a story that demands the pages be turned.” – Lauren Blakely
“I am willing to submit to Blake anytime. Lili Valente writes hot, hot, hot!” -Sawyer Bennett
* * Warning: This book features a big, tattooed, Dominant alpha male—give him your trust and he’ll command your pleasure. All. Night. Long.* *

He needs to purge her from his heart, and he’ll do whatever it takes to be free.
Erin Perry’s been burned by love and she’s not ready to put her body under a man’s control, let alone her heart. But then Blake shows up, the only man she ever truly loved. Blake is ruthlessly handsome, and seething commanding energy that has her aching to submit.
To be pleasured, tamed, owned, and put under His control.
Lili Valente has slept under the stars in Greece, eaten dinner at midnight with French men who couldn’t be trusted to keep their mouths on their food, and walked alone through Munich’s red light district after dark and lived to tell the tale. These days you can find her writing in a tent beside the sea, drinking coconut water and thinking delightfully dirty thoughts.

Moody and difficult, brilliant and beautiful, Kes scared me and he protected me. He could be incredibly hurtful and incredibly thoughtful. He wasn’t perfect, but he was perfect for me. He challenged me, he took me out of my safe little box and showed me the world could be magnificent. He was everything I wasn’t.”

Aimee Anderson is ten when the traveling carnival first comes to her nice little town. She doesn’t expect her world to change so completely. But meeting Kestrel Donohue puts her life on a different path.
Even though she only sees him for the two weeks of the year when he passes through her home town, his friendship is the most important of her life. As a child’s friendship grows to adult love, the choices become harder, and both Kes and Aimee realize that two weeks a year will never be enough…
He’d grown taller. Not as tall as his grandfather yet, but nearly as tall as my father. His shoulders were wider and I could see his biceps pushing through his ragged t-shirt, but he was still on the thin side, wiry, I guess. He looked stunning, like he should be in a boy band—you know, the bad one that makes all the parents fear for their daughters’ virginity.
I watched him out of the corner of my eye as I turned to study the competition. I had to admit it wasn’t looking good. The girl was taller than me and wore a low cut tank top that showcased a lot of cleavage. Her boobs were no better than mine, I decided—there was just more of them on show. So whereas I looked safe, nice you might say, she looked dangerous. Her arms were covered in colorful tattoos, her ears pierced five or six times each, and she had silver rings through her lip and eyebrow. Her face was hard, but beautiful, even caked in makeup.
I guessed she was maybe two or three years older than me, it was hard to tell.
As if she felt my gaze on her, she swung toward me, her eyes blazing.
“No rubes back here!” she yelled. “Get the fuck out!”
I was shocked that a complete stranger would speak to me like that. I froze, my eyes darting to Kes. He turned to look at me, his frown of annoyance changing to a warm smile.
“Chill, Sorcha,” he muttered. “The shrimp’s a friend.”
I wanted to laugh. I wanted to cry. He was pleased to see me, but so dismissive. I stood there with my mouth hanging open. And then I was in Kes’s arms, breathing in the scent of sweat and soap and something like fresh hay that was so familiar.
“Hey, kid! How you doing?” he said, as he led me away.
His voice had deepened. No longer childlike, it was a light, pleasant tenor.
“Don’t call me kid!” I snapped, punching his shoulder.
He laughed and rubbed the spot where I’d hit him. His dimple popped out and I wished I’d hit him harder—then kissed him better.
“Okay, not a kid,” he smiled, but then I watched his eyes darken as they drifted down my body, pausing at my chest, then doing a slow sweep along my legs and hips. “No, not a kid,” he said again, and this time his voice was gruffer.
Michel’s Review
This book was brought to my attention while I was signing up for another blog tour. The cover caught my attention. When I read the synopsis for the book I knew I wanted to read this book. When the ARC was delivered to my kindle I had to start the book immediately. From the very first page I was hooked. I could not put the book down. I was mesmerized by the characters and their story. After I finished the book the I could not stop thinking about it. It was such a special, magical kind of story that captured my heart and imagination. Traveling Man was a 6 star book and made the 2015 Favorite List.
Imagine living in rural America, in a very small town where nothing ever happens. A town that is full of simple minded people and ordinary life. A town where excitement is non existent. Then one day a caravan of huge trucks rolls through town stirring up the dust. These trucks are not just passing through, they are stopping at an old abandoned farm. They are bringing a magical world to this small town. The carnival has arrived. Magic is in the air. The excitement level has escalated from zero to ten. For two weeks this sensation is going to breath life into this small world.
Aimee Anderson is celebrating her tenth birthday. She has been granted a special wish. She can celebrate her birthday anywhere she wants. She has watched the trucks roll through town. She knows the only thing she wants is to feel the magic the trucks have brought to her small world. She wants to go to the carnival.
Her birthday wish is granted and she is going to the carnival. She could of never imagined that the one wish would give her the most precious gift of a lifetime. She has been given the gift of a life long friendship and ever lasting love from a boy that ispart of that magical world. She has been given Kes Donohue, the boy extraordinaire. For two weeks every year, she will get to leave her ordinary world in the background and become a part of the world that Kes belongs to. For two weeks every year she will experience friendship, magic, excitement, and love.
Kes and Aimee come from two completely different worlds. Her world is structured. Aimee is smart and lives in a world of books. She has a stable home, a predictable family, and a predictable life. Kes lives in an RV. He travels the country throughout the year. He doesn’t attend school. His family consists of his grandfather, his older brother, their pet monkey, and fellow carnie friends. At a young age he became a showman and dare devil. There are not many children in his world and he has no friends. When he sees Aimee at the carnival absorbing all the wonders that most people don’t see, he knows he wants to share his world with her. He wants Aimee to share her world with him.
These two ten year old children form a deep friendship in less than two weeks. Their families are reluctant to allow the friendship because of how different their worlds are. Both families will see that this friendship is special and is beneficial for both the children. With reluctance they will allow this friendship to flourish.
Kes and Aimee will spend two weeks every summer together for six years. They will grow from children to young adults. They will change throughout the years. They will discover new feelings that are much deeper than their friendship. They will discover love.
Their sixteenth summer will bring their friendship to a halt. Their hearts will be broken and their lives torn apart. It will be the end of their magic.
For eight years Aimee and Kes will be traveling on new paths in their lives. They will become adults and begin new careers. They will be in control of their own destinies. They have both changed drastically. They are no longer the children with wonder in their eyes. That is until the magic hits them once again… their paths will cross once more. Can they bring their two separate worlds together and create the magic once again?
Traveling Man was mesmerizing. I love books where the readers get to experience the characters coming of age. Experiencing the characters go from childhood innocence to the angsty teenager and finally the full grown adult is like watching yourself grow through the pages. Being able to experience that first kiss and first love is magical.
Jane Harvey- Berrick captured the world of the carnival. Throughout the book I felt like I was right there with the characters. I could feel the smallness of Aimee’s world. I could feel the electricity in the air. I could smell the hotdogs in the air, I could taste the funnel cakes, and I could feel the excitement like it was electricity in my bones. I became a part of the book. She also brought her characters to life and the reader felt every emotional moment.
I absolutely loved Traveling Man! I cannot wait for the next book.
I lived in London for over 10 years and have a love affair with New York. It’s only since I have moved to the countryside, that the words have really begun to flow.
I live in a small village by the ocean and walk my little dog, Pip, every day. It’s on those beachside walks that I have all my best ideas.
Writing has become a way of life – and one that I love to share.
As an elite Alliance agent—the joint undercover operation of MI6, the British Secret Intelligence Service, and the CIA—Ford Decker lives for the adrenaline. But when he befriends sexy property manager Shay Alexander in hopes of finding her cousin, a known national security threat, Ford crosses the line, getting to know her better . . . in bed.
After being burned by her last relationship, Shay wants to take things slow. Yet she can’t keep her hands off the drop-dead gorgeous hottie who’s moved into her apartment building. So when Ford’s identity as an undercover agent is exposed, his betrayal cuts deep. Shay never wants to see him again, but Ford can’t let her go, not when her life is still in danger. He will sacrifice everything to protect her, then be prepared to walk away from the only woman he’s ever loved, even if it breaks him.
A lab employee and vial of deadly toxin go missing. Chatter of a deadly release is picking up. A mission to acquire the target goes horribly wrong, suspiciously, with too much malfunctioning hi-tech equipment to missing intelligence.
Ford’s new landlord is the young employee’s cousin. He gets close to her in hopes of gaining intel, or so that was the original plan… under the guise of an IT tech, he’s finding it harder and harder to lie to her. Soon enough, his lies will catch up to him. Add to all of that, there’s a mole in the Alliance group and a very rich and well-connected uncle spinning some tall tales.
The characters are intriguing and the plot pulls you in with strong dialogue, believable interaction and plenty of dynamics. The flow of the story is smooth, however there are a few small parts that seemed a bit slow or unnecessary. The mystery and thrills continued to the end with virtually no predictability. The conflicts were met with mature and timely resolutions and the conclusion was mostly solid. There were a few minor, secondary threads that were left a little loose, but I would not classify it as open-ended and it definitely did not have a cliffhanger. Overall, this was a very good book and I enjoyed reading it very much.

Excerpt
Grabbing her roughly by the arm, he hauled her back until she was flush against him, her back to his front. Grinding his erection into her ass, he lowered his lips to her ear. “You think you can push me like that and I won’t respond?” He taunted, nipping her ear painfully. She let out a low moan, her body beginning to betray her.
“You’re mine. I won’t share you, and I’ll be damned if I let anything happen to you, Gwyn. The sooner you get it through your head that I own you now, the better.” His hand trailed down her body, cupping her aching pussy through her shorts. Feeling her heat, he groaned. Dragging them backwards, he hit one of the tall trees, his hands coming up to brace her shoulders.
“Brady, please,” she begged. Her body was a slow fire, desire taking over every part of her being. This man and his fierce possessiveness of her awakened a darkness in her she didn’t know existed. He pinched her nipples roughly through her thin shirt, her back arching against him.
“You want my cock, sugar? Right here out in the open?”

Meet the Author
Cassia Brightmore is a new indie author. Her debut novel, Malevolent is the first book in the Darkness Series and can be read as a standalone.
Writing has always been a passion of hers and publishing her first novel is truly a dream come true. She enjoys writing dark stories that she hopes will thrill the reader. When she’s not reading she can be found playing xbox one, watching re-runs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and catching up on Revenge and Scandal. She also has an unhealthy obsession with Jon Snow from GOT (but who doesn’t??).
She lives in Grimsby, Canada with her two furbabies, Harley and Molly.
Rearranging your cheating boyfriend’s family jewels isn’t a crime—unless your boyfriend is an Arizona state senator. And he happens to have a bullet in his chest.
Caught at the scene of the crime, Maggie Mae Castro is the only suspect, and the only one who saw the senator’s real killer—the skank ho he was cheating on her with.
FBI Special Agent Clive Poole has been shadowing the senator’s every move for nearly a year. He’s wanted Maggie from afar and knows she didn’t kill the senator, but with temptation close enough to touch, it’s now his job to protect her from danger.
Maggie finds herself falling for a man who knows everything about her, from her juvie record to her shoe size. But when they learn the senator was not what he seemed, and Maggie becomes the target of not one, but two killers bent on hiding their secrets, keeping Maggie safe is going to be even more difficult for Clive than sticking to his “hands off” policy.
Warning: Contains inappropriate make-out sessions, flying bullets, a senator with secrets, designer shoe abuse, and a vegetarian Special Agent who’s incredibly attracted to a woman who slathers her bacon cheeseburgers with PB&J. We’re talking about Maggie Mae Castro here—you never know what’s going to go down.
Micro Novella, under 100 pages.
She’s been framed for murdering (and desecrating) her ultra-conservative senator boyfriend. He’s been surveilling the Senator for nearly a year and knows she’s not the killer. There’s a certain Stephanie Plum-esque vibe going on here. Surprisingly, there’s a full story packed in so short a page-span! The characters are likable, the dialogue is witty and smart, the plot is complete and full, it flows smoothly. The conflicts are resolved with little predictability. There’s a satisfying conclusion to this particular “episode”, with more to come. A fun, quick read!

Tara Malone is having one of those lives. Born to Oscar award-winning actor, Anthony Malone, and model-famous beauty, Veronica Scott, she should have it made. But her curvy figure and out-of-control frizzy red hair are just the start of her many, many issues. Now to make matters worse, she’s started out her week by running over model, Justin James, with her car. She had a lot of fantasies about the cover model, but never did any of them include vehicular assault.
Justin James doesn’t have time for two broken wrists, but neither does his over-achieving family. He can’t open up his fridge or unzip his fly without excruciating pain and no one else has the time to help him. Tara already shot him down at the accident scene, but maybe he can work this so that the curvy bombshell has a reason to hang around for a bit. He’s not above using guilt if it means he gets to know her better.
The first in a new series of novellas inspired by Shauna Kruse’s photography and her beautiful male models.
The Male Model Chronicles.
Disclaimer: The Male Model Chronicles, a new fictional series, built around the real-life world of Kruse Images & Photography and the gorgeous male models that Shauna Kruse gets to immortalize in her photos. The heroes are real people who also happen to be male models, but every single other thing about the series is fiction.
Justin by Christi Snow is a delightful contemporary romance. It is the first book in the Male Model Chronicles series.
One accident brings two unlikely people together. When Tara Malone accidentally runs Justin James over with her car while searching her phone for coffee,it seems as if fate has stepped in. Rather than being angry, Justin is mesmerized by the beautiful woman kneeling over him in the street.
Tara offers to help Justin with his health care needs as well as everyday life needs. Her demanding boss is out of town and she has time on her hands.
Justin and Tara have an undeniable chemistry that smolders throughout the book. Not only are they sexually attracted to one another, they also genuinely like one another.
Tara’s demanding boss will interfere with their time together. The results only make it better for both of them. Tara will grow as an individual. Justin will find that he is falling head over heels for the first time.
Justin was a feel good book. I loved both of the characters. I love their intellectual chemistry as well as their sexual chemistry. One of the best parts of this book was that Justin was a cover model for romance books. Tara was an avid reader of these books and appreciated Justin’s work.
I am looking forward to the next book in the Male Model series by Christi Snow.
Christi Snow is a fantastic writer. I have read and reviewed several of her romantic suspense books. She knows how to add the right amount of romance, the right amount of sexual tension, a solid plot, and endearing characters. Don’t miss out on her books.

About Christi Snow
As an avid reader my entire life, I’ve always dreamed of writing books that brought to others the kind of joy I feel when I read.
But…I never did anything about it besides jot down a few ideas and sparse scenes.
When I turned 41, I decided it was time to go after my dream and started writing. Within four months, I’d written over 150,000 words and haven’t stopped since. I’ve found my passion by writing about sexy, alpha heroes and smart, tough heroines falling in love and finding their passion. I’m truly living the dream and loving every minute of it.
My tagline is…
Passion and adventure on the road to Happily Ever After. I have to admit, I am loving this adventure!
The first full length Gypsy Brothers novel from the smash hit author Lili St Germain.
How much is a life worth?
I grew up in Colombia, the daughter of a wealthy drug lord. I lived a life of extravagance, until one day a drug run went horribly wrong and everything came crashing down around us.
I was given away. A payment for a debt. The Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club became my new owners, and I did everything I could to survive.
But falling in love with the man who owned me wasn’t part of the plan…
‘This isn’t a fairytale,’ Dornan said wryly, as he watched her bring the soup-soaked bread to her mouth.
She paused with the bread in her hand, looking around the room in mock surprise. ‘You mean, we’re not Beauty and the fucking Beast?’
He laughed.
‘Well, you’re certainly beautiful,’ he said.
‘And you’re definitely a beast,’ she countered, pushing her empty bowl away and resting back on the bed.
‘But there’s no happy ever after for you,’ Dornan added, his eyes trailing over the chains to reach the cuffs that were now permanent bracelets on her wrists.
‘No,’ she said evenly, matching his intense gaze. ‘Not for any of us. Not in this world.’
Lili writes dark romance, suspense and paranormal stories. Her serial novel, Seven Sons, was released in early 2014, with the following books in the series to be released in quick succession. Lili quit corporate life to focus on writing and so far is loving every minute of it. Her other loves in life include her gorgeous husband and beautiful daughter, good coffee, Tarantino movies and spending hours on Pinterest.
She loves to read almost as much as she loves to write.
Raised on fairytales and dreams of true love, Arden Winger left for college with a smile on her face and a happy, hopeful heart. Fast-forward seven years and that small town is behind her, but not the baggage she’s been carrying since she left.
Just a city boy…
It’s not that Exton Alexander had anything against relationships—he just never had the desire to try. Not necessarily jaded, Exton considered himself a realist. Little did he know, the one woman that would change everything was about to rock his world. This Alpha male knows the second he lays eyes on her that Arden is special– now he just has to work past her defenses.
Strictly Temporary is Volume One. Volume Two will arrive in February. Arden & Exton’s story will be resolved in book two- but the temporary series will continue after that with different characters.
The bartenders in the VIP section are incredibly attentive and within sixty seconds of placing my order I’ve got a chocolate martini in my hand courtesy of a girl who looks like she should be a runway model as opposed to a bartender. Color me skeptical that the drink is going to be even halfway decent. Taking a sip, I let out a low moan of pure pleasure as the perfect flavor spreads across my tongue and I mentally scold myself for judging a book by its cover. She isn’t just a bartender—she’s a mixologist.
I hear a groan at the same moment that I feel someone standing right at my back. It sends a shiver through me as I lower my drink.
“I’ve never wanted a chocolate drink before,” a deep and incredibly sexy voice growls against my ear, “but listening to that moan made me want ninety of them.”
I have no explanation for why my nipples immediately become so hard that they could chip diamonds, nor do I know why I’ve got goose bumps. I’m reasonably sure that the reason my panties are damp is because whoever he is, he smells like liquid sex. Straightening my back and mentally erecting my barriers, I turn to tell the man with the fuck me voice to take a hike.
As soon as I’m turned to him, I realize my error. He was too close to begin with and now, I’m right against him, looking at a pair of sexy as sin lips. Suddenly my own feel desert dry and I lick them as I continue staring at his mouth and jaw line. Sweet holy hell—this man’s DNA could be bottled and sold for millions. I’m not even seeing all of his face and already I know that’s he’s beautiful.
A jostling from behind pushes him forward forcing us up against each other—enough so that I can feel that he’s semi hard. My breath leaves me in a whoosh, as my panties get even wetter, and my inner voice is now screaming at me to run—far and fast. Taking a deep breath I raise my free hand and set it on his chest, pushing him back from me. “Don’t touch me,” I snap.
Lifting his hands to his side so that I can see them he says, “Don’t be angry, Beautiful. I didn’t mean to close in on you like that. I just wanted to meet you.”
I am liquid just from listening to the husky tone of his voice, and it both annoys and terrifies me. Lifting my eyes up to check out the rest of his features, I shiver as I get a good look at the man before me. He’s well over six feet tall with jet-black hair and cognac colored eyes that are sending a very sexual message. Licking my lips, I try to think of something to say, then stop dead when my brain finally engages and I realize that I’m staring at Exton freaking Alexander.
Yes, you read that correctly.
I am face to face with one of the biggest playboys in Hollywood, Exton Alexander.

Reagan can’t believe her luck—and not in a good way. One minute she’s hanging out with her friends at an exclusive party in Las Vegas. The next, she’s attracted the attention of a famous actor. Not just any actor. Declan Carter, the man on whom she used to—okay, might still—have a fangirl crush. Whose blue eyes leave her embarrassingly tongue tied.
All Declan wants is to meet a nice, normal woman who won’t use him as a stepping stone to fame. Something about Reagan tells him she could be that rare woman, and he follows his instinct to invite her back to his suite—where they proceed to have wild monkey sex. All. Night. Long.
What was supposed to be one night of no-regrets sex stretches out into a blissful weekend of two people who can’t get enough of each other. But when the glamour of Sin City wears off, they’re standing on the edge of a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn a weekend fling into something lasting. Will they take the jump?
Warning: Smokin’ hot sexy weekend with a gorgeous actor? There shouldn’t be a warning—more like encouragement to indulge your fantasies!
Reckless Nights by Karen Erickson is the first book in the Vegas Nights series. It is a sexy short story about a sensual weekend in Vegas. It is the kind of weekend where fantasies come true. It is weekend where memories are made. But does the old saying “What Happens in Vegas, Stays In Vegas” ring true? I think that Reagan and Declan walked away from their wild weekend with more than a pocketful of winnings.
Reagan and her girlfriends head to Vegas for a wild, fun filled weekend. They need a break from their stressful jobs in the ER. They are looking to let their hair down and live in the moment.
Their trip starts out with a hitch. The airlines has lost their luggage. Luckily fate has a way of stepping in. They meet a gentleman that invites them to an exclusive Vegas party and helps them pick out the perfect clothing for the party.
Reagan has the opportunity to meet her favorite movie star, Declan Cater, at the party. There is an instant attraction and chemistry between the two. What starts out as a one night stand turns into a wild weekend.
Can both of them leave their weekend behind in Vegas or is this the beginning of something wilder than a Vegas fling?
Reckless Nights is a story story that is novella length. I would of liked for this story to have been longer. I felt that the character development skimmed the surface and we didn’t really get to know who they really were. The chemistry and bedroom scenes were sizzling hot. That was the main focus of the story. I would of liked to see these two lovers develop more of a relationship outside of the bedroom. The story was too short to develop the intimate connections of the heart and mind.
Reckless Nights was a sexy fast paced story. There were enough teasers about the other characters in the series to keep the reader interested in the series.
Karen Erickson is a talented writer. Whether she is writing contemporary romance or in the New Adult genre (aka Monica Murphy), her books are sexy, romantic, and entertaining. Her characters and their stories come to life. Their stories capture the readers attention and keep them entwined in their books until the very last page. She is one of my favorite authors and never disappoints.
