I’d sworn off men. And then I met Nick Christiansen. Technically, I fell for him, literally, the moment I landed in his quarterback-sized arms and looked into those soulful eyes. I blame the rum. Or was it tequila? Spoiler alert: It was those delectable dimples. Either way, Nick was stupidly handsome and ridiculously charming. He held me like he cared and listened to me like I mattered. Captivated by great conversation and rock-hard abs, Nick had me reconsidering the “No Men” promise I’d made myself.
I still regret walking away the next day. ~ I can’t stop thinking about the one who got away. But then I run right into Natalie St. James. She’s still unwittingly gorgeous, if not more so, and as wildly quirky as I remember. Sidebar: She’s on a date. What do I expect? For her to still be thinking about me? I still regret what happens next. We didn’t get the love story we deserved the first time, then I screwed up our second chance. When the universe shifts and our stars realign, is the third time a charm?
New York Times and USA Bestselling Author, S. L. Scott, was always interested in the arts. She grew up painting, writing poetry and short stories, and wiling her days away lost in a good book and the movies.
With a degree in Journalism, she continued her love of the written word by reading American authors like Salinger and Fitzgerald. She was intrigued by their flawed characters living in picture perfect worlds, but could still debate that the worlds those characters lived in were actually the flawed ones. This dynamic of leaving the reader invested in the words, inspired Scott to start writing with emotion while interjecting an underlying passion into her own stories.
Living in the capital of Texas with her family, Scott loves traveling and avocados, beaches, and cooking with her kids. She’s obsessed with epic romances and loves a good plot twist. She dreams of seeing one of her own books made into a movie one day as well as returning to Europe. Her favorite color is blue, but she likens it more toward the sky than the emotion. Her home is filled with the welcoming symbol of the pineapple and finds surfing a challenge though she likes to think she’s a pro.
Aria Saint-James has planned the perfect getaway: sweatpants, takeout and two weeks alone with her sister and nephew. Nowhere on that list is wearing a low-cut dress and uncomfortable heels to attend a wedding where she knows neither the bride nor the groom. Toss in her nemesis, Brody Carmichael, and her road trip to Arizona is officially a bust. But at least there is champagne. She blames the bubbly for falling into bed with Brody that night. Enemy or no, the billionaire is irresistible in a tux. But after their one-night tryst, Aria has no choice but to cut her vacation short, returning home to escape his devilish smile, vowing never to see Brody again. Except Aria gets a surprise a few weeks later–she’s pregnant. When he learns that she’s carrying his child, Brody offers Aria the chance of a lifetime. The catch? She has to live under his roof until the baby is born. Either they’ll kill each other in nine months. Or discover love buried beneath their hate.

The whirl of tires and the hum of an engine filled the air before she could answer. A shiny black Jaguar came down the driveway and my heart dropped.
No. That son of a bitch Brody Carmichael was going to ruin my vacation.
“He’s supposed to be gone.” If he dared encroach on my time with Clara, I’d sneak poison ivy into his bed.
“It’s not his fault.” Clara sighed, quick to defend her boss.
“Did his private plane not have enough spiced cashews for his liking? Surely he can afford jet fuel.”
The second-best part of this week, besides Clara and Gus, was Brody’s scheduled absence. Clara knew there was no love lost between me and her boss, so she’d suggested travel dates that coincided with his vacation.
Yet here he was, parking a car that likely cost more than all of my worldly possessions combined.
Brody parked behind the Cadillac and stepped out of his car, sliding the sunglasses off his face. He wore a navy suit tailored to perfection around his broad shoulders and long legs. In the years I’d known him, I’d never seen him in anything but a suit. Did he not own jeans?
“Brody!” August raced over, holding up a hand for a high five. “Aunt Aria is here. We’re gonna open my presents.”
“I see that.” Brody’s lips turned up in a smile. Barely.
If the man ever learned how to deliver one properly, actually show some teeth, he’d be devastating. Especially with the dark, trimmed beard he’d grown a few years ago. It gave him a sexy edge. Or it would have, if his perpetually sour mood wasn’t such a major turnoff.
He definitely, definitely didn’t turn me on. Oh no.
Broderick Carmichael was enemy number one.

I have inhaled each book in the Runaway series by author Devney Perry, so that FORSAKEN TRAIL was an immediate favorite is no surprise. I loved Aria Saint-James from the moment that she was introduced in QUARTER MILES. That she’s even stronger, even sassier, and more than able to handle herself here in her own book is all that I needed. And that she can more than manage Mr. In Control Bossy Bosserton Brody Carmichael clinched it for me.
That hate thing that Brody and Aria had going on? Yeah, so much unexplored attraction, and when they open the door to each other, talk about a spark…inferno is more like it, and an unlikely coupling becomes the match that neither one expected, but that each needed so desperately. These two that have so much love to share are meant for each other.
I’ve never read the Boxcar Children series that Devney loved and loosely used as a starting point for this series, but I have to believe that she’s done a bang-up job taking the idea and running with it. Each and every character, runaways, or ‘strays,’ as Brody’s grandmother so eloquently put it, has taken a bad beginning and made a life so much richer. Londyn, Gemma, Katherine, and now, Aria, they’ve finally found their people and places, because of the community they were able to forge so long ago. And, coming up is Clara’s and Karson’s story in DOTTED LINES. This book is one of my top TBRs for 2021, and I can’t wait. In the meantime, if you have not read this series, you simply must. And with DOTTED LINES releasing in March 2021, you have just enough time, although I doubt it will take you that long to jump in and fall in love. Happy reading, friends. ❤️

A chance to discover how big she can dream.
And if some of those dreams play out in the bedroom? Well, there’s nothing wrong with a few — okay, several — hot nights together as we hit the beach, visit old stomping grounds, and test all sorts of limits, in and out of the sheets.
Seven days, then I’m off, moving across the country, far away from her.
No way can things get complicated in a week. Ruby and I aren’t the kind of dream that has a shot of coming true.

That was the question rolling around Larissa Mason’s mind just before she asked Hollis Hudson to be her fake boyfriend. It was only supposed to be for five minutes, after all. Granted, that was also before she felt his hand on the small of her back as he charmed the heck out of her family.
She hadn’t heard his laugh yet either.
And it was definitely before she saw the football god shirtless. Otherwise, she would’ve had an idea of just how hard some things could be. It turns out that pretending to be in love with a crazily handsome, somewhat enigmatic, and absolutely unforgettable tight end (that has an amazing tight end) is easy. Reminding herself that just because opposites attract doesn’t mean they’re forever is much harder.
What they have isn’t love—it’s a relationship pact. Right?
About the Author: USA Today and Washington Post bestselling author Adriana Locke lives and breathes books. After years of slightly obsessive relationships with the flawed bad boys created by other authors, Adriana has created her own.
She resides in the Midwest with her husband, sons, and two dogs. She spends a large amount of time playing with her kids, drinking coffee, and cooking. You can find her outside if the weather’s nice and there’s always a piece of candy in her pocket.
“If you two will excuse me, I have to use the ladies’ room,” I say, and point at my empty glass. “Can you ask for another martini for the road?”
“High altitude,” Jeannette warns me. “Two more and you’ll be showing your favorite pair of panties to the entire restaurant—and this time you won’t be able to claim it was an accident.”
She cackles and I think she’s the drunk one of the two of us.
“Bitch,” I growl and march to the bathroom thinking about how I’m going to get back at her.
I swear she’s so loud, a few tables around us hear her and give me the look. Maybe I should tell her wife some embarrassing stories from when we were young. There’re plenty of those. That might keep them around for a couple of hours—at least one more hour. It’s too early to go back to the hotel.
On my way to the restroom, I try to come up with the best one. Then pull out my phone to see if I have any old pictures. I don’t pay much attention when I enter the restroom, put away my phone, and enter the stall. After I’m done and while I’m washing my hands, I know exactly how Jeannette is going to pay for what she just did.
“Well, this is either a treat or the worst invasion of my privacy.”
I jump and shriek. My heart beats fast but I spin around toward the unexpected male voice. I’m not sure where I should concentrate my attention, his handsome face or the thick and meaty treat he’s holding in his hand.
Yummy, talk about girth and length.
“Wait, what are you doing in the ladies’ room?”
He laughs while putting away his well-endowed package. “I didn’t know they had urinals in the ladies’ room.”
“In the what?” I shriek and look around the bathroom.
And fuck if this isn’t worse than the airport. It’s Jeannette’s fault. She distracted me.
“Oh well,” I say, smiling. “I leave you with your …”
“You should show me something to make up for what just happened,” he says, with a hinting tone. “You know a tit for tat.”
“What?” I cover my boobs. “No.”
“Come on, at least show me those lacy panties everyone saw at the airport.”
“How do you know about my panties?”
“You and your sister don’t know the definition of inside voice,” he says and my cheeks heat up. Well, I gave a show to the entire restaurant. “At least, I think she’s your sister. You two could be twins, you know.”
“We are twins,” I clarify. “And no, I won’t be showing you anything.”
He winks at me. “You liked what you saw, we could have a party with him as long as you’re willing to share.”
A smart and sexy romance about a grumpy single dad on a mission of revenge, and the girl he can’t leave behind by USA Today bestselling author Tia Louise.
Hope
I blame the alcohol.
I lost my restaurant business, was forced to sell my dad’s cherished 1967 Chevy Impala, and I got a little drunk.
Now I’m waking up with the hottest, angriest guy I’ve ever seen, speeding down the highway like a bat out of hell.
Ice-blue eyes hit mine with stomach-clenching force… and he swerves onto the shoulder, ready to kick me out.
Needless to say, our romance doesn’t start out sweet.
J.R.
Two years ago, I hugged my little boy goodbye and told him I’d be right back.
Next thing I knew, I was arrested and sent to prison for a crime I didn’t commit.
Until they let me out early…
Now I’m headed home to confront the man who put me away.
A lie put me behind bars, and I’m ready to find the truth.
I don’t have time for a sexy girl with pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes stowed away on the backseat of my new car.
My mission is to get my son back and clear my name.
Love is not on the agenda.
It never is, though, is it?
(THIS MUCH IS TRUE is a single-dad, opposites attract, STAND-ALONE romance. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)
Tia Louise is the USA TODAY best-selling, award-winning author of super-hot and sexy romances. All her heroes are alphas with hearts of gold, and all her heroines are the smart, sassy ladies who love them.

HARD TO SCORE I should hate her. Isn’t that what I’ve been told time and again over the past ten years? That Brexton Kincade’s father is the reason for the demise of my family? But when I watch her stride across the football field all this time later, I feel anything but hate.
HARD TO LOSE It was a simple letter lost in transit. A thank you and an apology received five years too late. Something about that letter from the baseball pitching phenom turned enlisted soldier, wouldn’t let go of Chase Kincade. She had to know how his story ended.
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love.
A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions.
Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.
With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. This place isn’t run by the doctors who make you talk or the orderlies who force you to swallow your pills.
It belongs to them, to the Infamous Four.
Tabloids, talk shows, documentaries—their faces have been plastered everywhere. Not because of their impressive rap sheets, but because of how they look.
And when I arrive, they take notice. Especially their king: Lincoln “Laces” Caster.
He’s dark and disturbed.
He’s controlling and possessive.
Exactly the kind of boy I should stay away from if I want to clear my name and get out of here.
*This is an upper-YA bully/dark romance not intended for readers under seventeen. This book may contain triggers for some readers.
