He claims that he can’t protect me if he falls in love with me.
Crowne Jewel, an all-new bodyguard, enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance from New York Times bestselling author C.D. Reiss is available now!
Protect me at all costs.
That’s the mission my father placed on Anton Markov—my new bodyguard. Shield me from a ruthless, faceless stalker. The menace hijacked my online presence, levied chilling threats my way, and promised to unleash a barrage of damage to me personally and professionally.
There’s one problem with Anton.
It’s simple. I despise him.
He stole everything years ago—my heart, dreams, and dignity.
With a four-line farewell note stuck to my kitchen table, he broke my heart and almost my spirit.
But it seems Anton has his own collection of grievances over what happened in New York, and he’s not willing to let them go.
It’s complicated. He hates me.
As my stalker escalates his threats, Anton and I are thrust closer together.
His smoldering good looks, irresistible charm, and unwavering dedication to my safety blur the line between lovers and enemies.
He claims that he can’t protect me if he falls in love with me. With the danger closing in, we’re about to put that theory to the test.

Does it count as cruel and unusual punishment if you’re forced to be a movie extra with your enemy?
You’re So Extra, an all-new enemies-to-lovers, forced-proximity, romantic comedy with a hint of suspense and the first standalone book in the Finding You Series from USA Today bestselling author Angela Casella is available now!
Does it count as cruel and unusual punishment if you’re forced to be a mavie extra with your enemy?
Lucas
I figured being a movie extra would be a harmless distraction—a way for me to forget that my life is imploding and I’m the one who pulled the trigger. But it turns out ninety percent of being an extra is sitting around, so I have nothing to do but dwell.
Worse, I have to spend every last minute on set with a woman who’s connected to the incident that sent my life off course. I’m determined to help her, thereby evening the scales of justice imbalanced by my parents, but Delia Evans is so sunshiney and naïve and…
Well, extra.
And, to my utter astonishment, I find myself wanting more of her.
***
Delia
It seemed like fate when I got hired to be in this movie. My high school crush is the lead actor, and judging by the number of times my mother has accused me of being dramatic, I’m a natural actress.
Only it turns out my former crush is a jerk, being an extra is shockingly boring, and I’m paired with a man whose last name ensures he’s my enemy. Lucas Burke is gorgeous, but even if he weren’t a Burke, I could never fall for such a conceited know-it-all.
Or at least that’s what I think until accidents start happening on set…
Have you ever wanted to prove someone wrong so badly that you could taste it?
It doesn’t matter if they’re right. The fact that they had the audacity to say it is what counts.
Hi. It’s me. I’m that person.
The man I’ve been casually seeing told me I’m not “wife material” and should “lower my expectations”. Didn’t he realize I lowered them the moment I met him for dinner?
Obviously not.
Am I petty? Maybe. Annoyed? Of course. Determined? Definitely.
I need someone to help me flaunt my new engagement—my fiancé couldn’t wait to pop the question because I’m that amazing—in his face.
The problem? I don’t have a boyfriend, let alone a husband-to-be.
Which brings us to you.
Are you handsome? Successful? A smooth talker extraordinaire?
Are you willing to do all the things that someone madly in love would do?
Putting your hand on the small of my back. Forehead kissing. Acting like I’m a treasure you can’t live without. I need you to be prepared to do all those things … and maybe more.
What do you get out of this? I’m willing to negotiate terms—especially if they include a job and a place to stay. It’s a long story.
One night. One event. Let’s put on one heck of a show.
From USA Today and Amazon Charts Bestselling author comes a “hot and hilarious!” fake-dating tale between two frenemies that turn into roommates, coworkers, and, ultimately, lovers. Fans of close proximity, one-bed trope, and blue-collar, small-town heroes will fall madly in love with this story.
About the Author:
USA Today Bestselling author, Adriana Locke, writes contemporary romances about the two things she knows best—big families and small towns. Her stories are about ordinary people finding extraordinary love with the perfect combination of heart, heat, and humor.
She loves connecting with readers, fall weather, football, reading alpha heroes, everything pumpkin, and pretending to garden.
Hailing from a tiny town in the Midwest, Adriana spends her free time with her high school sweetheart (who she married over twenty-five years ago) and their four sons (who truly are her best work). Her kitchen may be a perpetual disaster, and if all else fails, there is always pizza.
How can he convince her falling for him won’t crush her heart?
Though Nick Mancini flirts with her like it’s his second job, Kate Andrews tries to ignore the sexy construction worker. How could he be interested in her? Not that long ago, he was in love with Kate’s best friend, Faith. His muscled body and sexy dimples are hard to resist, but Kate refuses to be anyone’s rebound girl. Been there, done that, burned the road map.
Trouble is, Kate does believe love at first sight. But it has to be a two-way street, and she’s convinced she and Nick are destined to crash and burn.
Nick can pinpoint the exact moment he gave up on Faith, and really saw Kate for the first time. He’d ticked her off and she’d been seriously angry. He’d looked right into those flashing green eyes, and he was a goner. He’s pretty sure Kate feels the same way, but despite their off-the-charts chemistry, she rejects him at every turn.
But Nick is nothing if not persistent and the longing looks she sneaks his way don’t lie. She wants him, too. For Nick to break through Kate’s barriers, he’ll have to throw out the original blueprint and come up with a whole new plan. One that takes him off guard and cements their future.

Yep, Amy has totally brought her usual bombshell of a read with LOVE ME TODAY, the first book in her new Time River series, and I am SO here for it.
I have to be honest, I fell in love with Evelyn first. Amy writes kids so well, and Evelyn is one of my favorites so far. Her sweetness, her resilience, the unbounded love living within her beautiful little self, had me falling fast and hard.
And Caleb. There’s just something about a dark, dangerous, and broken man, and he is all three. Who could resist trying to save them? Not Paisley Dae, with her own resilience, her sass, her spark, and her big heart. These two have the whole opposites attract thing going on, and it is just explosive.
LOVE ME TODAY has elements of a small town story, with plenty of suspense, making for a great angsty read ribboned through with sweetness. And I am already so invested in seeing the rest of the gang get their happily ever afters that I can hardly wait for their stories to roll out. In the meantime, LOVE ME TODAY is a must-read for fans of small town romance with just the right amount of drama and intrigue, so make sure that it’s on your TBR and enjoy. ❤️

I’m damn good at my job.
So if I swipe my boss’s event invitations from time to time, it’s kind of like a much-earned bonus. He’ll never miss them, and I get a five-star free meal in the company of men in well-fitted suits.
But then he shows up at an award’s dinner that I’m most definitely not supposed to be at.
Lucky for me, when my boss accuses me of stealing his ticket, a hot swoony man in a tux steps in and says, “She came with me.”
Now I owe the stranger one, which is totally cool.
Until I discover the hot, swoony man is none other than Steele Sebastian, a rich man with a penchant for scandal.
And the way he wants me to pay him back?
Let’s just say that Steele Sebastian has a reputation as a dirty filthy billionaire, and I’m about to find out why.

Here’s the thing—will Donovan fire me for using his discarded invites without his permission? No. Will he reprimand me? Also, no. Will he take advantage of my desire to attend these functions and put me to work at future events? No, probably not. In fact, he’d probably pat me on the back while giving me one of his infamous smirks and tell me how to get a hold of his partners’ discarded invites as well. Donovan and I are two of a kind like that, which is the real reason he keeps me around, not my awesome PA skills. It’s not always easy to find company while walking semi-ethical lines. But this is my thing. My thing that has nothing at all to do with who I am during office hours. It’s personal and private and sort of embarrassing, when I think about admitting it out loud, because it’s not just about getting free food. Hell’s Kitchen apartments take a fair amount of my salary, but Donovan pays well. I can afford to go out. I just don’t really want to go eat solo in expensive restaurants. People stare and whisper. Not that I care what they think, but it’s distracting. It’s much easier to be a solo at a business function. Maybe my plus one is involved in the actual event. Maybe they canceled, last minute. Maybe I’m there purely because of work, and no one whispers or stares or judges, and waiters don’t give me pitying comments, and strange men don’t (usually) take it as an opportunity to hit on me. It’s a perfect hobby, as far as I’m concerned, and I’ll be damned if it’s taken away because of the hazel-eyed assface who sat at my table, who is the sole reason I’m out in the lobby at the same time Donovan is. I have half a mind to turn around and go tear that too-hot-for-his-own-good fucker to shreds, and I would if my boss wasn’t looking at me like I’m a lifeline. I quickly try to make up a backstory. “Uh, Donovan…I’m…” Try and fail. “Hi. You’re here.” He waves to a security guard then points at me, which…okay. Maybe I was wrong thinking he wouldn’t be mad. He really doesn’t have to go so far as to bring security in. But though the guard is eyeing us, he doesn’t make a move, letting Donovan approach me. “Hey, I’m looking for Sabrina. Do you…?” Donovan trails off, and I can see that I misjudged the situation, because it’s just now that his expression becomes suspicious. “What are you doing here? Did you use my ticket?” “No!” The denial was too obvious, but I’ve chosen my path. Now I have to walk it. “No. Of course I didn’t do that. I just. I’m, um, here—” Suddenly, an arm slips around my waist. “She’s here with me. It’s okay, Simone. We don’t have to keep it a secret.” I look up to see it’s none-other-than the antagonizing prick from the ballroom, and I’m both shocked and…aroused? I mean, I’m not into being rescued. By anyone. Ever.

There are those authors whose books and series you love so much that you never want them to end. Kristen Proby is one of those authors for me. Every time I read one of her books, no matter the series, I’m excited to hang out in really special places with characters that have become like friends, because Kristen writes friend groups and families really really well, and the fine folks of Huckleberry Bay, Oregon, are no exception.
I have had a special affinity for Juniper Snow since the very beginning. She’s strong and sassy and takes no nonsense from anyone, especially not Apollo Winchester, her nemesis from waaay back. But, what’s this? Why is it suddenly so difficult to dislike Apollo? And why isn’t he the same jerky guy that she remembers? The plot thickens…
Kristen does a lovely job of telling June’s and Apollo’s story, making Huckleberry Bay even more beloved, and a place that I want to spend more time. Thankfully, we will get more, with CHERRY LANE, Zeke’s and Cherry’s book, which is headed our way very, very soon. So if you haven’t visited this beautiful little town, now’s the time to jump in and fall in love. ❤️
