Tracey’s Review

With a cast of characters as powerful as they are infamous, there was no way that MADAM TEMPTRESS, the second and final book of the Magnolia Duet, could be anything other than fantastic. I have come to expect that Meghan will deliver no less than perfection, and I was, as usual, not disappointed. MADAM TEMPTRESS was all that I could have wanted in this story, and is the perfect second half to this action-packed duet.

Magnolia Maison and Moses Gaspard are Meghan March’s latest power couple, and they have rightfully earned their positions. Small-time players in the New Orleans game, these two have put in their time and risen to their positions of power. And talk about a love story that spans place and time, these two have never stopped loving each other.

There’s plenty of action, plenty of intrigue, and all of the usual suspects, making this trip back to NOLA sweeter than ever. This book, and its predecessor, are definitely not to be missed, so move them right up your TBR and enjoy. ❤️

So. Former New Orleans madame with one heck of a story to tell…Scary as heck mysterious anti-hero, with just the promise that there’s some redemption down the road. Characters born from the writing genius of Meghan March, one of my absolute favorites. How could CREOLE KINGPIN, the first book in Meghan’s Magnolia Duet, be anything short of amazing? Only possible answer: it can’t.

This story the perfect addition to the world that Meghan created in her Mount Trilogy. Y’all know how much I love me some Lachlan Mount, and his dark ways, and it just seems fitting that these two are orbiting that same sphere. Magnolia, with her kick-ass self, a strong woman rising from the ashes of a past that we’ve only seen hints of. And Moses, a man that honestly scared the bejeezus out of me when we first met him in the Legend Trilogy. These two have “a past,” and it’s got to be one heck of a story to have made these characters into who they are.

In typical Meghan fashion, the questions are not going to be answered quickly nor easily. No, this story’s been 15 years in the making, so a roller coaster ride seems perfectly fitting. You know, all the rises and dips before coming to the end and bringing it all together. I, for one, want to see where Magnolia and Moses go, and cannot wait to get these grabby hands on MADAME TEMPTRESS. Come on, Meghan, put a girl out of her misery…❤️

Y’all. Every single time that Meghan March introduces a new couple, I think, ‘This is my favorite couple of Meghan’s!” Let me tell you, friends, this might be it. Scarlett and Gabriel and the group of people that they love are the deal, and THE FIGHT FOR FOREVER, the perfect wrap-up for one of my new favorite set of books from Ms. March.

Each of the two previous books has been a great read in their own right, but this one has all of the action, all of the love, all of the feels. Scarlett and Gabriel are turning the typical Cinderella story on its ear, coming together as the power couple that no one was expecting, and writing their own happy ending. Edge of my seat much? To the very last page, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Meghan kept me guessing right up to the end, paving the way for what I am hoping is the story that I cannot wait to read. Was that my jaw on the ground? Why, yes, yes it was, as Meghan proved once again that she is at the top of her game as one of the reigning queens of contemporary romantic suspense.

If you’re a fan of Meghan’s, then you know that this book, and, indeed, the whole Legend trilogy, is a must-read. If she’s been on your TBR, then go, right now, and grab these books. Go. Now. You can thank me later… ❤️

Meghan March served up a hot as heck beginning to her Legend trilogy in THE FALL OF LEGEND, leaving us all revved up and ready to see what would happen between Scarlett Priest and Gabriel Legend. Well, no surprise, Meghan has done what she does so well, and outdone herself with HOUSE OF SCARLETT (Book 2).

I’m not going to lie, I fell in love with Scarlett, Legend, and their whole coterie of friends and family. It’s wonderful to see Scarlett’s and Legend’s story continue, to find out more about them, and to learn what has made them who they are. And, sizzle? You betcha. These two have got it in spades. As ever, Meghan writes characters that jump off the page, full of personality and quirks that land them squarely in my heart.

Then there’s the matter of the cliffhanger. Meghan does them so very well, and, frankly, I’d be a bit disappointed if things tied up all nice and tidily. I mean, life is rarely neat and clean, especially if it’s in one of the worlds created by Meghan (what I’m getting at is ANGST, y’all). And, there’s one more book, after all, so we have plenty more time and story to anticipate and savor Scarlett, Legend, and their world. THE FIGHT FOR FOREVER is coming our way very soon, so, in the meantime, make sure that you end the year with one of the hottest book duos around. ❤️

Okay, so I’m all in…I know that if the first book in the new Legend Trilogy by author Meghan March has me feeling this kind of way that it’s on. Three books? You bet. I’m there for the whole ride, y’all. Because, once again, the lovely and talented Ms. March has created a whole new world (is that singing that I hear…?) with a whole new set of characters to get to know and love. And love them, I do.

Meghan does a bang-up job of setting the mood for the trilogy with this first book, showing us what makes these characters tick and why. I am truly excited to see what’s ahead for Scarlett and Gabriel, and I know that Meghan will deliver like nobody’s business. An easy 4 stars, THE FALL OF LEGEND should be high atop your book pile, friends. Go forth and devour… ❤️

Well, reader friends, I can say without reservation that Meghan March knows how to keep us invested. WHITE KNIGHT starts off with a bang, jumping right back into the thick of the action that was coming from every direction at the end of BLACK SHEEP. Man, this is mafia romance at its best, with twists, turns, and revelations enough to keep me guessing right up until the very end.

At the heart of it, WHITE KNIGHT is a love story, on more than one level. Romantic love, familial love, the bonds of friendship, they’re all here, and I fell more in love with Cannon, Drew, and all the rest of the far-flung members of their clan. And, at the end of it, Meghan’s done her usual wonderful job of bringing all the pieces together to give a story that I’ll remember for a long while to come.

As this is a duet, it is an absolute must to read BLACK SHEEP first, because you will be lost if you try to jump right in to this book. And, the truth is, you don’t want to miss one juicy detail, one action-packed minute, of the entire story, believe me. These Cassos are one complex bunch, and the surprises keep coming, one right after the other.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, we get the first look at Gabriel Legend, too, so, y’all, don’t be dawdling, make this duet a part of your must-be-read piles. You’ll be glad that you did. ❤️

Okay, y’all. Just yes. Meghan March and her not quite legit or above board alpha men are going to do me in every single time. You may have met Cannon Freeman in Meghan’s earlier books, but you haven’t seen him like this. And, true to form, we’ve got a heroine who can more than hold her own in her dealings with the boss man, and mesmerize him while doing so. Drew Carson is a woman on a mission, and she’s not stopping until she’s got all the answers. If only keeping away from Cannon was as easy… BLACK SHEEP has all the markings of Meghan’s best books, with characters that you’ll fall in love with right away, a tautly written plot that doesn’t let up, and, oh, yeah, plenty of those scenes. You know, the ones that make you wish you had a tall cool drink and a fan. But there’s more here than just insta-lust, and this is one book that you will not be able to put down. And, yes, yes she did. As cliffie writer extraordinaire, Meghan brings this book to a close with a bang, one that’ll have you sitting on the edge of your seat and giving your retail site of choice the side eye, as you tap your fingers and wait for White Knight (Book 2) to be released. But, never fear, it won’t be long until you can get your hands on the sure-to-be-awesome wrap-up in this dirty duet. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and give the audiobook a listen, because Andi Arndt and Sebastian York have worked their usual magic, bringing these characters and their stories to vivid life. Because once around with Meghan’s books is never enough, so get yourself set up and enjoy.

Oh, my goodness, people. Prepare yourselves, because our Meghan March has outdone herself. You might think that you’ve seen her most alpha, her most mysterious, her most ‘y’all, where in the world did I put my fan?!’ hero. But, if you haven’t yet met Jericho Forge, well, you haven’t, not by a long stretch.

Longtime fans will remember the glimpse we got of Mr. Forge at the end of REVELING IN SIN (Sin Trilogy Book 3). I was intrigued, and couldn’t wait to see more of him, and, y’all, Meghan did not disappoint. DEAL WITH THE DEVIL is full of Meghan’s signature mystery, intrigue, and sizzle. Oh, Lord, the sizzle. There was practically steam coming from my phone, friends, and it was fantastic.

I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook of DEAL WITH THE DEVIL, and, besides the fact that I couldn’t get enough as things played out between Jericho and India, let me just tell you what an absolutely awesome job narrators Joe Arden and Erin Mallon did with the story and the characters. Their performance allowed me to see the story play out in my mind, and, yes, it was fantastic.

In typical Meghan fashion, there is a humdinger of a cliffie here, but that only means that I get more of Jericho and India, and gives me something to look forward to. This is absolutely a 5 star experience, both the story and the performances, and if you’re a fan of Meghan March, then it should be either on your TBR or queued up for your listening pleasure. Either way, make sure that you meet Jericho Forge. You will not be sorry.
