Enrapture by Rachel Van Dyken
Trace is everything.
My freaking world.
And I would do anything to keep her safe.
But, I can’t protect her from every kind of evil..and I can
no longer keep the past a secret…
We were left folders.
Each one filled with the sins of our pasts.
And Traces grandfather just asked us to read his.
There was no preparation.
And now I’m wondering if I should have let the love of my
life read it at all, because some things can’t be unsaid, some words stay with us forever.
I know, from this day forward, nothing will ever be the same.

EXCERPT

“Would you like to see the rest of the house, Joyce?”

“Why do you do that?”

“Do what?” He frowned.

“Say my name every time you address me.”

Luca quickly averted his eyes, something I’d seen him do possibly once in all our time we’d known each other — right before he’d invited me up to his apartment and made love to me for the first time. He was nervous.

“Luca?” I prompted.

“Because…” His voice was gruff. “…I don’t get to say it often enough — your name.” He licked his lips, his eyes still staring hard at the dirt clinging to his polished black Prada shoes. “If I said your name every second of every day for the rest of my life, it still wouldn’t be enough. Saying your name is like saying a prayer. Sometimes, I think it’s the only prayer God hears these days. Your name is a promise, a vow. It’s also a reminder that no matter what hell I’ve gone through, heaven still exists.”

The Initiation by Kristin Vayden
hurt
 It wasn’t blood in…no out.

It was death the moment were initiated with the mob and a living hell from that moment on. I knew, because it was my hell. But I wanted…no I needed out.

I had watched it suck the life from my father till nothing was left but the ashes from betrayal, and I wanted more.

So I made a deal, one that got me shot. But the nurse made up for the injury—Daphne had always teased my dreams, out of reach but close enough to tease me with the fantasy of what if. But what if…was now my reality and there was no way I was giving it up.

So I called in a favor…to the Mafia.

Made a deal with the devil, to save my soul.

And if it works, I’ll die…so that I’ll have a chance at really living.

EXCERPT

“Love is never simple, sweetheart. There’s complications, obstacles, decisions that must be made, priorities that have to be established… but when it’s real love, you’ll find everything will fall into place because love puts the other ahead of itself. Love replaces fear with faith. It destroys indecision with loyalty, breaks through every barrier because it’s stronger, wiser, more courageous than anything else you’ll face, because from that point on, you face everything together.”

ICE by Elise Faber
One night of weakness five years ago turned out to be the
biggest mistake of Laila’s life.
The sex with her coworker, and then commander, Ryker had
been hot. But the ensuing strain of having to work with him, having to see him
seduce and sleep with other women tore her heart from her chest and crushed it
beneath his military-grade boot.
Now they’re on a mission together and she’s running command.
Her damaged heart would like to make him pay, but her body isn’t so sure,
especially when Ryker apologizes and tries to make things right between them.
Can Laila put aside the past, if it means another chance — a
real one this time — with Ryker? Or will those old wounds never heal? And when
their mission goes awry, will they even survive to have a shot at that future?
Excerpt
He wrapped his arms around her in return, maybe a little too
low for a friendly hug.
But with Laila sprawled out atop him, reminding him how
perfectly they fit, it was impossible to not grab her hips and bring her even closer.
She melted for a moment then, as though suddenly coming back
into herself — or probably feeling the erection he had no hope of hiding —
released him.
“Really?”
“Wish I could say it was a one-off, but it’s a pretty common problem for me when you’re around.”

I bit.

I tasted.

I fell.

Synopsis

This book is the sixth book in the internationally bestselling Eagle Elite Series. It’s an interconnected stand alone novel with no cliffhanger.

Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married–I offered to shoot her.

Ten hours before our wedding–I made a mockery of her dying wish.

Five hours before we were going to say our vows–I promised I’d never love her.

One hour before I said I do–I vowed I’d never shed a tear over her death.

But the minute we were pronounced man and wife–I knew.

I’d only use my gun to protect her.

I’d give my life for hers.

I’d cry.

And I would, most definitely, lose myself, to a dying girl—a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first place.

I always believed the mafia would be my end game–poisoning my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would be my redemption.

Or the beginning of something beautiful.

The beginning of her.

The end of us.

EXCERPT

“And . . .” She held up her hand like she was doing a damn countdown! “You’re kind of, like . . .” She leaned forward and whispered, “A bit . . .” Her eyes teased. “Metro.”

“As in . . . ,” I baited her.

“Feminine,” she snapped. “Yup, that’s the word. And Max, I mean that in the nicest way possible.”

“You mean . . .” I licked my lips, then slapped the water. “In the kindest way you can possibly say it, ‘Oh, look, Max has boobs’? Or you mean it in the way that says I lack the proper sexual magnetism to get your engine going?”

Becca rolled her eyes. “Hey, I didn’t come here to fight. I was just going to go over our date for tomorrow without the watchful eyes of Big Brother.”

“Hmm.” She was looking down at her feet. So I did what any desperate man who’d just been insulted in the worst way possible would do. I grabbed her feet, dragged her into the water, creating a huge splash, and then, when her head popped up for air, I gave her something else.

My tongue.

Kissing Becca could become a very nice, very addicting . . . pastime. Her lips were soft, pliant, but her hands were beating against my chest. Ah, classic move. Listen up, men: women fight us because they’re expected to. They have to put up the fight so they don’t come off as easy. So the next time a girl hits you in the chest, go with it, kiss her harder. It just means she wants more, especially when her chest is heaving and her tongue is doing . . . that. Yeah, exactly. Oh. Hell. Damn. Kill me now. When her tongue is doing that? Becca’s tongue pushed against mine and then she sucked.

I felt said sucking all the way through my body.

When she stopped fighting me, I wrapped my arms around her neck, pulling her as close against me as I could, and then pulled away.

Her eyes furrowed with confusion as she tried to lean forward.

I pulled back again, and swam her over to the ladder.

“Thanks, Becca,” I whispered. “I needed a little motivation.”

“M-motivation?”

“Game on.” I helped her up and followed. “And by the way . . .” I grabbed her hands and moved her flat palms from my chest all the way down to my waist. “I’m anything but feminine. Have a good night.” As I walked away, I did what any sane man would do. I paused so she could get her fill and realize that yes, I was, in fact, still naked. And when I heard her gasp, I turned around and saluted her in more ways than one.

Point. Max.

THE gang is back and they are out to get Max.  After his colorful shenanigans that may have saved Jason from Bridezilla but permanently scarred Reed, the gang feels Max may need an intervention.  They need to save him from himself.  They have found the perfect way to save Max from his disastrous one liners.  He needs a new direction.  They have found the perfect thing that can straighten Max.  They have entered him to become the next bachelor on a reality series.
But as we know, Max is a very good sport.  Even when he has to endure the worst kind of physical known to mankind.
Even though Max is a metro man, he firmly believes he can survive on a deserted island with 25 eligible females looking to catch Max hook line and sinker.
Max is a superior man.  He is fearless, well mostly fearless, unless there is a goat in the vicinity.  He can handle a snake in his pants.  He can handle being mauled by a pine nut eating Amazon.  What he can’t handle is goats, cats, and his brother.
But Max is resourceful.  He enlist one of the contestants, Becca, to be his partner in crime.  He’s determined to come out of this 21 day fallacy on top.  It’s a win win situation for both of them.
Max’s adventure will have you rolling on the ground holding your stomach because it hurts so bad from laughing.
Reed is going to infiltrate the enemy camp to help bring his brother down.  After all Max did sic granny on him.  Max deserves payback.
The gang will show up in the final episodes to help Max pick the perfect date.  What happens next will have all of them trying to #SAVEMAX.
The grand finale will shock Max just as much as it does the readers.  But like I said, Max is a resourceful kind of guy.  Max always wins in the end.
Yes… Reed is still reliving the trauma from the first book.  Jason may have gotten free from Bridezilla but he’s still getting bruises left and right.  I think these two guys need their own kind of “Consequence” therapy.
Rachel Van Dyken has proved that she is a multi talented writer.  She has given readers intensity, dark thrillers, emotional angst, and now romantic comedy.

Michel’s Review

I loved The Consequences of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken!  It was one of the craziest and insanely hysterical books I have read in 2015.

Milo is dreading going home for her brother Jason’s wedding.  One, she hates the bride. Two, she has been in love with her brother’s best friend Colton all her life.  Three, Colton doesn’t see her as a girl or woman, he sees her as one of his buddies or his best friend’s little sister.  But duty calls and Milo is heading home for the dreaded wedding weekend.

The weekend quickly turns into a major fail….

Here’s some hints for The Consequences of Loving Colton….

One crazy best friend decides to pose as Milo’s finance.

Crazy best friend, Max, might be a manwhore or he might be gay.

Crazy best friend Max has a solution for everything.  He is a problem solver.  The only problem is for every problem he solves it seems to create three new ones.

Milo’s mom has become a Wedding Commando.  She forces her troops (aka family) into the deep trenches of making the perfect wedding.

The groom Jason may not survive the weekend.  Literally, the guy is walking on death row. By the end of the weekend he is going to either be dead or look like he’s gone ten rounds with Muhammad Ali after being hit by a semi truck.

There is Bridezilla that makes Maleficent look like a heavenly angel.

There is a dragon slayer present but is clueless how to get the princess.

There’s the horny gun toting grandma that has set her sights on the gorgeous actor that was enlisted to ruin the wedding and destroy Bridezilla.

The gorgeous actor, who may be crazy best friend Max’s brother has been damaged for life after the queen of the cougars makes her play.  He’s forced to do drugs and hide in a tree.

The motto for the weekend… “Be The Doughnut”

All of this is …. The Consequence of Loving Colton!

Read the book!

I am looking forward to the sequel to this book… The Consequence of Revenge.  A certain crazy best friend named Max is going to get a taste of his own medicine.

Chapter One

Milo

Four years later

I gripped the steering wheel with both hands. Actually, I would have gripped it with my teeth, toes, and ankles had my brain actually fired fast enough to send the message: Red alert! Red alert!

Instead, mouth dry, I just sat there like an idiot.

I couldn’t think of anything to say to make it better—anything. I couldn’t even give the guy a smile, which really was a shame considering it was my best asset.

“Milo!” Colton tapped the door of my light-blue Mercedes. “You look good.”

I blinked. Well, I thought I blinked, I wasn’t really sure. The car was still running, you’d think I would at least have enough sense to take my foot off the pedal and put it into park, but all I could do was stare. Fantastic. Twenty-one years old and still dealing with sweaty palms because Colton Mathews had said my name.

One thing I was sure of—my mouth was still hanging slightly ajar. Drool would soon follow and then Colton would have just one more reason to make fun of me—Jason’s little sister.

“You all right?” He leaned his muscled forearms against the open window and stuck his head in. Merciful God in heaven, he still smelled the same. His spicy cologne blending with his perfect tan skin would have made any girl pause, or swallow her tongue, or sweat; really, take your pick. “You do realize at some point you need to turn off the car and go inside the house, right, little girl?”

And there it was, I wasn’t any girl. To Colt, I was Jason’s little sister. Nothing more.

It didn’t matter that my boobs cheerfully filled out a C cup or that I’d had my braces off for over seven years. I still wasn’t a woman to him.

God must have taken pity on me, because for some reason, in that instant, when the smell of Acqua Di Gio floated into my car, I snapped out of my insane moment and smiled.

“Fine. Great. Awesome. Perfect. You?” Too many answers, Milo. Too many answers.

Colton chuckled. It was a deep chuckle. The type that makes girls sigh while simultaneously trying to figure out how to get out of their clothes and trap the man into marriage. Seriously. His smile was one that made girls want the condom to break.

Great, now I was thinking about condoms.

Condoms and Colton.

A barking dog interrupted my sexual daydreams. It was Max’s ringtone. “Um, one second.” I put up my finger and shooed Colton away from the window as I pressed “Answer” and let the window close. He smiled, seemingly amused, and leaned against the car.

“How goes the first day of childhood hell, my friend?”

“That depends,” I whispered into the phone, not taking my eyes off Colton as he stood facing the window. He was tall enough that I was basically staring at his lower abs and lower . . . body. Heat flooded my face, informing me without a doubt that crimson decorated my cheeks.

“Why are we whispering?” asked Max, my best friend from college.

“Because we are in the car.”

“You are in the car. I’m at Starbucks.”

“Whatever,” I conceded with a snort, waving my hand in the air flippantly. “And it’s not going well. In fact, I’m pretty sure Colton thinks I have a learning disability.”

“Why would he think that?”

I sighed into the phone and tried to concentrate on anything but the fact that Colton was standing a few inches away from me. So freaking close. “I kind of, sort of . . . blacked out when he was talking to me.”

“So where are you now?”

“We’ve established this. I’m in the car.”

Max sighed. “Then where’s Colton?”

“Outside the car.”

“I’m confused.”

“I’m an idiot.” I groaned and smacked my hand against my forehead. “When the phone rang I closed the window to answer it but now he’s not moving.”

“Well . . .” Max cleared his throat. “I guess there are worse things in life than a hot guy standing outside your window, right?”

“Right.” My voice wavered. “But he’s like facing the door. All of him.”

“All of him?”

“His parts,” I clarified. Swear I felt my entire body go up in flames. Great, so now I was going to hell for looking at his parts. His very nice parts. His yummy, tight, straining—I needed to stop before I gave myself a stroke. “He’s facing the window and leaning against the car and I swear, Max, the whole front of his body is pressed up against . . . my car.”

“Naked?”

“What?” I yelled.

“Well, you said his parts.”

“Not his parts-parts,” I clarified. Shoot me now. Could this conversation get any more awkward? “Never mind, I mean—oh, crap.”

“What? What’s happening?”

I could see Max now, coffee thrust in the air, pacing the Starbucks floor like a crazy person.

“He’s stretching across the car and—” I stopped mid-sentence. “Shit, my brother’s on the other side.”

“Let me get this straight.” Max chuckled. “You have your lifelong crush, who just so happens to be your brother’s best friend, on one side, his parts pressed firmly against your hot little Mercedes, and your brother, who has no idea of this sad infatuation, on the other side, making it possible for you to ogle his best friend’s goodies?”

“Yup.” My breathing picked up as I heard Colton laugh and then his front pressed against my door. “Good Lord, I’m sweating. He’s—”

“Please don’t finish that sentence. It makes me want to puke, and as much as you make fun of me for not having a girlfriend, it’s not because I prefer men, so please . . . spare me the details.”

“Fine.”

“Milo?”

“What?” My eyes were glued to Colton’s hot body as his stomach stretched across an eight-pack straight out of a glossy magazine cover.

“Seduce him.”

“With what?” I whisper-yelled. “I have nothing to offer him!”

“It’s not like I want you to plant a chocolate trail from the ground to your lips, Milo.”

“I know that!” I snapped. “Besides, he’s allergic to chocolate.”

“Please tell me you don’t have his medical history memorized.”

“I don’t,” I lied, suddenly finding great interest in the black leather steering wheel while my shame increased. “Besides, it doesn’t matter. His Facebook profile says he likes blondes. I have dark hair.”

“I’m going to ignore the fact that you stalk him on Facebook and just help you fix the problem. So dye your hair.”

“Yeah, let me just get the hair dye from the backseat, Max!”

“Sheesh, touchy. You, my friend, need to get laid.”

“Tell me about it,” I muttered. “I’m the one stuck in the damn car with nothing but my Kindle[SBK4] and a prayer.”

“Your life makes me sad.”

“Shut up.”

“Seduce him.”

“Again, with what?”

“Your body.”

“I have no body.” I slumped against the seat in a pout. “Besides, I don’t know the first thing about seduction. And he hates me.”

“He doesn’t hate you.”

“I tried kissing him when I was sixteen and he laughed in my face.”

“To be fair, your skirt was tucked into your underwear.”

“Not the point!” I yelled for real this time. Why the heck had I drunk that entire bottle of wine and confessed all my embarrassing moments to Max? The terrible two outside my car began banging loudly on the windows. Great, I’d probably captured their attention when I raised my voice. And fantastic, the car began to move. I’d officially awakened the beasts.

“I’m in hell.”

“Well . . . ” Max laughed. “Don’t let the flames give you a sunburn. I gotta run, just saw my Starbucks barista . . . I will gain a date if it kills me! Oh, and good luck. You’ll need it.”

“Right.” I clicked end and shut off the car.

Nothing was going as planned—that was for sure.

The Bet by Rachel Van Dyken….One Day Sale

“I have a proposition for you.” Kacey should have run the minute those words left Seattle millionaire Jake Titus’s mouth. It’s been years since Kacey’s seen her childhood friend Jake, but the minute Jake mentions his ill grandmother, Kacey is ready to do anything for the sweet old woman. And if that means pretending they’re engaged for her sake-so be it.

But Kacey wasn’t counting on Jake’s older brother Travis still being there. She calls him “Satan” for a reason: she’s never forgotten the way he teased and taunted her. Yet when they meet again, Travis’s gorgeous smile is a direct hit to her heart . . . and Kacey’s more confused than ever. As the days pass, only one thing starts to become alarmingly clear-she never should have accepted Jake’s deal . . .

“You’re pregnant!” she shouted, nearly dropping her tea to the floor. “Oh my heavens! Oh dear me. Oh, Grandma’s going to be so delighted!”

“I’m not—” Kacey argued.

“She’s not telling anyone yet,” Travis interrupted with a devilish smirk. “You know, the media and all that.”

“Oh, oh, oh!” Bets scurried around the room until she finally stopped in front of a few shelves. “Oh honey, don’t you remember when you and Jake used to play house? And Travis…” Bets looked at Travis and pointed. “Didn’t you play with them? Because they needed an extra person to stand in for the…”

“Dog.” Kacey smiled at Travis and stifled a giggle. “He was our dog when we played house.”

“Oh, how nice.” Bets winked at Travis and returned to digging out scrapbooks. “I’m sure I have some pictures we can use for the wedding.”

Kacey, still trying to gain control of her panic, swallowed before asking, “Why do we need pictures?”

“You know.” Bets waved her hand in the air. “For the video montage! You have to have a video montage! They’re all the rage. You know, baby pictures, prom pictures, that sort of thing. Guests love it!”

“But what about Vegas?” Kacey asked in a hopeful voice.

“Posh.” Bets shook her head vigorously. “We’ll pay for the entire thing. And you’ll get married here, at Titus Abbey.”

“Swell,” Kacey mumbled, then glared in Travis’s direction. He was gone. She leaned across the sofa and noticed him in the kitchen opening a beer. Oh, nectar of the gods! Just when she needed something strong the most, and Jake’s family thought she was pregnant.

Oh God. She was going to have to be a closet drinker. She would have to sneak down to the kitchen just to snag some tequila to numb the guilt and pain. His parents were going to kill her, and they would hate her forever. Which meant she actually had to marry Jake and then turn a blind eye to his inability to keep his pecker in his pants. And then she’d start hoarding and buying cats in order to fill the void in her life.

The drinking would get worse. Jake would hate her, and in a final desperate attempt to regain her youth, she’d die on the table trying to get plastic surgery.

This. Could. Not. Happen!

“I, uh, I’m going to see what Travis is up to!” Kacey bolted from her chair and ran into the kitchen.

Excerpt

Once we were on the road, Phoenix chose the correct music for our drive. I say correct because, according to him, one didn’t start the day listening to hip-hop or anything remotely fun. No. Mr. Rogers had me listening to classical music.

Classical.

Mozart, to be exact.

Not that I wasn’t a fan of the arts, but really? It just seemed so against what you would expect from him. He was the bad boy personified; like, if you put his name in the dictionary, right next to it would be “And mothers warned their daughters to stay away, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and that heart wants that body… bad.”

He was all lean muscle and tight abs.

And I could have sworn he had a dimple, but I’d never actually seen it. Phoenix’s dimple was like Bigfoot; I’d seen glimpses in pictures and via rumors, but I had never actually seen it for myself.

One day.

One day I’d catch it and take a mental picture or five. Maybe ten. Needless to say, I knew that if I had one of his smiles, it would be a magical thing.

His hands gripped the steering wheel so hard I had a brief moment of panic thinking he was actually going to rip the thing from the dash and have a breakdown. Sad part? I half-expected it. He wasn’t acting normal… well, he was always moody, but this morning he seemed downright suicidal.

“So…” I tried to zone out the instruments assaulting my sanity. “You went to Eagle Elite, right?”

He was quiet for a minute then gave a swift nod.

“Wow, don’t talk so fast. I almost didn’t get all that.”

And crickets. Again.

I cleared my throat. “You graduate?”

“Sort of.”

“How do you sort of graduate?”

“Did you bring lunch money?” He asked in a tight voice.

I gaped. “Did you just ask me if I brought lunch money?”

He shrugged.

“You’re driving me to school, forcing Mozart on my poor sensitive morning ears, and just asked me if I had money for milk.”

“I’m concerned about you eating. Sue me.”

“Pretty sure the Nicolasi boss can afford to spare me a few dollars for a sandwich and a can of pop.”

“No pop.”

“Who died and made you my grandpa? Seriously. I want to know so I can steal your gun and point it at them.”

“Nobody touches my gun.”

“Which one?” I smirked, hoping he’d find the humor in my sexual innuendo, but who was I kidding? It was Phoenix. He simply grunted, rolled his eyes, and kept driving.

In a moment of pure rebellion, I undid the first two buttons of my white, collared shirt.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” he asked, his voice calm, his eyes still on the road.

“Wow, you really are like a parent. You can see me even when you aren’t looking.”

“Button that shit to your chin before I pull this car over.”

“Put on Jay-Z, and we’ll talk.”

More cursing.

I undid another button.

“Son of a bitch, you’re annoying.”

“Is this our first lovers’ spat?”

“Were there drugs in your toast?” He finally glanced at me, his blue eyes chilling me to the bone. “Be serious. I don’t want to get called into the dean’s office because you’re high.”

“Do I look like I’m on drugs?”

“Is this a trick question?”

PHOENIXDELANGE

Michel’s Review

HOLY EVER LOVING CRAP!  Ember, the fifth book in the Eagle Elite series was INTENSE!

Ember is Phoenix De Lange’s book.  This man is a killer, a rapist, an abuser, a ghost, an enforcer, and a MONSTER.  He has betrayed the family.  He has betrayed himself.  A death sentence is too easy and too painless for Phoenix De Lange.  Redemption is impossible.  Or is it?

Phoenix De Lange never stood a chance in life or in the family.  He was a monster by birth.  His father made him a horrific human being.  His actions betrayed the family.  He almost killed Nixon Abandonato’s ( the head leader of the  families in the United States) woman, Trace Rooks (granddaughter of the Alfero family).  His betrayal brought the Luca Nicolosi, leader of the original Sicilian family to the States to decide the fate of all five families. This should of been his death sentence.  Luca Nicolosi issued a verdict worse than death.  He made Phoenix De Lange a ghost, an enforcer, a protector, and a leader.  He saw that there was redemption in Phoenix De Lange’s soul.  He saw the man that was buried deep beneath the hideous surface.  He saw a man with that craved absolution.  He gave him a second chance.

Phoenix De Lange may still be physically alive and breathing but in his heart he is a dead man.  He cannot forgive himself for his past.  He will put his life on the line every time a family member is threatened.  He will sacrifice himself before he allows any harm to come to his family and friends.  He does not expect his family to forgive or forget.  He continually punishes himself for his past.  He is a haunted man without any hope.  He does not understand why Luca chose him to lead the Nicolosi family.  He does not understand why Luca gave him the key to all of the family secrets.  He does not understand why Luca gave him Bee Campisi ( the Cappo’s, Tex Campsisi, little sister) to protect.  He hates that he wants her.  She is sunshine and rainbows.  She is everything good.  She is everything he does not deserve… and she loves him.  Can he stay away from her and keep her untainted from his ugliness?  Or will she be the final nail in his coffin?

There is a storm brewing within the family.  The Russian’s are on the horizon.  They are threatening the family.  The FBI is knocking on their door.  The Family is about to be destroyed.  Someone in the family is betraying them all.  Phoenix knows who it is, after all he knows all the family secrets.  Can he save the family?  Can he keep Bee from be touched by the war that is coming.  Will he have to kill a man that is one of his brothers?  Will he walk out with his heart as cold as it was or will he succumb to his true feelings for Bee?

Luca saw redemption within Phoenix’s soul.  Now it is up to Phoenix to rise from the ashes and soar.

The war is coming.  The Russians are at the door.  One man will be sacrificed for his betrayal.  One man will pay the price.  Welcome to the family…blood in…no out.

The Eagle Elite series is a complex and intricately woven series.  There are plots within plots.  Each book features a different family and the individual members. They are tightly connected to all the characters throughout the series. The grand plot grows throughout each book.  Ember cannot be read as a stand alone book.  Phoenix De Lange’s story began in Elite and has progressed throughout the first four books in the series.

Phoenix De Lange is a character that has been quite a force throughout this series.  In the beginning he was a monster that deserved to be hated.  He proved that there many layers in his persona.  He has evolved from being the devil himself to a broken man.  My heart broke for him.  I wanted him to find a slice of happiness that could be his and only his.  Rachel gave him a life worth living and a future to look forward to.

Ember set up the next book in the Eagle Elite Series.  The next book is Elude, will release in July 2015.  It is going to be a shocker.
