This fun, dynamic series is based on the complications of the modern day dating world, alpha heroes who are clueless with the world of relationships and romance but experts in the bedroom. It takes a strong willed woman to put up with these heroes.

Candice Gaines may seem like a meek heiress spending her time working on one charity after another but that is only a general impression. Beneath the sugar and spice is a strong willed woman who is compassionate, organized, and sensible. She’s very reluctant when she’s recruited to help introduce Charlie Sullivan from the Sullivan Family Tree Farm into the community holiday events and festivities for philanthropic purposes. After a hearing a lot of negative opinions from her “girl posse” she’s inclined to refuse her help. After an unfortunate incident she finds herself guiding grumpy Charlie through the holiday season. He makes the Grinch look cheerful and Scrooge seem generous.

I am so excited about Helena Hunting’s new hockey series. The All In series is a spin off of the Pucked Series with a brand new expansion team located in Seattle. A Lie For A Lie is the introduction to this series and actually takes place in Chicago with all of our beloved Pucked friends and family. The bonus is their world is expanding and readers are going to fall for the sexy new warriors on ice. A Lie For A Lie has set the tone and it was so much fun to read!

Every year RJ ( Rook) goes to Alaska with his brother and father on his off season to do some fishing. It’s the perfect way to decompress after a grueling season. This year is a bit different because his father passed away a few years ago and his brother was unable to attend due to complications in his wife’s pregnancy. By the time he gets the news he’s already boarding a jumper plane heading to his family’s fishing cabin. Damage is book two in the Collateral Damage Duet by Natasha Knight. This duet was fantastic!!!!!

Damage leaves off where Collateral ended. Obviously, I can’t say much more as this story needs to be read without any spoilers but I will say that this story will dive deeper into the Sabbioni’s background and the corruptness that is happening within both Stefan and Gabriela’s families.

The story is riveting! Twists and turns. Drama. Betrayal. I just didn’t know what was coming or how everything would turn out at the end. The writing was flawless. Character development was perfect. I felt that both Stefan and Gabriela really grew a lot in this second book. You see Gabriela grow up and mature a lot. Where she was whiny in the first book, you see her evolve into the role of a mafia spouse.

You really see a different side of Stefan too. In the first book he was ruthless when it came to Gabriela, almost cruel at times, but in this book, you start to see that his feelings for Gabriela go far beyond what he thought was simply revenge on her father. You see a human side to him that you didn’t see in the first book.

Overall, this story is amazing. Worth reading! I’m not much of a mafia book fan but this story was so good. It had so much depth and detail. I will read this author again for sure.

When I first heard about this book and that it was an age gap/forbidden romance I knew I had to read it, what I didn’t know was that this book would be so much more than just a romance story about an 18 years old girl and the crush she had on her best friends dad. No, this story was everything. Beautiful, heartbreaking and completely out of this world.

Violet has spent her life invisible. Born out of an affair, her father wanted nothing to do with her and her mother regretted her. Her sister was the cherished child and Violet has spent her life in the shadows feeling alone and unwanted.

When new neighbors move in next door and she develops a close friendship with Brian, her life finally feels more alive… but it also introduces her to Mr. Edwards… her best friend’s dad.

Graham is harsh. He’s not friendly and carries the name “the beast” for a reason, he’s feared by his students and players. A football coach and single father, Graham is closed off. Cold. Unwelcoming.

On the night of her 18^th birthday, alone and forgotten once again by her family, Violet finds herself drunk and smelling the roses in her best friend’s backyard. This book was fantastic! It had so much depth and substance that it will literally suck the reader in. The characters had real depth and personality, they jumped of the page.

This book will bring the feels for sure. There were so many times that I felt the anxiety that Violet was feeling. I felt her emotions as if they were my own.

The chemistry and development of Violet and Graham is mesmerizing throughout this book. The reader will see true transformation of characters as the story progresses.

This is a 5 star read!!!!

When fates collide and bring Damian and Lilah together again, Lilah discovers that maybe that Damian is what she needed all along… maybe he can be the hero she needs.

This book was very well written! The story flowed and had substance. The characters were developed and carried their own personas which readers will be able to relate to. This book does deal with subject matter of physical and verbal abuse and should be read with that in mind for readers sensitive to these topics.

Dean

I find Lainey in the living room—standing on a ladder, with those long, toned legs peeking out from itty bitty cotton black shorts and a power drill in her hand, while Bruce Springsteen sings “I’m Goin’ Down” from a speaker in the corner.

And, dear God—the things I could do to her on that ladder.

Wonderful, filthy things that instantly make my heart pound and my cock throb. She’s the perfect height for me to just walk over there and put my mouth between her legs. I picture it, see it in my mind—the way she’d grip my hair and pant my name, arch her back and writhe against my face . . .

But then I catch sight of the small bump of her stomach, and reality smacks me in the head. I think about the baby—and how making Lainey lose her mind three feet off the ground wouldn’t be the safest option. My protective instinct overrides the desire to get freaky on the ladder.

“Hey, Dean.” She sets the drill on the ledge and picks up a beeping light green rectangle, running it along the wall.

“What are you doing up there?” I ask.

I don’t have a decorative bone in my body, but the room looks good—with light gray walls and navy corduroy covered couches, reclaimed wood tables and a dozen different-sized candles filling the white-washed brick fireplace. It’s clean and simple but warm, the kind of place you’d look forward to coming back to every day.

“I’m going to hang up those boards.” Lainey gestures to three square planks, with ornamental arrows burned black into the wood. “I just want to make sure this stud-finder works.”

“If you’re looking for a stud,” I wink, “I’m standing right in front of you.”

“Ha-ha. I’ll keep that in mind.”

She turns back to the wall, reaching up over her head and stretching onto her tippy toes on the narrow step. I move under the ladder to catch her if she goes ass over end, and a stab of terror slices through me at the thought that Lainey would still be doing this if I wasn’t here. Alone. Without Jason even in the room in case something went terribly wrong.

What the hell is up with that?

“I read that you’re not supposed to reach above your head when you’re pregnant.”

“That’s just an old wives’ tale.”

I wrap my hands around her hips, holding her steady.

“Maybe the old wives knew what they were talking about. Come on, come down.”

Slowly, Lainey lowers her arms and turns in my hands. I lift her off the ladder by her hips, tilting my head back and holding her above me for a moment, before sliding her slowly down. And the feel of her softness rubbing against me, the friction—it’s fantastic.

When her feet are on the ground, I dip my head and our faces are just millimeters apart. Close enough to count the sprinkle of cute, light freckles that dust the bridge of her nose.

“That’s better,” I say softly, taking the stud-finder out of her hands. “I’ll do it.”

“Okay.” Lainey’s tongue peeks out, wetting her bottom lip. “Thanks.”

Like I said . . . fucking killing me.
