Secrets and lies have a way of weaving a deadly web. Returning home from his last deployment shouldn’t have been complicated, but Jace Kendall was immediately drawn into a murder investigation that hits a little too close to home. The last thing he should be doing was reigniting old passions that should have been kept buried, but he’s never been a guy who plays by the rules.
Shae has suffered for twelve years without knowing why her sister disappeared. The long-awaited answers are now within reach, and she’ll have no choice but to trust the one man who knows more than he’s telling.
It isn’t long before Jace and Shae are lost in the mystery of solving a case that’s long gone cold. When they find the answers they’ve been looking for, a darkness is unveiled that will leave one of them in the crosshairs of a psychopath.

The cup Shae had used earlier was sitting upside down on a dishtowel. She’d washed it out before leaving this morning, allowing it to air dry. It didn’t take her long to fill the cup up with water and set it in the microwave. She pressed the appropriate time that would bring the water to the perfect temperature at which to steep tea— one hundred and seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit. It gave her time to make her way over to the bed to change into something more comfortable. It wasn’t like she was going to see anyone else tonight, and the tea needed time to cool naturally to one hundred and sixty.
Shae had managed to unpack a few items from her suitcase this morning. Her sleepwear, which consisted of shorts and t-shirts, were in the small dresser on the far wall. She rested her hand against the top drawer so she could remove her heels when her mind registered the boots lined up against the wall next to her other shoes.
Bile hit the back of her throat.
She struggled to breathe as her eyes locked onto the suede ankle boots she hadn’t seen in twelve years.
Emma had borrowed them without asking the night she disappeared. Someone had gotten inside the apartment. That someone had to be the same person who killed her sister, keeping that pair of boots all this time until they could return them to her.
Shae managed to gain her composure enough to quickly scan the open layout, looking for any hiding spot that would conceal a fully-grown man. She spun around and faced the bathroom, where the door stood half-open. Was he in there, hiding behind the shower curtain?
She didn’t stop to think as she ran for the front door.
Shae crossed the threshold and would most likely have stumbled down the steps had Jace not been standing at the top of the staircase to catch her.
She was in his arms before he could ask her what was wrong. Not even the warmth of his embrace could chase away the chill burrowed deep inside at the sight of those boots purposefully placed inside the apartment just as if she’d unpacked them herself.
“Shae?”
Jace would have pushed her away had she not done it herself first. She grabbed his wrist and tried to pull him downstairs. They needed the police. A bubble of hysteria tickled her throat at the thought of calling Kyle Foster, but someone could very well still be inside her bathroom.
“We have to go,” Shae said somewhat desperately, quickly moving around him and trying to put distance between them and the possible danger that lurked inside the shadows. “He’s inside my apartment. We need to call the—”
“Go downstairs,” Jace barked, somehow managing to get his wrist out of her tight grasp. She snatched his shirt, not sure if he understood what she was staying. “Tell Noah and Lance the same—”
“You can’t go in there, Jace.” Shae desperately tried to tug at his arm once more, needing him to come downstairs with her. This was a matter for the police. “He was inside my apartment. He’s probably still in there somewhere.”
Shae had been flicking her gaze from him to the open door behind them, checking to see if he was coming after them. The nausea that had previously threatened to overtake her was edging ever closer. Why wouldn’t Jace listen to her?
“H-he put Emma’s boots in there,” Shae whispered, her throat closing as another nail was hammered into her belief that Emma was dead. Her mind had always accepted that principle, but her heart would eternally hold out hope. Those boots would forever remain seared into her mind. “He—”
A sob caught in the back of her throat, cutting off her words.
“Stay here.”
Jace moved away from her so fast that her fingers never even loosened from her fist before she could stop him. It was then she noticed that he was wearing a holster and the firearm rested in the palm of his hand as he cautiously entered the studio apartment. It had never even occurred to her to grab the one out of her purse.
She held her breath and strained to hear any sounds over the music in the bar below. She was certain that he was in danger.
Twenty seconds later he emerged, his features practically set in stone.
Shae hadn’t realized she’d been waiting for him to say she’d imagined it all… that no one had invaded her privacy and a twisted serial killer hadn’t left the ankle boots her sister had worn the night she’d disappeared.
She didn’t fight him when he took her in his arms, offering her the security she so desperately needed.
Her presence in town had drawn a monster out of hiding.
It took a moment for Shae to recognize the penetrating and raw emotion that washed over her— rage. It was unlike anything she’d ever experienced before, thankfully casting her relentless grief and remorse aside as if they were nothing.
She might have lured a monster from his lair, but he’d awakened something even more terrifying— a woman now bent solely on revenge.

Their homecoming wasn’t so welcoming. Four brothers and one sister each gave twelve years of their lives to serve their country and fulfill their family’s legacy of service. As each of them return to their home of record, they weren’t prepared for what awaited them—an unforgivable sin that has been hidden for twelve long years. Secrets and lies are concealed in the dark shadows of the very town they were raised in, and the Kendall family will have no choice but to rely on one another to unravel the sinister evil that they all hold the keys to unlock.

A chance mishap with a sledgehammer was the sole reason a chilling nightmare was unleashed in Blyth Lake.
Noah Kendall’s grisly discovery left him in the middle of a murder investigation and a neighbor who knew more than she was willing to say. Reese Woodward had returned to town with dark secrets, and he was determined to unravel them. While evil lurks in the darkness, seduction burns between them…only time was their enemy.
Will her secrets destroy what they’ve built, or can he earn her trust before the killer strikes again?

Unthinkable. Unbelievable. Inconceivable.
I don’t recognize what my life has become. I can’t tell where the lies end and the truth begins anymore.
He came into my world and urged me out of my safe little corner.
All my dreams are coming true except the one thing I want most— my own happy ending.
But I’ll fight for it.
For now.
For always.

Who knew things could get even darker and dirtier in New Orleans? New York Times bestselling author Meghan March introduces the Savage Prince of the city, the man you never want to meet.
I do what I want and who I want. I don’t follow anyone’s rules—even my own.
I knew I shouldn’t touch her, but it didn’t stop me.
Didn’t stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third.
My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn’t.
But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I’m nowhere near ready to quit her yet.
I’ll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness.
Hopefully it doesn’t kill us both.
Savage Prince is book one of the Savage Trilogy, set in the same world as Ruthless King, however you do not need to read the Mount Trilogy to devour this scandalously hot new story.

He’s a mystery. An enigma.
His very identity is a secret buried beneath layers of deception.
He’s also an addiction I can’t shake. An attraction I can’t fight.
And then I found out exactly who he is—a man more dangerous than the devil himself.
Now I need him in order to save everything that matters to me.
I have to pull back. Protect myself from the danger that haunts his every step.
Which would be easy . . . if I could stop myself from falling in love with him.

Tethered Souls

My family has secrets. I’m always the good girl, doing what’s necessary to keep my loved ones safe. I’ve kept the darkest secrets from everyone I know. As painful as it is to hold them all inside where they live and gnaw away at me, that’s where they must stay.
I haven’t seen my closest childhood friend, Christian Bear, since I was a teenager—he hasn’t changed a bit. He’s still temperamental and plays by his own rules with the law following two steps behind him.
Christian remembers me. But he doesn’t know the first thing about me anymore. I should’ve shared my feelings with him the day before I moved away with my family, promising him I’d stay in touch. It broke my heart when he didn’t keep his end of the bargain. As a consequence, we haven’t spoken in years. Even though Christian and I have always had undeniable chemistry, I won’t let him shatter my heart a second time.
Christian has shown up in my life again with secrets of his own, and demanding answers. That doesn’t mean I’m willing to give them. He’ll know my secrets when I’m ready.
Our secrets, the risks we’re taking, and the danger he imposes make it impossible to know what our future holds.
Either our tethered souls will bind back together, or our secrets will separate us forever.
Tethered Souls is the second spin-off novel from The Nine Minutes Trilogy. It can be read as a standalone, but would most likely be more enjoyable if read after Nine Minutes, Out of Time, and A Gift of Time. It contains major spoilers from the trilogy, and although not necessary, the reader might benefit by understanding the background stories of the main characters that are described in the series. There are many twists and turns in all my books that can best be connected if read consecutively.
RECOMMENDED FOR READERS 18 AND OLDER DUE TO STRONG LANGUAGE, SEXUAL SITUATIONS, AND VIOLENCE.

Michel’s Review
Spoiler Free
Tethered Souls by Beth Flynn can be read as a stand alone novel but I highly recommend reading the Nine Minutes Trilogy and Iron Tiara first. These books are an unforgettable reading experience and further validate Tethered Souls. This makes Tethered Souls a richer reading experience.
Beth Flynn is one of those author’s who has the natural gift of storytelling. Her ability to combine very specific details from the past and present from multiple character POV’s without distracting the reader from the actual story taking place is a true gift. Her ability to create different stories or plot driving events within the novel compels the readers to take notice of all the characters within the series and become connected to their lives just as much as they are to the main characters. In essence, Beth Flynn brings them to life and breathes fire into their personalities and souls.
The Nine Minutes Trilogy took the Romance World by storm. Readers became invested in the lives of Grizz, Jenny, Tommy, Anthony Bear, Christy Bear, and all their dedicated friends who impacted their lives. Just like the real world, their lives influenced the future of their children’s lives. These children were innocent by products of their parents sins and redemptions. Their childhood was impacted by the horrific mistakes and illegal activities their parents were involved in. Like most people these parents wanted their own children lives to be better than their childhoods were. They wanted to protect their children from the world and the enemies they made along the way. They wanted their children to have a chance at becoming the people they never had the opportunity to become. They love their children and would give them anything within their possibilities and that is what became a problem. Thinking they were protecting them from their past and enemies only drove them to making their own life altering mistakes. Maybe they should of let destiny take it’s course. Maybe they should of tried harder to hide their past. Now Mimi and Christian are having to dig themselves out of their parents pile of crap and make their own.
Mimi and Christian are back on destiny’s path but the road hasn’t been paved. They have to forge forward, cut away all the thorns and debris blocking their way, and make the right choices when it is possible. It is their destiny… their world to conquer… their mistakes to make… their lives to build… their love to nurture… their family to create… and finally their children to love and protect. It’s the cycle of life… it’s Mimi and Christain’s turn to make their mark on the world.
Yeah… Mimi and Christian lived up to their destiny. Yeah… Beth Flynn once again floored me with her gift of storytelling. She held me captive by choice and I savored every reading moment. I want to thank Beth for sharing her gift, for sharing her heart with the world.

The Rush Duet – Book 2
By Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland
****
Rush and Gia’s story continues in the gripping conclusion to Rebel Heir…
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Sleep with your boss. Check.
Blow all your money on a rental you can’t afford. Check.
How to walk away from a man you fall in love with at the end of a summer:
…I’ll let you know when I figure it out.
Rebel Heir is the second book in the Rush Series Duet. Book One, Rebel Heir, is available for sale now.

Michel’s Review
So I didn’t think that I could fall any harder for Rush but once again Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland proved me wrong! The dirty talking and now non- smoking bad boy has grown his own set of wings all because of a smart mouthed romance author with a bun in her oven. Yeah it may have really pissed him off that the bun in the oven was not his but it was even worse when he found out who the real baby daddy was. I don’t know who took it worse, Gia -the mommy who ended up pregnant from a one night stand, Rush- the cranky hot boss, or Elliott- the self entitled privileged prick baby daddy. History was repeating itself. The difference was the actual players in the game this time around. Money or position were not the issues in this hot mess. The issues were of the heart and the willingness to love and accept the things a person cannot change.
Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland once again proved that love can conquer all no matter how difficult the situation may be. It just takes a little humor, compromise, honesty, and dedication along with the gift of creating unforgettable characters that makes Penelope and Vi’s book stand out among all the romance novels available to readers. They are the Dynamic Duo of romance. They are the reason I love reading and reviewing books. They always deliver more than a story, they deliver a delightful reading experience.

How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn’t supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Michel’s Review
The Dynamic Duo, Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have a new release that readers are going to love! Rather than their usual fantastic stand alone romance, they have released Rebel Heir, the first book in the Rush Duet.
The first chapter of Rebel Heir gets the reader completely hooked and ready to spend the summer in the Hamptons with Gia and Rush.
Gia has gone to the Hamptons to spend the summer writing her first romance novel. She’s on a deadline and she’s suffering from writers block. When she agrees to help her roommate out one night by filling in as a bartender, her summer takes an interesting turn. She meets the most gorgeous but obnoxious man. What makes it worse is that he is the owner and boss of the bar she’s filling in at. Rather than getting her friend fired she ends up getting a job as a hostess. Thus begins the snarky and sexy foreplay that leads to an unforgettable summer.
Yeah you might think this is predictable but it’s anything but predictable because Vi and Penelope have added more than sizzling hot sex and quirky situations. They have added an obstacle that is going to take nine months of preparation and a lifetime of sacrifice. It’s not completely what you think, there’s a twist to the plot that neither Gia or Rush can overlook. What happens next? We will find out when Rebel Heart releases in May.
In the meantime make yourself a Cosmo, relax, and read Rebel Heir. It’s guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and wet your panties.
The dynamic duo has done it again. Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are the BOMB!

With laugh-out-loud mishaps and heartfelt advice, bestselling romance author Brenda Rothert shows readers that while dating these days can be the worst, great men aren’t just fictional.
Ladies, we’ve all been there…a good first date is wrapping up and we’re sure a second date is likely after a great goodnight kiss beside our car. He’s tall, funny and charming. FINALLY a good one. He asks to get in the car, which seems natural since it’s cold outside. And then, once inside, another kiss, and he exposes himself and asks us if we like his wiener.
Wait, what? You haven’t been there? Guess that one only happened to me. What about the guy who spends most of a first date complaining bitterly about his ex-wife? The one with the guy who cops to his criminal record over dessert?
Dating these days can leave a girl frustrated and disgusted. But fear not, I’m here to help. I’m a veteran dater, having spent a fair amount of time in the cheap-cologne scented trenches. And while I am admittedly not an expert, I can help you avoid my mistakes.
I’ll show you how to prepare yourself for dating, how to spot the red flags and how to laugh off the misadventures you will inevitably have. And hopefully, how to avoid an awkward wiener encounter of your own.

—————-

Will is my fiancé. The shy man I met years ago in college. The person I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with.
This is the life I’ve always wanted until finding a picture of four men changes everything…
Etienne says he’s my husband and the year is 1912. He can’t stand the sight of me, but I don’t know why.
Oh, and he’s one of the men from the picture.
I’ve done the impossible and have become trapped in time and I know Etienne is my key to going home.
The more time I spend with Etienne, the further I fall for him, until I’m questioning which time I belong in and if the life I left behind is the one I truly desire.
All I know for certain is I need to survive time.
I need to survive love.
And I need to make it out on the other side alive.

Right then, someone places a hand on my arm. I turn and see Nat. Her eyes are wide with panic. “Étienne is here.” I stare at her blankly, and she frowns. “Did you hear me? I said Étienne’s here. He’s livid.”
Judging by Nat’s frantic expression and tone of voice, I know this Étienne is someone important. But I don’t know who the hell he is or why I should be the slightest bit nervous.
I’m getting ready to say that when she plants her hands on my shoulders. It’s impossible to tell if the gesture is more for her benefit or mine. “You’re in no shape to see him. I’ll distract him. That should afford you some time to hurry to your room.”
Before I can reply or ask who in the hell this Étienne is, the whispers start. Word spreads like wildfire until conversations practically cease.
“Go,” Nat pleads.
No sooner has the word escaped her mouth before the doors at the far end of the room slam open. People stop what they’re doing. Even the musicians appear unsure and stare at each other in confusion.
Nat and Livingston move in front of me like a pair of bodyguards. I stand on my tiptoes and try to peer between their shoulders, but all I can make out is a stark white shirt. I’m confident it’s the Étienne man Nat was talking about.
In the hushed silence, I can distinctly hear his powerful steps. People inch toward the walls or the double doors.
“What are you still doin’ here? Go!” Nat whispers to me.
Why would I go? It’s just getting interesting. A thrill courses down my spine and spreads throughout my body. Minutes ago, I wanted to leave, but the dramatic reaction elicited from everyone and the giant question mark stamped over this mysterious Étienne makes me stay put.
Plus, this is a dream. Right now, I’m merely a cat with nine lives. If danger comes my way, I’ll survive. By the ninth, I’ll wake up.
For now, I’m safe.
The closer he gets, the louder his footsteps become. My heart pounds in sync with his footsteps. When he stops walking, Nat and Livingston’s shoulders are practically fused together. All I can see is the man crossing his tan arms.
There’s a beat of silence before Nat speaks. “Étienne. This is a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know you’d be here.”
“I live here. This is my home.” His voice is laced with the same slow, Southern drawl as everyone else I’ve heard speak tonight. But I think it’s the deep timbre that makes my pulse jump. Yes, that has to be it. “Who’s behind you?”
“No one,” Livingston and Nat say in unison.
“Are you sure? Because I swear I see the top of Serene’s head behind your shoulder.”
He knows my name. How does he know my name? Once again, I remind myself that anything goes in dreams. But something about this isn’t sitting well in my gut.
Livingston and Nat turn at the same time. They wear expressions of pure shock, as if they had no idea I’d been standing behind them.
“Oh, it’s Serene.” Livingston shares a well-practiced look of confusion with Nathalie. “I didn’t know she was there. Did you, Nat?”
“I did not.”
Damn, these two are good. If this were real life, we’d be fast friends. From how they play off of each other’s body language and words, I know they’re siblings; my brothers and I covered for each other the same way.
I can’t see the man’s expression, but I’m willing to bet he’s not buying anything they’re saying.
“Step aside. I need to talk to her.”
No one makes a sound. My legs shake.
When Livingston and Nat don’t budge, he says, “Move. Now.”
Nat’s shoulders slightly sag in defeat. I’m half-tempted to tell her not to give in to his demands, but my tongue becomes three sizes too big for my mouth.
As she steps to the right, she gives me a quick once-over and whispers, “I tried to warn you.”
They move away, and it feels as if I’ve been thrown to the wolves. Now I’m facing the leader of the pack. The first thing that comes to my mind once I see him is, Shit. I should’ve listened to Nathalie.
Because this isn’t the good ol’ boy every mother wants their daughter to end up with. No. This is the man every mom has warned their daughters about. You run, not walk when you encounter someone like him.
I stand there as though I’m nailed to the floor and watch as the man gazes around the room. He sighs as if everyone is wasting his precious time.
Then he turns his eyes to me, and when he does, the realization hits me like a bolt of lightning.
It’s my mystery man.
The man from my dream.
The man from the picture.
Standing inches away from me.

Blurb:
Cross Jacobs was a screw-up.
Everyone knew it, especially him, and the point was hammered home when Kallie Welch drove herself right out of his life.
But, she’s back.
Seeing Cross wasn’t on Kallie’s to-do list. She didn’t think she could avoid him forever but trying never hurt anyone. One minute she’s standing by herself and the next she’s accosted by a rich, velvety scent that could only belong to one man: Cross.
At face value, he’s divine. All rugged and confident with a smile that melts her right where she’s standing. It doesn’t take long to find him to be charming, witty, and the owner of a few legitimate businesses. Not at all like the mischievous boy she left.
He laughs and her heart flutters. With a touch of his hand, she’s dizzy. She’s fairly certain she’s going to die when he pulls her into an embrace and touches his lips to her forehead.
It feels right. It feels so right.
But is it?

So, when the lovely and gracious KP Simmon of Inkslinger approached some bloggers about testing out the recipes in BAR BITES and sharing with their followers, I jumped at the chance. I mean, really, how original and what fun, right? So, I put on my apron, gathered some ingredients and my partners in crime/taste testers, and off I went…
I know my audience, so I chose both the Veggiedillas With Avocado Dipping Sauce and the White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies. You know, more bars should really have cookies on the menu…but I digress. So, armed with all the fixins, we were ready to get started on the quesadillas.
I really love that the recipes are simple, and have easily obtainable and widely liked ingredients. From prep to plate, this ‘dilla took almost no time, and the satisfied faces and empty plates speak volumes. Not only that, but, if this was on the menu of my favorite bar, I’d be pretty darned stoked.
Next up, the sweet stuff. Not to be outdone by the A+ veggiedilla, the white chocolate cranberry cookie has just the right amount of ingredients, and is easy peasy from start to finish…
I want to thank the authors for such a great collaboration in BAR BITES, KP and Inkslinger PR for such a cool idea for a blog tour, and my sous chefs and taste testers. My mom was the perfect choice to help out, because I learned to love romance reads from her, and the kid, well, he’s not met much food that he doesn’t like, so it was pretty much a no-brainer.
I think that most everyone will find lots to love in the recipes in BAR BITES, so make sure to grab your copy. And, hey, cooking should always be a lot of fun, and a labor of love (the ingredients guaranteed to make EVERYTHING taste better!), so enjoy!

For the first time in a long time, life is good. I’ve got a smokin’ hot motorcycle man as my fiancé, the best friends a woman could have, a couple of great kids, and things have been relatively quiet on the PI front.
You know what that means… the other shoe was bound to drop sooner or later…
Just when I was ready to settle down and plan the coolest wedding Greenswood has ever seen, the shit hit the fan, and hit it hard.
My friends are fighting, Cade’s been out of town doing God knows what for the club, and my sweet little twins are turning into hair-pulling pre-teens with more drama than my old daytime soaps.
I feel like I’m being pulled in a million directions, and I’ve been going so crazy that Elin’s swear jar is near to overflowing. I’ve been eating cupcakes like a woman possessed, and if I’m not careful, there’s going to be a Cupcake Explosion… in my pants.
WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE, SEX, SOME VIOLENCE, AND SHENANIGANS. IF NONE OF THAT BOTHERS YOU, GRAB A CUPCAKE AND READ ON!

EXCERPT:
I shut the door and prayed there was no evidence of my investigation as I followed her into my living room.
“Carmen’s here?” she asked, looking at the two wine glasses, cheese board, and our discarded electronics.
Carmen was still in the kitchen. I could hear the strain of her voice, but luckily couldn’t make out the words.
Hopefully, Bea didn’t have supersonic hearing.
“Yeah, we were just hanging out. And, don’t beat yourself up, I was busy most of the day with the Wilkes.”
“Oh, right, the future in-laws are here. I can’t wait to meet them,” Bea said with a grin.
My friends had all loved hearing about our escapades with Cade’s parents in Hawaii. How his mom always seemed to know when we were about to have sex, the time we accidentally skinny dipped together, and when Elin found Cade’s mom’s vibrator.
Good times.
“I’m sure you’ll all love each other,” I said wryly, then asked, “Want a glass?” Pointing at the wine.
“Sure,” she said, as Carmen came back into the room talking.
“He’s on his way and happy to help,” Carmen said, then stopped in her tracks when she saw Bea.
“Who’s on the way?” Bea asked curiously.
“Bran,” I replied, then tried to keep the conversation going by sing-saying, “Her boyfriend.”
“Oh, stop, he’s not my boyfriend,” Carmen argued, playing along.
“Oh, I didn’t know you’d given him a second chance, that’s great, Carmen. I’m happy it worked out this time,” Bea said.
I hurried to grab her a glass and came back as Carmen said, “It’s still pretty new. I don’t want to jinx anything.”
“I can’t wait to finally see you guys together, you know, since you made it official. Did you say he’s coming over now?” I asked.
Carmen nodded.
“Can you ask him to pick up some McDonalds? I’m suddenly jonesin’ for a quarter pounder with cheese, no onions.”
“Oh, yeah sure, I’m hungry, too. You want anything, Bea?”
“I’m good,” she said, then looked pointedly at the cheese board.
“What? I stress eat, you know that.”
