A Fairbanks Affair by Katy Regnery is the third book in the Odds- Are – Good Series. This Alaska themed romance series is a pure joy to read. Katy Regnery has a gift of creating engaging, fun, sexy, and emotional romances that today’s contemporary woman can relate to. When I read the synopsis for this book my first thought were a thirty year old virgin woman was a bit far fetched but once the reader meets Faye Findley it all works.

The first thing that caught Faye’s attention while waiting in the dentist office was The Odds -Are -Good magazine opened to the personal classified. How could she ignore an ad that read….

Impossible for Faye resist an add like that. She has been so focused on her career that she overlooked her basic personal life. She concentrated on keeping the family business going after her parents deaths and raising her younger sister. She made her choices, the company has grown and become the leading alcohol distributer throughout the world. She sacrificed her personal life while her relationship with her sister has become strained do to work. Ten years has taken it’s toll on her relationships. When she sees the Fairbanks personal add it gives her an opportunity not only to “take care of necessary personal business” but also acquire another distillery. The New Year is going to be more than a celebration filled with fun sex, lost virginity, and fireworks but also an eye opening emotional lesson in learning how to connect intimately with other people. They will both learn to come to terms with the past and strained relationships. The best lesson of all is learning how to love completely and learning to accept love unconditionally.
