Grab yourself a cold drink ladies because this little novella is smoldering. I think I might need to catch something on fire so Smith can come over and put it out.

Burn For Me is an angsty love story filled with passion and hope for more. Jamie and Smith have always been good friends and even though she finds him sinfully sexy she is reluctant to act on those feelings. Why? Well because ever other woman in town feels the same way and how can she compete. She is also afraid of losing Smith as a friend. They have an easy banter and she looks forward to seeing him every day. If they were to become more than friends and he walked away it would crush her. What happens when Jamie gets this crazy idea in her head about a friends with benefits scenario that would only last one week. Could it work? Could she give into the attraction and get Smith out of her system? Maybe.

Smith is crushed that Jamie only wants him for one week. He has been waiting for the opportunity to become more than friends for quite a long time. His jaw drops to the floor when Jamie makes him this crazy offer. He knows he only has one week to show her he can and will be the only man she will ever need.

Lauren once again does an amazing job with character development and while this story is a novella it reads like a complete novel. She is a master at not rushing the ending and that is what I love about all of her books.

Lauren does an excellent job bringing together two very broken people and giving them a second chance at love. The kind of love that consumes you day after day and night after night. She shows us the true value of trusting another person with everything you have and everything you are.

Clay Nichols will melt your heart and your panties all at once. If you like your romance hot and steamy with a lot of dirty talking and sass you will love After This Night.

Is it possible, you might ask, to love Clay Nichols more than we already did after seeing him in all of his glorious hotness in ‘First Night’ and ‘Night After Night’? Oh my goodness, yes, yes, and YES again! Not only is it possible, but I challenge anyone to resist this man now.

When Clay left Julia Bell in San Francisco after she refused to open up to him about certain things going on in her life, he was determined to leave her behind for good. Having been burned in the past, Clay has zero tolerance for anything less than full disclosure. He heads back to New York, ready to resume his life without Julia. But love has a funny way of changing things, and neither Julia nor Clay is able to go back to ‘LBL’ (life before love), so Julia finally decides to risk everything and let Clay in. Is it all beautiful sunsets and happy times for them after this, though? No, because, what fun would that be? There are, of course, a few obstacles to overcome, but that’s what makes happy times that much more so, and the making up that much hotter. As an added bonus, we get to see Blakely characters that we know and love from other books, which made this story that much more enjoyable.

Lauren Blakely consistently writes characters and stories that draw you in and make you a part of the world she has created. She is definitely one of my go-to authors, and has really outdone herself with ‘After This Night.’ I cannot recommend this book, along with the rest of the ‘Seductive Nights’ series more. Grab this one now; you won’t be sorry.

“What will you do?”

Review – 5 Scorching Hot Flames

Get ready to fan yourself ladies. Clay Nichols is a sinfully sexy dirty talking lawyer that will have your panties soaked.

Night After Night is an insanely sexy and erotic fantasy. Clay and Julia have an insane amount of sexual chemistry. You cant even imagine that they could walk away from each other after an experience like that. But, Julia does not even walk. She runs. She has demons that she refuses to let anyone see.

Clay is stunned. He can’t get her out of his head. They had two amazing weekends together, or at least he thought they were amazing, so why would she run away. He tries to get her out of his head but he can’t. He knows that she feels more for him then she is letting on. There is no way that this was only about sex.

Julia is devastated. She did not intend to let Clay into her heart. She can’t stop thinking about him and because she cares more for him then she intended she cannot let him in on her secret. She will not put him in danger. The problem is that her secret is destroying any relationship that she might want to have with Clay.

Lauren weaves a very sexy tale about two lovers that are hiding their true selves from one another. She again masterfully develops two very complex characters that are not destined to have a happily ever after. Oh, my goodness, holy hotness! Clay Nichols is one sexy-as-all-get-out alpha man. He is smart, super-hot, and as dirty-talking as they come, and I couldn’t be happier. Julia Bell is strong, sassy, and in control, which is just the way Clay likes his women. Together, they are on fire.

We first met Clay and Julia in ‘First Nights.’ At the suggestion of McKenna, Julia’s sister, Clay stopped into Julia’s bar on a business trip to San Francisco. Their chemistry was immediate and off-the-charts, and they spent one passionate night together before going their separate ways. Except it wasn’t as easy as they expected, as neither one could stop thinking of the other.

Before long, Clay and Julia begin a scorching long-distance affair, fueled by their intense desire for each other. Their relationship quickly becomes about much more than just sex. Their initial attraction leads to the knowledge that they want more from their relationship, that they want to get to know each other better and make things work.
