Mia Sherman is a real firecracker. As owner of Lavender and Lace, Lonesome Point’s answer to Victoria’s Secret, she’s busy selling sexy lingerie to tourists that come to visit her small town in Texas. Sawyer Kane is in town to make a bid to help renovate the ghost town that is part of Lonesome Point’s history. When Mia and Sawyer meet, it’s fireworks galore. It’s hot and steamy from the get-go, and never lets up.

Jessie Evans does small-town romance like nobody’s business. Her characters are always unique, vivid, and likeable, and the communities that she paints are places that seem like home. In addition to Jessie’s signature love story, ‘Leather and Lace’ brings intrigue and an old family ‘curse,’ as well as a loveable and zany group of supporting characters to the table (it doesn’t hurt that Sawyer is a sizzling hot cowboy, either!).

Jessie keeps upping her game, stepping out into multiple genres, hitting the mark every time. The Lonesome Point books are no exception, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Five stars all the way!

Jessie Evans gave up a career as an international woman of mystery to write the sassy, Southern romances, and sexy, New Adult romances she loves to read.

She’s married to the man of her dreams, and together they’re raising a few adorable, mischievous children in a tree house in the boonies.
