.

“I know that.” My voice was sure and confident.

“Then why are you … oh.” Finley shifted her weight, her eyes dropping from mine as she saw the wine and flowers. She could read it all, plain as day. I knew she could see my intentions, my uncertainty, and underneath it all, my desire. Maybe it was the desire to fix everything I’d broken, or maybe it was just my desire for her as a man desires a woman.

Normally when I felt that primal urge for sex, I headed to West’s bar. I’d pick out a woman for the night. Share a few drinks with her, a few laughs. Later, we’d head back to my place and fuck until dawn. And that was it. I’d be set for a few months.

This … with the courting and the nerves … it was nothing like my standard operating procedure.

I’d never felt so stripped bare and vulnerable. Never put myself out there so completely with a woman before. But then again, Finley was unlike any woman I’d ever met.

And she was still just standing there. “Can I come inside?” I asked, heart in my throat.

She didn’t say anything. But she opened the door wider.

She softened slightly. She did understand corporate spying. Her father had practically been the CIA. It was why she hadn’t gone after Glendale the way she should. “Don’t go,” he said against her lips. “Stay with me.”
It was all she’d wanted to do in the first place. “Yes.”
He picked her up, hauling her high against his chest, but when she thought he would move back to the bedroom, he strode toward his desk. He sat down with her in his lap and flipped open his laptop. The screen was suddenly on, but she was thinking far more about the thick erection pressed against her backside.
“Type. Be fast. I don’t want to wait,” he growled against her ear.
He’d pulled up his e-mail and moved the cursor to where she would put in a name. His hands moved under her shirt, reaching up to cup her breasts as he licked and nipped at her ear.
How was she supposed to type when her whole body was busy responding to him? “Flynn, I’m going to make a mess of this.”
“Type or I’ll explain to your boss that you’re far too busy pleasing your Master to come in to work today.”
