Every rebel needs a cause—and a woman to believe in. Discover why Heidi McLaughlin raves that “the sexy, alluring bad boys of the True Brothers MC will make your mouth water” in this smoldering novel from the author of Ruthless.
The black-leather-clad biker who just roared up on his Harley doesn’t resemble any single father Emily Clark has ever known. But as she watches “Reb” bonding with his son, Emily realizes there’s a lot more to this bad boy than his alpha-male attitude or his sinful good looks. And when Reb takes an interest in her, there’s no way she can resist his surprisingly tender touch. The one thing Emily won’t give up is her hard-won independence.
As president of the True Brothers MC, Reb owes a sacred debt of loyalty to the club, but his first priority is making sure that his son grows up right. Pursuing an unexpected affair with Emily is a close second. Then a violent stalker threatens her life, and this unconventional guardian angel really turns up the heat. Nobody messes with Reb, or anyone under his protection. Trouble is, how’s he supposed to defend Emily when she insists on going it alone? He’s willing to put his life on the line for her. Now, maybe, he needs to open his heart.

Michel’s Review
Rebellious is the first book I have read by author Gillian Archer. I didn’t realize it was the second book in the True Brothers MC series. I realized it when I got a bit into the story. Usually I am a stickler about reading books in series order. I can honestly say that Rebellious can be read as a stand alone novel or in series order. Readers will enjoy it either way.
Emily Clark just wanted to go home and relax after work. Instead she finds her neighbors son sitting on the steps alone eating a bagful of junk food. How can you impossibly ignore a kid that needs to be taken care of? She’s going to confront his father since his mother is obviously not doing her job. Little did she know she would be facing down the president of the True Brothers MC. Or that she would be shoved in the middle of a custody battle and nasty divorce.
The last thing Reb needs is another relationship. He’s got his son to worry about, an ex wife to get rid of, and a club counting on him. He can’t stay away from Emily Clark even though she is not a part of his world. She’s a fighter and she fought for his son, how could he resist?
Emily is not sure she fits into Reb’s world. She doesn’t know if she can handle the biker world. The one thing she is sure of is that every day it gets harder and harder to resist Reb.
Reb isn’t the only one with problems in his personal life. Emily has her own set of problems in her life. She’s a fiercely independent woman bent on handling her own problems. A stalker may be beyond her capabilities. She just needs to admit she needs Reb in her life.
Between the crazy ex’s, a pyscho stalker, and a war brewing with a rival MC, Rebellious has everything readers look for in a Biker / MC romance. I will definitely be reading the first book in the series and the next releases by Gillian Archer.

Boss gives Miri a hit
Despite Miri’s disgusting appearance, her nasty addiction to heroin, and the fact that her maybe-boyfriend had been stealing from me to feed her habit, I felt responsible for her. It was my shit she got hooked on, and she just seemed… frail and in need of someone to take care of her. It was almost as if she were sent here as penance for my past failures to take care of my mom and sister.
Besides, Miri intruded on my property. She knew where I lived. I couldn’t just toss her out. It was highly unlikely, but she could call the cops and get them down here with a warrant in the blink of an eye.
Better to get her dosed up and calmed down before trying to talk.
“Jase,” I barked.
One of my men immediately appeared at my side. “Yes, Boss.”
“Bring me the kit.”
With a sharp nod, he left the room and reappeared in less than two minutes to hand me a small zippered pouch. “Here you go, Boss.”
“All of you leave,” I ordered as I began prepping the kit. One by one, I lined the items up on the table, in the order I would need them. Everyone obeyed my command but one.
“Boss, come on…”
“Milo, don’t push me any further tonight.” I turned to give my lieutenant a dark stare that said don’t fuck with me. He better not press his thoughts in front of a stranger.
Milo’s lips pressed tight as he struggled to keep his mouth shut and follow my orders. Nothing new from the big, strong-willed man. He was very opinionated at times. Tense and agitated, Milo gave in and agreed. “Fine. I’m going home then, Boss.”
“See you in the morning.” I dismissed Milo and returned my attentions to the sweaty, gross, trembling girl in my kitchen.
Using an alcohol pad, I wiped my hands to kill any germs. Then I picked up a tiny packet of white powder, careful not to spill any, and poured it into a spoon designed to lie on a flat surface without tilting. The rubber tourniquet was long compared to Miri’s razor-thin arm. I knotted it around the tiny limb, holding back a pained grimace at touching her filthy skin. When I glanced up to check on her, I found Miri watching intently. I blinked and tore my gaze away from those wide green eyes to search for a vein. There wasn’t a single usable one on her scar-riddled arm.
“Shit,” I muttered when an inspection of her other arm turned up the same.
“I-I use my feet.” Miri’s voice was so soft I nearly missed her response.
Caught in the sliver of emerald in those captivating eyes, it took me a minute to reply.
“All right.” I removed the tourniquet, put it around a slender ankle, and placed her left foot on the floor to get better blood flow to the extremity. A single bluish vein stood out, surrounded by a half-dozen faded and fresh track marks. “There it is.” I grabbed another alcohol pad and swabbed the area. Syringe in hand, I uncapped a vial of sterile water and drew up a small amount, adding it to the powered opiate in the spoon. Using a lighter, I cooked the drugs until the mixture was reduced to a clear, bubbling liquid. As I waited for the chemicals to cool, Miri became frantic.
“I-It’s okay. I c-can take it hot. Really. I-I don’t mind. Please…”
“No.” I shook my head. “It’s not safe. You could blow a vein or worse.”
“I don’t care! Give it to me.” She started to struggle in the chair, in danger of tipping it over again.
Fed the fuck up with today’s events and bullshit in general, I caught her chin between my thumb and forefingers and pinched hard enough to hold her still.
“Stop this immediately or you’ll get nothing. Listen carefully, because I’m only going to say it once. I’m never, ever hospitable to intruders, so you should consider yourself lucky to still be breathing right now and not being driven to a remote location where no one will ever find your body.”
Those dull eyes widened with fear and her lip trembled. “Okay, okay. I’m g-good. I’ll be good. I’m s-sorry.”
I ripped open another alcohol swab and wiped off my fingers. Filthy junkie. Once the mixture was cool, I drew it up into the syringe using a filtered needle and made sure the air was out.
“Ready?” I’m not sure why I bothered—I knew the answer before the question was asked.
“Yes, please, please, please.” Miri vibrated with anticipation.
Despite the fact I grew up around drugs, despised drug use, watched my family implode from drug addiction and never once allowed anyone to get high in my house or permitted drug use among my employees, I went against everything I believed personally and stuck the needle into the vein on Miri’s foot. I pulled back to watch as dark red blood entered the syringe. With visual confirmation I hit a vein, I removed the tourniquet and slowly injected the opiate into her system until the syringe was empty. Working efficiently, I cleaned up the kit, put the used items in a container for the staff to dispose of, and washed my hands at the sink.
Then I sat down and waited.

Michel’s Review
Miri never dreamed her life would take the path she is on. She is addicted to heroin. She lives for her next hit. She will do anything for it, no matter how degrading it may be. She is a junkie.
Looking for her next hit lands her in a very dangerous situation. She has gone to the Bossman, the man in charge of all the drug sales in the city, for her next fix. He would just as soon have her killed than give her a dose of his precious commodity. But something triggers within him, rather than seeing a strung out filthy junkie, he sees a human being that is worth saving… or at least saving today. He sees the regrets of his past and a way to amend some of it.
Jagger Bosman is the most ruthless drug lord to grace the city. He climbed to the top after taking out the previous drug lord at a young age. He rules his city without mercy or conscience. His commands are absolute, no room for interpretation. If one of his employees defies him or disregards his commands, they are dead within a moment. For the life of him he can’t figure out why he allowed a filthy junkie to live after she entered his compound without permission.
Bossman is a peculiar man with extreme OCD and other quirks. His peculiarities came from his past. He is beyond redemption but he does have a soul. He is giving a girl a chance to live her life drug free. A life that does not belong in his world. A chance at real happiness. He will imprison her, care for her, and get her drug free. He will set her free of the world that binds her to her next fix.
Everything the Bossman does is premeditated. He does not act upon whims or spontaneity. Every decision is precisely calculated. But once Miri enters his life, his existence begins to change. His behavior is changing. It’s making him look weak to his employees and his enemies.
A war is coming. Miri might get caught up his world by association rather than need.
He has to figure out what his next move will be before it’s too late to control it.
The Bossman is about control.
Heather C. Leigh has started a very dark series that is almost impossible for a happily ever after for both Miri and Jagger. Their world is brutal and the strong are not going to survive. Junkie ended on a cliffhanger that will take the Broken Doll series in another direction. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I sell drugs. Heroin to be specific. And I’m fucking good at my job. Enough to fight my way to the top position, controlling all of Austin’s supply.
So what if I had to kill the previous boss to do it. I do what has to be done. Never cared about consequences because I never had anything to lose.
Until I met Miri. My doll. She’s my weakness and somehow, my enemies found out about her.
If they hurt her, they will regret the day they ever heard my name. Boss. They call me Boss for a reason. What I say goes, including the price on the heads of anyone who dares to fuck with what belongs to me.
I’m the author of the Amazon best selling Famous series. I like to write about the ‘dark’ side of fame. The part that the public doesn’t get to see, how difficult it is to live in a fishbowl and how that affects relationships.
I was born and raised in New England and currently live outside Atlanta, GA.
I love the Red Sox, the Patriots, and anything made of chocolate (but not white chocolate, that doesn’t count).
My favorite authors are Dan Wells, Tina Reber, Ken Follett, and Stephen King. Happy reading!
“Come, boy, I will give you a reading…show me your hands.”
Jeffery Rossi wants to be a man of logic but finds himself basing his life’s decisions on a prophecy delivered at the hands of an old gypsy fortune teller. The death of his beloved wife coupled with the loss of what he thought would be his carefully crafted future, have spun him onto a path of self-destruction.
“Three children will come from you—a king and two queens.”
Jeff believed he knew how his future would unravel, but he’s about to get a lesson in how the Universe works. Fate should not be left to the interpretation of mere mortals. Interfere and suffer, surrender… and let the fates help you find your destiny.
“No matter what you do, no matter how far away you run, what’s written in the stars cannot be undone.”

Chapter 3
Jeffery
“Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley
A good person, a good man, a good father wouldn’t leave his children a few days after their mother died to go hide in a secret love-shack he once kept with their biological mother. Juliet and Jacob deserve a good parent, and not a shit mess like me. I’m a worthless, empty excuse for a man without my wife, I’m nothing without Sara, and they can’t see me like this. If they look into my eyes, they’ll know I’m dead, too.
My secretary has left no less than two voicemails every fucking hour on the hour—my father-in-law, too. The whole world wants to tell me how sorry they are for me. I only check my phone to make sure it’s not my babies trying to reach me. My parents and my whole family are at my house with them, and all I can think about is how alone we are. My mind won’t let me forget about Sara—the girl I once met in a New York club on a dirty dance floor, the girl that offered to blow me as a joke, only the joke was on me. Just one kiss and she fucked me up for life, but I’d do it all over again because I owe her everything. What the fuck is wrong with me? It’s as if my heart is finally allowed to explode and all the feelings and thoughts I’ve trained my mind to keep under control are blasting out, and I can’t do anything but let it consume me. The prophecy I’ve held onto for fourteen years has waited long enough, and it begs to finally play out.

Michel’s Review
Lost In Rewind by Tali Alexander is the third book in the Audio Fools series. I have never read any to Tali’s books and went into this book blind. I can honestly say that I am happy that I haven’t read the previous two books in the series. If I had read the previous books, which I will, I think they would of influenced my reactions to this story. I think I would of had a definite negative opinion about Jeffrey. Going into this story blind allowed me to see every facet of Jeffrey’s life and how he was influenced by uncontrollable circumstances in the past.
Imagine a fortune teller saying something about your future that hits home. A prediction that is right on mark. A prediction that is so believable it can’t be anything but the truth. Like most things, there are always two sides to a story, a bigger picture in the scheme of things. Jeffrey allowed a prediction to dictate his life. He hung on to the hopes the prediction entailed. Was he right to do this? Yes and no.
In the course of fifteen years Jeffrey’s life was beyond his control. He loved two women with all of his heart or so he thought. By hanging onto a prediction about his future, he let that rule his life rather than living for each moment. He missed out on gifts that life had to offer. The special moments he could never get back. His actions hurt other people. Most of all, he hurt himself.
After his wife’s death Jeffrey finally thinks he’s free. He can finally live the life a gypsy told him would have. What he thought was his future life has the potential to destroy him completely and destroy his children. The gypsy had the prediction right, just not what Jeffrey perceived.
He will have to face his past, open his heart, and embrace the future. It was written in the stars long ago.
When I first started this book I thought Jeffrey was a complete jerk. As the pages progressed, my views about Jeffrey changed. I was able to see a vulnerable man that had loved deeply but forgot to love himself. He was too busy trying to pave the path he thought his life was on. When the truth and reality hits home, he’s a lost soul. Jeffrey is brave enough to reach out and find what really matters in life.
I will definitely go back and read the first two books in the series now that I know what a good person Jeffrey is inside. I think if I would of known any of his story before hand I would not of read this book. Like I said before, there are always two sides to every story.

Meet Tali
Tali Alexander is a Jill-of-all-trades—married mother of three, doctor of pharmacy by day and romance novelist by night. Tali has fulfilled her passion of writing with her debut romance novel LOVE IN REWIND (first book in the Audio Fools trilogy). Since its debut, fans have embraced the unconventional love story of Emily and Louis Bruel making LOVE IN REWIND #1 on Amazon Kindle charts (September 2014). With an increasing demand from her fan base for the next installment, Tali has recently released the next story in the Audio Fools trilogy…LIES IN REWIND, out now!!!
Tali’s fans will finally get their third and final book in the series titled, LOST IN REWIND, which is set to release in Fall of 2016.
The last thing I expect when I walk into The Hawkeye Club is to fall head over heels in lust. It’s supposed to be a rescue mission. I have to get my baby sister off the pole, into some clothes, and out of the grasp of the pussy peddler who somehow manipulated her into stripping. But the moment I see Savage Hawke and verbally spar with him, my ability to remain rational flies out the window and my libido takes center stage. I’ve never wanted a relationship—my time is better spent focusing on taking down the scum running this city—but what I want and what I need are apparently two different things.
Danika Eriksson storms into my office in her high heels and on her high horse. Her holier-than-thou attitude and accusations should offend me, but instead, I can’t get her out of my head or my heart. Her incomparable drive, take-no-prisoners attitude, and blatant honesty captivate me and hold me prisoner. I should steer clear, but my self-preservation instinct is apparently dead—which is exactly what our relationship will be once she knows everything. It’s only a matter of time.
The truth doesn’t always set you free. Sometimes, it just royally screws you.
When I agree to read a book by a new author, there’s always a chance that it will not be what I am expecting. There’s a safety in taking on books that are a known quantity, and mixing it up both keeps things fresh and also opens the door to disappointment. When I was given the opportunity to read SAVAGE COLLISION by author Gwyn McNamee, I was in. I’m a sucker for antagonists-to-lover reads, and this book seemed to fill the bill.
SAVAGE COLLISION is more than just the typical romance read, though. While this book definitely packs plenty of heat, there is much more to it, which I really appreciated. There is angst aplenty, crime, and intrigue to go along with the relationship that develops between Danika and Savage. Gwyn has done a good job of marrying all of these elements to give readers a book that will draw them in from the very first, and keep them reading until the last page.
I have to say that we’re also introduced to some very interesting supporting characters here, and I would be more than happy to see some additional books in this series about them. SAVAGE COLLISION is a solid 4-star read for me, and I look forward to seeing much more of Gwyn’s writing in future.
***ARC generously provided for an honest review.***
Gwyn McNamee is an attorney, writer, wife, and mother (to one human baby and two fur babies). Originally from the Midwest, Gwyn relocated to her husband’s home town of Las Vegas in 2015 and is enjoying her respite from the cold and snow. Gwyn has been writing down her crazy stories and ideas for years and finally decided to share them with the world. She loves to write stories with a bit of suspense and action mingled with romance and heat.
When she isn’t either writing or voraciously devouring any books she can get her hands on, Gwyn is busy adding to her tattoo collection, golfing, and stirring up trouble with her perfect mix of sweetness and sarcasm (usually while wearing heels). An admitted shoe whore, Gwyn’s closet rivals Carrie Bradshaw’s and is constantly expanding.
Gwyn’s debut novel, Savage Collision, the first book in The Hawke Family Series, releases September 1, 2016.
“Zach Watters has made a lot of mistakes in his life. But when he sees Shelby Calder looking more beautiful than ever standing outside her childhood home, he promises himself that letting her go won’t be a mistake he ever makes again.”
That moment you love someone more than you love yourself.
That was the moment we gave our son up for adoption and the moment I was left bare. A wide-open space that would forever be empty.
There are moments that define you as a person, moments that prove just how strong you are, moments you push yourself to keep going forward when all you really want to do is give up. It was in one of those moments when I reached out and found him waiting for me.
When Shelby Calder left home fifteen years ago, she never planned on returning to the Alaskan town she left behind. But after the death of her grandfather and a bitter divorce, she hopes going home will be a fresh start for her and her ten-year-old son, Hunter. She wanted to return to the place that made her happy until her own personal demons forced her to run away from Cordova and Zach Watters.
Zach Watters has made a lot of mistakes in his life. But when he sees Shelby Calder, looking more beautiful than ever, standing outside her childhood home, he promises himself that letting her go won’t be a mistake he ever makes again.
Some things never change and love is one of them.
Excerpt
“Then why did you marry her?” I ask, wondering if I’m really ready to go there with him, but it’s too late to change my mind. The question is out, and as much as I don’t want to know the answer, I need to know the answer.
“I wanted my kids to have what I didn’t. I believed that, with time, we could find a way to be happy.”
“Maybe we shouldn’t talk about this,” I say, changing my mind as nausea and jealousy turn my stomach.
“You loved your ex, baby. I know you did. I didn’t have that. I wanted it but never had it with her or anyone else since you.”
“Please stop.” Feeling tears burn the back of my eyes for him, I close them tight. Max and I were happy and in love in the beginning, and I hate knowing Zach never had that… the kids didn’t see or feel that.
“I wish my past didn’t hurt you so much. I’m sorry for hurting you the way I have. If I could take your pain away, I would.” He gathers me against him and tucks my head under his chin.
“As sad as it makes me, I wish you would have had that with her or someone else,” I say, and his arms tighten so much that my lungs compress.
“I don’t,” he growls.
“What?” I wheeze, and he loosens his grip just enough for me to take a breath.
“I don’t want to think about what would have happened if I had been with her or someone else when you came back. I don’t want to face that demon inside of me that knows what I would have done.”
“Zach—”
“I’ve been in love with you for almost eighteen years. I carried your missing pieces around inside me for that long, Shelby. I know it would have made me an asshole, but there is only one you. You’re the only place I’ve ever called home.” His voice is thick with emotion, and that wound inside of me fills up a little bit more. I hate his words, but a part of me is relieved he feels that way, that he feels so deeply for me.
“There’s been a wide open space inside me since we placed Samuel and I left you behind. But, from the moment I came back, it’s slowly been filling up.”
He goes quiet at my words. Several moments pass before he speaks again. “One day, that space will be full. I swear, with everything I have in me, I will make sure it’s overflowing and that you never feel empty again.”

Michel’s Review
Aurora Rose Reynolds takes the readers back to Cordova, Alaska. Cordova is a small fishing community that revolves around the summer fishing season. During the winter there isn’t much to do. This small close knit community is the ideal place if you are looking for peace and quiet. After a nasty divorce Shelby Calder is ready for peace and quiet. She wants to raise her ten year old son, Hunter, in Cordova. She wants to return to the home that made her happy until she ran because of her own personal demons and Zach Watters.
Zach and Shelby were high school sweethearts that ended up with an unwanted pregnancy. After grueling deliberations and truthful insights into their lives, they chose to give their son up for adoption. It crushed them both and they didn’t have the maturity to handle all the emotions and despair that went along with the decision.
Fifteen years later they are both now mature adults. They can look at their decision from a different perspective. They both have their own children now and know all the responsibilities that go along with parenting. They both may be parents but they are both also single. Neither Zach nor Shelby has been able to love completely like they did when they were teenagers.
Zach and Shelby have their second chance. A chance that not only will fulfill their lives but their children lives as well. Everything is possible in Wide Open Spaces… including a bear for breakfast.
Aurora Rose Reynolds once again delivered an emotional, charming second chance romance. I loved every moment I spent with Zach and Shelby in Cordova. I can’t wait to see more of them in the upcoming book in this series. Their daughter is getting married. Another great romance coming from Cordova and Aurora Rose Reynolds.

About Aurora Rose Reynolds
Aurora Rose Reynolds is a navy brat who’s husband served in the United States Navy. She has lived all over the country but now resides in New York City with her Husband and pet fish. She’s married to an alpha male that loves her as much as the men in her books love their women. He gives her over the top inspiration everyday. In her free time she reads, writes and enjoys going to the movies with her husband and cookie. She also enjoys taking mini weekend vacations to nowhere, or spends time at home with friends and family. Last but not least she appreciates everyday and admires it’s beauty.
One night I was out with my girls enjoying a much needed ladies night while wondering if one more dirty martini would push me over the edge. The next thing I knew, I was in the club’s bathroom listening to a woman screaming, “No,” and a man’s voice growling, “I know you want it.”
That asshole picked the wrong restroom, in the wrong club, at the wrong time.
Little did I know the asshole was Cade’s VP, and although we saved that woman from his clutches that night, she’d be found floating in a motel pool a month later.
Running a PI firm is a lot harder than taking pictures for one, especially when your professional life spills over into your personal one. I’m going through cupcakes like our new puppy goes through piddle pads, and if I’m not careful there’s bound to be a Cupcake Overload.
I like my books angsty and full of emotion as much as the next person, but sometimes you just want to kick back with a read that takes things a little easier, one that is a pure feel-good book that makes you smile. The Cupcake series by author Bethany Lopez does just that, and CUPCAKE OVERLOAD, the second book in the series is just as delightful and as much fun as the first book was.
Lila Compton is back at it again, doing what she does best. As a PI, she’s keeping plenty busy with the cheaters and philanderers that seem to run rampant in her small town, but this book brings a little something extra. When a young woman that Lila and her girls ‘rescued’ from the clutches of a gnarly biker dude shows up face-down in a swimming pool, Lila is immediately on the case. Things are a little trickier, because said biker dude is none other than the VP of Lila’s hot times a billion lover man, Cade, and is claiming innocence. With Cade and the ladies on the trail, things are as crazy as one might expect, but, as always, amidst all the action, Lila is still making time for her beloved cupcakes.
I am thoroughly enjoying this series, due in large part to the author’s wicked sense of humor that is apparent in every interaction, in Lila’s inner dialogue, and in the shenanigans that abound. Bethany Lopez continues to write Lila as a self-sufficient, I’m not afraid of anything kind of woman, and her antics are a trip to follow. Throw in the lovable group of friends, her two endearing kids, and Cade, the man that shows her what it means to be cherished, but in a totally hot kind of way, and you’ve got a winner. I’m always looking forward to another book in this series, and give this one a solid 4 stars for keeping me super-interested, super-hungry (because, cupcakes!), and super-entertained. If you’re looking for a fun series with non-stop laughs and action, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Michel’s Review
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Deacon Carver, the legendary player in Thatch series has fallen hard for a woman he can’t stand. A woman that betrayed his best friends, used her brother, and has returned home to use them up once again. Charlie Easton may be one of his best friends little sister but she is not going to win him over.
Like most things, there are always two sides to every story. What Deacon perceives as betrayals are Charlie’s burdens to carry. The love of her life is dead, he broke her heart and left her pregnant and alone. He used her, dumped her, and was engaged to another woman before he died suddenly. He never had a chance to meet his son. That was the beginning of more betrayals to come. Her mother gained custody of her child and abandon them both. Her brother gained custody and forced her to go away to school while he raised her son. Now she’s finished with school and back in town. She’s determined to get custody of her son and make a good life for them both. She never anticipated Deacon Carver changing her carefully mapped out plans. She has trust issues and a notorious player isn’t going to change them.
Both Charlie and Deacon are both going to experience changes in their lives. These changes are for the better. They are both going to learn to love and trust with their full hearts. A beautiful little boy is going to gain a real family that only a super hero can appreciate.
Show Me How was a great addition to the Thatch series by Molly McAdams. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

And don’t miss the first book in the Thatch Series…
Grey and Ben fell in love at thirteen and believed they’d be together forever. But three days before their wedding, the twenty-year-old groom-to-be suddenly died from an unknown heart condition, destroying his would-be-bride’s world. If it hadn’t been for their best friend, Jagger, Grey never would have made it through those last two years to graduation. He’s the only one who understands her pain, the only one who knows what it’s like to force yourself to keep moving when your dreams are shattered. Jagger swears he’ll always be there for her, but no one has ever been able to hold on to him. He’s not the kind of guy to settle down.
It’s true that no one has ever been able to keep Jagger—because he’s only ever belonged to Grey. While everyone else worries over Grey’s fragility, he’s the only one who sees her strength. Yet as much as he wants Grey, he knows her heart will always be with Ben. Still they can’t deny the heat that is growing between them—a passion that soon becomes too hot to handle. But admitting their feelings for each other means they’ve got to face the past. Is being together what Ben would have wanted . . . or a betrayal of his memory that will eventually destroy them both?
In the second standalone book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Molly McAdams’ Thatch series, Knox Alexander must convince his long-time love Harlow Evans that they’re meant to be together.
He promised to wait for her.
She told him he was wasting his time.
Not waiting for him ended up being the biggest mistake of her life.
When they were younger, Knox Alexander swore to Harlow Evans that he would wait for her to turn eighteen so they could be together. But that was two and a half years away, and Harlow couldn’t ask him to give up all the fun and thrills of going away to college for her. As the years passed, Knox remained a constant in her life but when her eighteenth birthday came around, Harlow’s heart belonged to someone else.
Every day for the last four years, Harlow has been haunted by that fateful choice. And though he may appear unaffected by what happened in their past, Knox has always tried to fill the void Harlow left. But when he comes stumbling back into her life and refuses to leave, will Harlow finally let him into her heart…?

About Molly McAdams:
Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
Too fast, too furious-and way too hot to handle . . .
Mackenzie Cox has a lot to prove. Daughter of a racing legend, she is eager to show the world that she has inherited her father’s talent in the male-dominated sport of professional motorcycle racing. The last thing Kenzie needs is to be antagonized by her rival team’s newest rider, Hayden Hayes. Plucked from the world of illegal street racing, Hayden immediately gets under Kenzie’s skin. His insinuations that Kenzie is a spoiled princess who was handed her career fuels her desire to win, and much to her surprise, Kenzie soon learns she performs better when she’s racing against Hayden.
As Kenzie and Hayden push each other on the track, the electric energy between them off the track shifts into an intense–and strictly forbidden–attraction. The only rule between their two ultra-competitive teams is zero contact. Kenzie always does her best to play by the rules, but when her team slips into a financial crisis, she has no choice but to turn to Hayden for help. The tension simmers during their secret, late-night rendezvous, but Kenzie has too much to lose to give in to her desires. Especially when she begins to doubt that Hayden has completely left his street life behind…

Furious Rush by S. C. Stephens is a winner.
Mackenzie Cox has a lot to prove in the world of motorcycle racing. Living in the shadows of her father, a racing legend, being a rookie in the sport as well as being the only female on the Cox Racing Team, is pure pressure. To make matters worse the Cox Racing Team is about bankrupt. The major financial problems could make or break the existence of this legendary team. Their rival competitors are the Benneti Motorsports team. There is more to it than being competitive teams, there is bad blood between them. The owner Keith Benneti is her father’s worst enemy.
Mackenzie’s rookie year has her in a complete tailspin. Her main competition is Hayden Hayes, a former street racer that rides for the Benneti team. She hates that she is immensely attracted to the enemy. There’s more to Hayden than his illegal racing past. He revs her motor in many ways. His influence makes her a better rider.
With Hayden’s sketchy past and position on the opposing team, he is off limits. Plus Cox Racing is experiencing sabotage every race day. Is Hayden behind it? Is Benneti Motorsports behind it? The sabotage will ruin what is left of the Cox Racing Team.
When her father learns she is fraternizing with the enemy, it could very well ruin Mackenzie’s position on the team as well as her career in racing. When she’s forced to do the unthinkable to save Cox Racing. She has more to lose more than her position on the team. She may lose everything she holds dear.
Once again S. C. Stephens delivered a red hot book loaded with pure angst. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

“A great book to read on a hot night.” -Kelly Akemann, This Wacky Momma Reads!
This Entangled Teen Crush book contains multiple PDAs, after-school detentions, and gambling on the side. Warning: betting on a boyfriend is bad for your health.
Zoe Cain knows that Grant Evertide is way out of her league. So naturally, she kisses him. Out of spite. Not only is Grant her brother’s number-one nemesis, but he has zero interest in being tied down to one girl. She’s shocked—and secretly thrilled—when they start spending more time together.
Zoe’s brother claims Grant is trying to make her his “Ringer,” an oh-so-charming tradition where a popular guy dates a non-popular girl until he hooks up with her, then dumps her. Zoe threatens to neuter Grant with hedge clippers if he’s lying but Grant swears he isn’t trying to trick her. Still, that doesn’t mean Grant is the commitment type—even if winning a bet is on the line.
Each book in the Boyfriend Chronicles series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed our of order.

Zoe Cain is ready for her new school. Starting her junior year at the exclusive private school , Wilton Academy, should be a breeze. Her brother Jack, a senior has paved the way. Being a local rather than one of the privileged doesn’t bother Zoe in the least. She’s there to get a good education and maybe make her brother a little bit miserable. After all that’s what siblings do.
The first day starts out on the right foot. She meets her brother’s worst enemy, Grant Eventide. To make matters worse she kisses him. Let the fun begin.
Zoe’s brother Jack wants her to stay away from Grant. Grant’s ex girlfriend wants Zoe to stay away from Grant. Zoe’s best friend encourages her to hang out with Grant. The school is taking bets on what comes next for Grant and Zoe. Is Zoe destined to be a ringer, the girl that gets used by the popular boy and dumped when it’s time for the dance? Jack thinks so. Zoe doesn’t care. Grant is intrigued with Zoe, she keeps surprising him. All bets are on Grant. Zoe is placing her own bet on herself.
Grant doesn’t really want a girlfriend this year. He can’t stay away from Zoe. She sees him for who he really is, not who he’s supposed to be.
Zoe is confident enough to handle her junior year and Grant Eventide. He’s worth the daily detentions.
The Boyfriend Bet by Chris Cannon is a sure thing. It’s the perfect back to school book. I’m betting all the readers are going to enjoy this sassy romance as much as I did.
Haley Patterson has had a crush on golden boy Bryce Colton for ages. But when she hears a rumor that he hooked up with her she gives him a choice: be her boyfriend for a month to show other guys that she’s dateable—despite her overprotective and very intimidating brothers—or deal with the angry, cage-fighting boyfriend of the girl he actually did hook up with.
Bryce didn’t know the other Haley even had a boyfriend. He was just trying to get his ex off his back. And now, not only is he being blackmailed, he’s being blackmailed by an honor student. His new “girlfriend” has two three-legged dogs, her father mows grass at the country club, and she’s…well, difficult. And different.
Can something so fake turn into something real?

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains references to drinking, sexual situations, adult language, and an intense bad boy hero who will melt your heart.
Annie McFarland is sick of being a shy nobody. A session at summer camp seems like the perfect opportunity to reinvent herself—gain some confidence, kiss a boy, be whoever she wants to be. A few days in, she’s already set her sights on über-hottie Kyle. Too bad her fear of water keeps her away from the lake, where Kyle is always hanging out.
Jacob Fazio is at Camp Pine Ridge after one too many screw-ups. Junior counseling seems like punishment enough, but the rigid no-fraternizing-with-campers rules harsh his chill. When a night of Truth or Dare gets him roped into teaching Annie how to swim, she begs him to also teach her how to snag Kyle.
Late-night swim sessions turn into late-night kissing sessions…but there’s more on the line than just their hearts. If they get caught, Jake’s headed straight to juvie, but Annie’s more than ready to dare him to reveal the truth.
Michel’s Review
Monica Murphy can write a love story for every generation. She has a talent of creating characters and a compelling story that any reader of any genre will enjoy.
Daring The Bad Boy is the perfect teen romance. A shy girl meets a troubled boy. Both are at summer camp for very different reasons. Annie wants to overcome her shyness and become a more social person. Jacob has been in trouble since his mother passed away. He has been ordered by the court to work at his uncle’s summer camp or do time in juvie.
Jacob is focused on staying out of trouble. One of his uncle’s hard rules is to stay away from the campers. When he meets Annie, he can’t help but be intrigued. In many ways she doesn’t quite fit. In other ways, she stands out among the girls at camp.
When Annie persuades Jacob to give her swimming lessons and help her with another boy, a friendship begins. A friendship that leads to love. A love that could be trouble for them both.
Monica tapped into her inner teenager and delivered a book that all teenagers can relate to. I would highly recommend this book to girls ages 13 to 16 years old. It is the perfect sweet romance that any parent would approve of their daughters reading.
