When Aidan Blake, Astor’s high school crush, shows up, she isn’t sure whether he is friend or enemy. Aidan, hired by infamous businessman Sean Ferro to find Astor, can’t fight the feelings that he’s harbored for her for seven long years, and pursuer becomes protector.

Now, if another author said that they were writing a companion novella to H.M. Ward’s THE ARRANGEMENT series, I might read it. But, when J. Evans writes something, well, there’s no question, I’m on it. And, as usual, she does not disappoint. This short little story was as hot, sexy, and action-packed as I’ve come to expect from J. Evans, and I loved every bit of it, from the opening scene to the very last word in the epilogue. Whether you’ve previously read H.M. Ward or not, I’m telling you to grab this jewel and get reading; you will not be disappointed.
