There are those authors whose books and series you love so much that you never want them to end. Kristen Proby is one of those authors for me. Every time I read one of her books, no matter the series, I’m excited to hang out in really special places with characters that have become like friends, because Kristen writes friend groups and families really really well, and the fine folks of Huckleberry Bay, Oregon, are no exception.

I have had a special affinity for Juniper Snow since the very beginning. She’s strong and sassy and takes no nonsense from anyone, especially not Apollo Winchester, her nemesis from waaay back. But, what’s this? Why is it suddenly so difficult to dislike Apollo? And why isn’t he the same jerky guy that she remembers? The plot thickens…

Kristen does a lovely job of telling June’s and Apollo’s story, making Huckleberry Bay even more beloved, and a place that I want to spend more time. Thankfully, we will get more, with CHERRY LANE, Zeke’s and Cherry’s book, which is headed our way very, very soon.
