Roni Loren can write a hot romance like nobody’s business. Her characters are multi-layered, never flat, and always have interesting histories. And the chemistry, oh, my goodness, the chemistry. The relationships are so hot that they sizzle, drawing me into the story completely. Roni does not disappoint in Nothing Between Us, her latest book in her Loving On the Edge series. The themes in Roni’s books are not your everyday garden variety romance, but she always manages to write them with compassion, reality, and, yes, lots of heat. The relationships between Georgia, Colby, and Keats just work, with each of them bringing something to the table that gives everyone what they need. Add to that compelling back stories for all three, dialogue that had me laughing out loud, and tons of raw emotion, and I had a read that I could not put down. I am looking forward to Call On Me, the next book in the series, and give Nothing Between Us 4.5 awesome stars.
