Synopsis

Taylor Shaw had the perfect life—until she was sixteen. That was when everything changed. From that moment on, life went from bad to worse…to the worst.
After recovering from a brain tumor, months later, she suffers the tragic loss of her whole family.
Since that fateful day, she’s been coasting through life.

Now, the brain tumor has returned, and Taylor decides she’s had enough. She’s going to take her fate into her own hands.
No more hospitals. No more surgeries. No more anything.
She’s going to join her family.
It’s her decision.
What she longs for.
The ending she wants.

She just has a list of things to do before she goes.
First, go to England.
Second, kiss a stranger…

Only, Taylor didn’t expect Liam Hunter, the stranger—with his handsome face, his six-foot-three of gorgeousness, and his oh-so-hot English accent—to change things.
To change her.
To change the ending she wanted.

What is a girl, who is standing on the edge of nothing, to do when offered the chance of everything?

A Note from Samantha: Writing The Ending I Want has been a cathartic and exhausting process for me, but I have loved every second of writing it. I relate to this story more than any of the stories that I’ve written before. Maybe that’s because there’s a piece of me in this book. And not in Taylor having a brain tumor, because fortunately I’ve never had to endure anything like that. But for me, it was the need to feel free from something that has crippled me for many years, just like Taylor is crippled by her own pain. Taylor wanted to die to be free. I never wanted to die, but I did want to be free, in a way that’s hard to explain. But now, after years of feeling trapped by my demons, things that have held me back in life, I’ve found a way to get the freedom I needed. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m working better now than I ever did before – just saying this cryptic stuff out loud is a big step for me. So, writing Taylor in the way I did was a big deal for me. I really hope that you love this story, and see strength in Taylor’s choices rather than weakness.

Go to England. Kiss a stranger. Have lots of sex,” his deep voice rumbles out the words I wrote.

He glances at me over his shoulder, a shit-eating grin on his face.

I don’t even bother with trying to get the list back now. What’s the point? He’s already seen it.

Bastard.

I fall back into my seat, my face feeling like a blowtorch went at it. “You’re an asshole,” I mutter.

He turns to face me, my list in his hand but still held out of my reach. “Aw, don’t be like that, Taylor, from Boston. I was just curious to read it.”

I’m pretty sure he’s going for contrite, but he’s failing miserably.

I glare at him. I’m going for death-by-laser stare.

It doesn’t work because he gives me a panty-dropping smile. I’d like to say I’m unaffected, but I’m not; however, I don’t let him know that.

“Curious? I don’t think so. An effing thief? Yes.”

He laughs. “I’m sorry. But you don’t need to be embarrassed. It’s a good list.” He looks back to my list. “Have sex with a stranger,” he continues on reading. “Have sex with a stranger outdoors. You do know I can help you with all of these, right?” He lifts a brow at me.

I give him the middle finger.

He laughs again and looks back to the list. Then, he stops laughing and stares at me with what can only be described as complete horror. “You’ve never had oral sex?”

Fuck.

Why the hell did I put that on my list?

His very first missing person’s case threatens to end anything but happily ever after for the families involved. Then a young man goes missing too, and the pressure has Rob reaching for the nearest lifeline. The one that’s dangling by the barest of threads—his wife.

And though Amy’s grip is strong, her love may not be enough to keep Rob from slipping away.

Excerpt

Tall grass, dried from the blazing summer days, crunched under their duty shoes. Heat hung over the dirt road, and not even the pools of shade cast by tall water oaks offered relief. The red clay, already rutted and dusty after the recent rains, baked under the early-afternoon sun, and a black snake sunned himself beside the ditch.

Zeke’s forlorn truck sat next to the turnoff to the sprawling fields. On one side of the dirt track, green corn stalks, tassels golden and silky, reached toward the blue cloudless sky. On the other, neat rows of peppers and squash, heavy with ripe produce, ran up to the far woods. Cicadas buzzed in a quivering rise and fall of distant sound. The police radio beeped and squawked, a garbled transmission between Chris and dispatch, a license-plate check. Around the abandoned Ford, a bubble of silence pulsed. The window was down, a cell phone and wallet on the dash. The keys, on a John Deere fob, dangled from the ignition. Empty fertilizer jugs littered the bed. A tidy stack of bushel baskets waited next to the vehicle.

Around the truck, the grass was beaten down, trodden low by farm vehicles, tractors and booted feet. Rob leaned down to better see inside the truck, but didn’t touch anything. “When was the last time you heard from him?”

“Yesterday at lunch.” Worry roughened Dale Jenkins’s voice. “His mama tried to call him last night and there was no answer, but that’s not real unusual. She called Britt this morning when he still didn’t answer, and he never came home last night.”

“Why didn’t Brittany call us?” Rob straightened and pulled out his notebook to begin jotting.

“She said it’s not unusual for him not to come home some nights.”

Really. That was new. Rob scratched down a note, but kept his face impassive. “Have you talked to any of his friends today? Other relatives he’s in contact with?”

“His grandma hasn’t heard from him. My wife’s been calling his friends, and none of them have seen or heard from him.”

Rob cast a look at the cell phone on the dash. “Did you touch anything in the truck?”

“No. When I got here and saw his stuff like that, I walked the field and through the woods down to the stream, just seeing if I could find him.” Dale wiped a hand across his tense jaw. “I been friends with Tick Calvert a long time, and my wife likes that Dateline show. I knew better than to touch anything when I didn’t find him.”

“Okay.” Rob stared at the truck, then down the turnoff and into the woods. Turning, he nodded at Troy Lee. “Will you get Parker out here with the dog? And bring me the evidence kit from the trunk.”

With his phone, he snapped a series of photos of the scene and the truck’s interior.

“Chris is on his way.” Troy Lee stopped beside him and set down the multiple-compartment box that housed the evidence kit. Rob removed two pair of latex gloves and snapped them on, one pair over the other. Rather than open the door, he reached through the open window and retrieved the cell phone. The home screen glowed to life to reveal myriad missed calls from his parents and Mike Smithwick, plus various texts from Brittany and a couple of friends. Rob swiped his thumb across the screen and the keyboard popped up for a passcode entry.

He glanced sideways at Jenkins. “Do you know his passcode?”

“Four-one-two-zero.” Jenkins cleared his throat. “It’s part of Emma’s birthday.”

Rob navigated to check for the last outgoing texts and calls, both of which dated to late the previous morning. A phone call to his mother around eleven, then a text to Brittany at twelve.

Rob placed the phone in an evidence bag, labeled and sealed it. He squinted across the field, quiet and deserted under the midday sun. “Mr. Jenkins, other than the situation with Brittany this week, has Zeke had other difficulties you know of? Has he been in any trouble or talked to you about any problems he’s had lately?”

“No.” Jenkins pushed up the bill of his battered cap with one finger and scrubbed a hand over his forehead. “He’s always been a real good boy. We weren’t happy about Britt being pregnant with them so young and not married and all, but since they got married, he works hard to take care of her and Emma.”

The grass surrounding the produce field showed no evidence of recent foot traffic. Maybe he’d never even made it into the field. “You said you talked to his friends. Is it possible he’s with one of them?”

“No.” Jenkins shook his head. “He might ignore Britt and he might ignore me, but that boy would never ignore his mama.”

Michel’s Review

I was surprised to receive  the announcement of Linda Winfree’s next book in The Heart Of The South series.  This series began in 2008,  The last release was several years ago.  I almost forgot about this fantastic series.  The first nine books were so good!  I immediately requested this ARC for review. On May 10, 2016 , Gone From Me by Linda Winfree will release.  If you are a fan of romantic suspense, southern  romance, and small town romance, Gone From Me is the perfect book.  It can be read as a stand alone book and does not have to be read in series order.  If you are new to this series, I can guarantee you are going to want to read the previous books in the series.

Linda Winfree has a natural story telling gift.  The reader immediately gets sucked into the story.  There is always a great cast of characters, a complicated plot, and a very emotional romance.  The characters are always easy to relate to because they are ordinary people, like you and me, with ordinary problems we all encounter at some point in our lives.  Add the descriptive passages that draw the reader into the deep south and the small town environment, and it makes the book feel more like a movie.

Gone From Me was quite different from the romances that readers have grown accustomed to in the past few years. It stands out because the author approached some very tough issues and moral values.  Linda Winfree did not have to use explicit sex scenes or repetitious angsty scenes to validate the characters story.  She used descriptive words that were delivered in a honest and compassionate way.  She allowed her characters to experience their lives, the good and the bad, and become better people through their trials and errors.  At the same time she establishes a passionate relationship that takes work and commitment.

Rob and Amy have had their share of problems in the last year.  It has tested their relationship, their commitment to one another, and how they perceive their lives.  Every marriage has it’s hiccups.  Every marriage takes work.  Finding the solutions together is what makes them stronger in the outcome.

Not only are Rob and Amy struggling with marital problems, they are also dealing with issues at work.  Rob is working on a difficult missing persons case that spirals out of control.  Rob is determined to prove he has the investigative skills to solve the case.

The case is not cut and dry.  When a dead body shows up it changes in a new direction.

It’s time for Rob and Amy to solve their problems and solidify their careers.

I was glued to the pages.  After I finished this book I wanted to go back and read this series again.  I am so happy that Linda Winfree is writing again!

I highly recommend Gone From Me by Linda Winfree.

Synopsis

Katie Ashley, the New York Times bestselling author of Redemption Road and Vicious Cycle, returns to the dangerous and seductive world of the Hells Raiders motorcycle club….

After her father was murdered in the line of duty, ATF agent Samantha Vargas is determined to take down the scumbags of the drug trade. I rose off the picnic bench. As I set my longneck down, I could feel Bishop’s eyes burning into my back. When I glanced at him over my shoulder, his eyebrows rose questioningly. Slowly, I turned around. As I met his blazing baby blues, I held out my hand. His body shuddered slightly before he leaned up to put his hand in mine. I tugged him up off the bench, pulling him close to me.

His warm breath against my cheek, causing me to shiver with building anticipation. “What are you doing, Sam?”

Without a moment’s hesitation, I replied, “Getting you to take me somewhere we can be alone.”

He pulled back to look at me. Both longing and regret flickered on his handsome face. “You gotta know that nothing good is gonna come with me being alone with you right now.”

“I know.”

“And you’re okay with that?”

It was the same question raging through my mind. Did I want to fuck Bishop to get in even deeper with him because of the case or was it because I was starting to feel more for him than I should? In the end, I tuned out the voices in my head. “Yeah, I am,” I responded, my voice resonating with certainty.

With a brief nod, Bishop tugged on my hand and started leading me away from the others. We went around the back of the clubhouse and then passed the pawnshop. As we continued walking, the lights grew dimmer and dimmer until we found ourselves in shadowy darkness. Bishop stopped us in front a tall chain-link fence that ran the length of the property.

After gazing around, I swallowed hard. I’d never had sex out in the open before, and I could feel my once firm resolve slowly fading. “Here?”

“It’s really the only place we can be alone with all the brothers being in from out of town. I gave up my room in the clubhouse.” A lustful gleam burned in Bishop’s eyes as he pulled me against him. I could feel the hardened length of him through his jeans. “But if you want, I’ll put you on the back of my bike and take you anywhere you want to go.”

Deep down, I knew it was right here and right now, or I was going to lose both my nerve and my buzz.I brought my arms up to wrap around his neck. “I just want to be with you.” I drew his head down to where our lips were almost touching. We stayed like that for a few seconds, both of our chests heaving and our bodies trembling. This was our figurative cliff, and we were just inches from free-falling off it. Before we could think any more about it, Bishop crushed his lips against mine.

For such a hardened, tough guy, his lips were so very smooth. They felt as soft as velvet as they moved against mine. I tightened my arms around his neck, drawing him as close to me as I could. My breasts strained against the bulging muscles of his chest.

I couldn’t seem to get close enough to him. I had to fight the urge to jump up and wrap my legs around his waist and grind myself against him. As his warm tongue entered my mouth, I moaned. He proved within seconds he was one hell of a kisser. He was also one for multitasking, because as his tongue caressed mine, his hand palmed my breast through the fabric of my dress. My nipple pebbled under his fingertips, and I gasped when he pinched it between his thumb and forefinger. While one hand continued to knead my breast, the other dipped below the hem of my dress. I sucked in a breath when it skimmed against my thigh before journeying farther upward. It had been too damn long since a man had touched me, and as Bishop’s hand cupped me, my head fell back, banging against the fence.

“Fucking hell. You’re drenched,” Bishop said in a ragged voice.

“I know,” I groaned. Gazing up at him, I said, “Please, don’t stop touching me.”

“Hmm, I like the sound of you begging.” His fingers began to work me over my panties, but I wanted more. I wantonly kicked my legs apart, spreading them as far as I could for him. Bishop read my mind by jerking my panties to the side and thrusting two fingers deep inside me.

“Oh yes!” I cried, moving my hips against his hand. At that point, I didn’t give two shits if anyone at the party could see or hear us. I just wanted to come.

Michel’s Review

Last Mile by Katie Ashley is the third book in the Vicious Cycle series that features the Malloy Brothers and the Hells Raiders MC.  The Hells Raiders have been through the wringer with the Mexican Cartel, the authorities, and the rival MC’s.  It’s time to go legitimate and leave the illegal activities to the other chapters.  The Georgia chapter of the Hells Raiders has lost too much.  The Malloy family has grown and they have children to protect.

Bishop Malloy is all for going legit.  He has big dreams of building his own Bike shop.  He’s ready to go a different path in life.  First the club needs to have clearance from the other chapters and national leaders.

The ATF has been trying to infiltrate the Hells Raiders MC.  After they get word that the Georgia chapter has been dealing with the Mexican Cartel and running guns, they are ready to make their move.  They plant two ATF agents posing as a couple into the club as hang arounds.  Samantha and Marley are going to become part of the Hells Raiders world.

Samantha hates bikers after witnessing her father’s death as a child.  She is more than willing to take as many down as possible.  Her memories and perceptions are nothing like what she encounters at the Hells Raiders clubhouse.  When she meets Bishop Malloy her attitude towards bikers begins to change.  She’s beginning to see that there is more to a biker than the patch he wears on his vest.

After the violence at the national rally things begin to change for the club.  They pissed off some of the other chapters and have paid the price.  They lost some of their own and now they are at war within their own club.

Bishop and Samantha are beginning a beautiful friendship after sharing their grief.  Samantha is still keeping secrets.  Bishop is falling hard.  Their relationship is doomed.

I was glued to the pages and thrilled with the outcome of Bishop Malloy’s journey to finding love.  Read the Vicious Cycle series by Katie Ashley.

Mia

I wake to a thump and sit up in bed. It’s three in the morning and my room is dark, but there’s more thumping. Someone’s kicking the wall between my room and Arrow’s.

My heart clenches as I picture him on the other side having wild sex with some girl. Maybe some old fuck buddy came over after I went to bed. Hell, for all I know it’s Gwen visiting her stepson’s bed.

I dismiss the idea as quickly as it comes. Arrow can’t tolerate Gwen, and he may have changed, but he’s never been one to fuck girls he can’t tolerate.

There’s another thump, then I hear Arrow’s voice. “No. Don’t.” Rough, choked words. And more thrashing. “Why?”

I throw off the covers and run to his room, opening the door without a thought.

I don’t know what I expected to find. Arrow is sleeping alone, tangled in his covers.

Frozen, I stare at him. Moonlight spills in through the open curtains and casts shadows across his face. Sweat glistens on his forehead, and his face twists in a grimace.

I step closer. I could touch him, but I shouldn’t. “Arrow?”

He kicks. His arm flies out and hits the wall.

“Arrow,” I repeat, louder this time.

He grabs my hand at the wrist and flies upright in bed as his eyes pop open. He’s breathing hard, and anguish is all over his face. For a minute, I feel like I can see inside him—all the terrified, vulnerable parts he hides from the world. I can see inside him and I know exactly what I’m looking at, because my dreams make me feel the same way.

“What are you doing here?” he asks in a low whisper. The anger from earlier is gone from his voice.

“You were having a nightmare.”

His eyes rake over me—greedy, hungry, desperate. “What? No red lace nightie? Or do you save that for my dad? Like mother, like daughter?”

I gasp before I can stop myself. Why doesn’t he just punch me? His fist to my face would hurt less than those words.

I yank my hand away, spin on my heel, and walk toward the hall. As I reach for the knob, he’s behind me. He slams his palm against the door, and it closes with a violent thunk. “I’m sorry,” he whispers behind me, his breath on my neck. “I’m sorry I said that.”

I keep my gaze on his hand. Arrow has the best hands. Big, strong, beautiful. And the first time they touched me . . .

I squeeze my eyes shut at the unwelcome memory, and shrug. “I need this job,” I say slowly. “Your stepmother has made it clear that she’ll fire me if we can’t get along, and we both know your dad will fire me if you ask him to. But please don’t. Please don’t screw it up for me.”

“Mia,” he says softly, and I feel him step closer, the heat of his body against my back. The rough pads of his fingertips brush the hair from my neck, then his breath, hot and sweet, tickles against that tender skin.

I’m frozen, divided between the wish for his kiss and the fear of it. “I’m sorry,” I whisper. Hot tears roll down my cheeks, and I don’t know what I’m apologizing for. For taking this job? For going with Brogan that night when Arrow asked me not to? For entering his life to begin with?

Yes. All of that. More. “I’m so sorry.”

He drops one hand from the door and the other from my neck. My body grows cool as he steps away.

“Stop apologizing,” he says.

I turn the knob and head to my room. I don’t look back.

Michel’s Review

Wow!  Spinning Out by Lexi Ryan is a great start in her new series, The Blackhawk Boys.  Spinning Out has everything a reader looks for in a book.  There is romance, a love triangle, mystery, emotional angst, and a great cast of characters.  This books taps into the emotional well and has the readers experiencing the journey right along with the main characters.

Arrow Woodison had it all until he met Mia Mendez.  From that day forward his life changed in drastic measures.  Popularity, football, and wealth could not keep his life from spinning out of control.  It could not keep his heart from falling in love with his best friend, Brogan Barrett’s, girlfriend Mia Mendez.  Falling in love with Mia was the beginning of a nightmare that would forever scar his soul.  It would destroy his future prospects in professional football.  He would lose his best friend.  It would almost destroy his relationship with his father.  Most of all it would change how he perceived himself as a man.  He let his life spin out of control and now he is paying the price.  He is living with guilt, remorse, heartbreak, and hopelessness.  The only thing that remains the same is his love for Mia Mendez.  He may not have the power to change her heart but he does have the power to help her heal from the damage he has caused in her life.  He is determined to help her live her life once more and move on from the destruction he has caused in her life.

Mia Mendez is struggling to get by.  Her father is a drunk.  Her brother that was a convicted felon and drug addict is dead.  Her mother abandoned the family when they needed her the most.  It would seem that all of her family’s problems revolve around the actions of the Woodison family.  Mia is a smart girl and knows there are two sides to every story.  She also knows deep down the Woodison family is not responsible for her family’s downfall.  She has taken a job as the Woodison family’s nanny in order to support her father and get back in school.  It doesn’t matter if she is head over heels in love with Arrow Woodison.  She has to let go of those feelings because those feelings destroyed Brogan Barrett, the man she should have loved with all her heart.  She destroyed a good man.  Her betrayal caused her brother’s death. She died right along with him.

Love can be the best thing in life but it can also be the one thing that destroys everything good in life.  Mia and Arrow are learning that life goes on even though their hearts were destroyed.

An undeniable love.  A horrific accident.  Deep hidden secrets will change not only Mia and Arrow’s life but also every person they hold dear.

Lexi Ryan wrote a fantastic book!  I was glued to the pages.  I connected with all of the characters.  I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Read Spinning Out by Lexi Ryan!

ABOUT MISTER O:

✮✮✮MISTER O will be available on Kindle on release day May 2!✮✮✮

Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power.

Making a woman feel ‘oh-god-that’s-good’ is the name of the game, and if a man can’t get the job done, he should get the hell out of the bedroom. I’m talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time.

I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.

But then I’m thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She’s my best friend’s sister, but she’s far too tempting to resist–especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I’ve secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?

No one will know, even if we send a few dirty sexts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those f*&k-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family.

The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I’m not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure –I’m thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come.

Looks like the real Adventures of Mister Orgasm have only just begun….

**MISTER O is a standalone romantic comedy and it follows supporting characters first introduced in BIG ROCK**

“A sexy, delicious, toe-curlingly good time!”

NYT Bestselling Author Marie Force

“Nick is hilarious, sexy, passionate, sweet, and knows that cake is very important to a woman’s heart and soul. Together, their banter is refreshing, their sex is off-the charts hot, and their minds are brilliant.” – Sandra at Two Book Pushers

Tracey’s Review

They say men have sex on the brain 99.99 percent of the time. You’re not going to catch me trying to dispute that…In my case, though-and I suppose, in my defense-sex is part of my job.

Well, heck, Lauren Blakely, when your main man opens with this statement, where can things go but up? I have to admit that, having fallen so completely in love with BIG ROCK when it came out, I had high hopes for MISTER O. I mean, just the title-how could it be anything but great? Well, no surprise, Lauren has artfully delivered another wonderful friends-to-lovers story, complete with characters that I wish I could actually spend time with, sizzling chemistry, and a repeat performance by the inestimable Fido, king among cats.

Nick Hammer (yes, that’s his real name, thank you very much), cartoonist extraordinaire, and best friend of Spencer Holliday of BIG ROCK fame, finds himself in a fix. See, he’s ready to cross a line, that line that says that you don’t mess with your best friend’s sister. But Nick can’t help himself, because Harper Holliday has had the starring role in Nick’s late night fantasies and early morning shower time for quite a while.

Harper Holiday. Red hair. Blue eyes. Face of a sweet, sexy angel, body of a badass, ninja-warrior princess, and a mouth adept at pitch-perfect delivery of sarcasm. I’d play Dirty Synonyms, Dirty Antoynyms…Dirty Anything with her.

Yep, Nick definitely has Harper on the brain, and when she comes to him for help in the romance department, he can’t say yes quickly enough.

I have to admit to having a mad girl crush on Harper. I mean, she’s a magician. Like, sleight of hand, pull Skittles out of your ear, do it for a living magician. Totally badass, indeed. The fact that she’s looking for schooling in the love department just makes her more endearing.

I want to look into someone’s eyes and feel like he knows me, gets me, understands me. I want him to see my quirks and accept them, not try to change them. I want to know what that’s like.

Not so much to ask for, right? And, before he knows what’s hit him, Nick wants to be that guy, because, when he least expects it, this quirky, sexy, Princess of Many Faces has grabbed his heart, and he’s so gone.

Lauren continues to write books that engage and delight from the first page, and there is not one of her characters that does not reside in my heart. MISTER O continues the Lauren legacy, and I could not have asked for a better follow-up book in this series. A well-deserved 5+-stars for MISTER O, and lots of left over warm fuzzies and smiles for me. Next up, WELL HUNG, where Nick’s brother Wyatt gets his story, and I cannot wait. If you haven’t started these books, do it now. They are not to be missed.

EXCERPT:

“We own most of the land in the Tech Center. My father bought up the land thirty years ago before any of this was here. And we lease it out.”

Jesus. What kind of money is that? I can’t even begin to understand it.

“Anyway,” Mac says, standing. “I’m waiting in here for a reason.”

“Is that right?” I stand up too, but my heart beats a little faster when I take him in. He’s wearing a dark gray suit today, a blue shirt that is so light it’s barely a color, and another brilliant cerulean-blue tie that makes his matching eyes shine as they stare into mine.

I don’t know why, but I step backwards. His full attention on me suddenly feels more like a force than a look. He steps forward, hands reaching for me. I bump against the wall, no escape, and then he fists the front of my blouse and rips it open, revealing my silk cami.

My mouth opens in surprise.

He rips the cami apart too. And then, with one forceful whoosh, both garments are lying in a puddle of fabric on the floor.

“What are you doing?” I yell.

The intense stare turns to a boyish smile. “I’d like you topless for breakfast. And I get to call the shots for our dates.”

“Why do I even bother with you? Just why?” I refuse to cross my arms and cover my tits. Fuck him. Just fuck him. “Every time I start to think you’re not a pig, you go and do something like this.”

“It’s fun, right?” His smile never cracks.

“No,” I say. “It’s humiliating.”

“Your tits are nice, Ellie. You should not be ashamed of them.”

“I’m not ashamed of them—”

“Good. Because I’d like to stare at them while we have coffee and discuss our date tonight.”

A knock comes from Mac’s office and I might have a panic attack that someone will come in and find me bare like this.

“Hold that thought,” Mac says, leaning down to kiss my lips. “Breakfast is here. Sit,” he says, pushing on my shoulders until I slump into the window seat again. “I’ll be right back.”

And then he enters his office, pulling our connecting door closed.

I listen to the conversation in there as I look down at my clothes. What the hell was he thinking? The cami is dust. Ripped straight down the middle. At least the silk button-up shirt is only missing all the buttons. I can probably tie it around my waist to make it out to the parking lot, but—

There’s a jingle of a cart and plates. We have… room service? What kind of company has room service?

I guess I’m not all that surprised they have it up here. We have several restaurants on campus. The Atrium has a cafeteria. Maybe this came from the cafeteria?

Mac is laughing on the other side of the door, then I hear a polite thank you just before the sound of a closing door.

The connecting door swings open again and Mac is there, a wide grin on his face. “I hope you like pancakes.”

“This is not happening.”

“Oh, this is happening, Miss Hatcher. You are sitting here.” He points to the middle of the window seat as he pushes the cart towards me.

“I have no clothes, Mac. You ripped my cami. I’m going to have to tie that over-shirt on and go home to change. In fact,” I say, reaching down to get my blouse and pull myself together, “I’m not coming back. I’m done. Just when I think you’re a human, you act like an ape.”

“Would you just relax, Ellie?” He rips the shirt from my hands, balls it up, and then tosses it in the air, where it arcs perfectly and sails into the new trashcan that matches the desk. “Three points,” he says.

“It’s like you live in your own world or something. I think it’s funny that you accused me of living in some delusional fantasy, but you, Mr. Stonewall, you’re a raving lunatic who thinks the world is his asylum.”

“I’m going to take that as a compliment. Now sit. I’ve got it all under control.”

Michel’s Review

Reading great books is my personal escape from my very ordinary world.  I embrace the stories because they are very different from my personal life.  They are my entertainment.

Mr. Perfect by J. A. Huss is an erotic romance novel.  It is the combination of fantasy, romance, and an entertaining story.  It is purely fiction and not intended to be perceived as a reality.  It is meant to engage and entertain the readers.  It is meant to leave them with a good reading experience and a few emotional delights.

Mr. Perfect starts out with a lusty bang.  It’s an office romance that starts out as a purely misconceived sexual encounter.

Ellie Hatcher has worked for Stonewall Entertainment for seven years.  Her job is to take care of the celebrities appearing on the various shows.  She is a master at her job.  The celebrities love her.  Day in and day out she does the same thing and does it without much fuss.  She is a valued professional even though she hasn’t climbed the Stonewall Entertainment corporate ladder.  She has other dreams and aspirations for success in life.  Stonewall Entertainment is merely a stepping stone to the future.

It’s the typical Wednesday at Stonewall Entertainment until a spoiled, self absorbed rockstar is scheduled to appear on one the prime shows.  He’s demanding and a bit eccentric. Ellie is used to his demands but slips up when she forgets about the peanut butter sandwich in her purse.  She forgot he had a peanut allergy.  She almost killed him.  That is just the beginning of the worst day of her life.

Ellie’s bad day turns even more disastrous.  An unscheduled jet appears in the hanger and it is not the former boss that she used to fantasize about.  It appears she has a new boss, Macallister Stonewall.  When she gets summoned to the main corporate headquarters, she knows she’s about to be fired.  Instead she is promoted.  She’d rather stay down in the lowly hanger away from her new sexy boss.  With the promotion comes a handsy boss that is getting her naughty text messages that were sent to her former boss that is not supposed to be able to receive her messages because he no longer has that phone.  The problem is the new boss has the phone and is playing games with her.  Rather than be subjected to the game, she quits and tries to make her escape from Stonewall Entertainment. Let’s just say rather than getting out of the building, she’s captured by her boss who refuses her resignation.  His negotiating techniques are downright thrilling but not enough to change her mind until she remembers he has damaging texts and pintrest boards.  She has to get the phone back before she leaves Stonewall.

Mac and Ellie engage in some fantastic sexcapades at the office but then things start to change from fun and flirty to a more committed sensual relationship.  Ellie still plans on leaving Stonewall but Mac is determined to keep her.

MacAllister Stonewall is Mr. Perfect.  On the surface the man is everything one would expect in perfection.  The problem is Mr. Perfect is far from the title.  He has a mysterious past that has been erased.  He’s hiding a lot of secrets.  He’s selling off Stonewall Entertainment without justification or reason.  He’s determined to keep Ellie within reach but refuses to open up to her.

When I started this book I was instantly drawn into Ellie’s world.  When the sexcapades begin between Ellie and Mac, I was thinking oh boy that is a big no no. This crosses the line of sexual harassment in the work place.  It crosses the lines of moral ethics.  Then I pushed those thoughts out of my head because I remembered this is fiction, this is pure fantasy romance meant to entertain.  On a scale of one to ten on the heat index, this book was a solid nine.  But then the J. A. Huss special magic took over the book.  The book became more than an erotic romance, it became an erotic mystery with very complex characters.

J. A. Huss is known for writing erotic romances that involve mystery, intrigue, and suspense.  She’s known for building complicated plots that evolve through several books.  The plots take twist and turns that keep the readers glued to the pages and committed to all the books connected in the plot.  Mr. Perfect is just the beginning and I believe the mysterious future Mr. books are going to explode!

New Release + 5 Star Review: When I’m With You by Harper Sloan – Hope Town Series – Book 3

WIWYbannernow

WhenImWithYou_FrontCover_LoResNate:

It’s nearly impossible to be surrounded by love but not understand it. My parents, my sister, and just about everyone around us has no trouble accepting that love. To give your trust to someone else and believe they would die before hurting you. I’ve witnessed it—I’ve seen the power of it—but I’ve also seen the pain. Because for me, I’ve only loved someone I could never have, and my biggest fear is that by giving her my love, all I would do is ruin her. I should have tried harder, but I’m not sure I can because I only feel complete when I’m with her.

Emberlyn:

The only time I feel like I belong is when he’s near. His infectious smile warms me straight to my bones. Any insecurities I have vanish with just a wink from him. A sliver of his attention makes me feel invincible. But all it took was one drunken night of truths for me to lose everything I had begun to crave. Now, I’m not sure how to move on because I only feel complete when I’m with him.

He said I was too young. I said he was perfect. He said our families wouldn’t understand. I said we could weather any storm. He said he would ruin me. And he was right.

Michel’s Review

When I’m With You by Harper Sloan is the third book in the Hope Town Series.  Not only is the Hope Town Series a fabulous spinoff of the Corps Security Series, it easily stands on it’s own merit.  When I’m With You is my favorite book in the Hope Town series because it features two of my favorite offspring in the Corps Security crew.  I also love seeing one of my favorite characters in the Corps Security Series, Maddox Locke, handing over his little girl to another man.  Is Nate Reid strong enough to stand up to Maddox Locke and win Emberlyn Locke’s heart?

Nate and Ember have had a special connection even though they are six years apart in age.  At the tender age of eighteen Ember finally had the courage to confess her heartfelt feelings to Nate.  Rather than embracing Ember’s heart, Nate rejected her confessions of love because of the age difference and he wasn’t ready to settle down in a relationship.  This strained their precious friendship and sent it down a new path.  Ember gave Nate one more chance at his sister’s wedding but once again Nate fell short of her expectations and this time she’s done.

Three years can make a huge difference in people’s lives.  It gave Ember time to grow up, mature, and become a real woman.  It gave her the opportunity to study art and pursue a career as an artist.  It also gave Nate time to get himself together.  He is finally pursuing his professional aspirations and is becoming his own man, not a man that lives in the shadows of Corps Security.  He’s reached the point in his life where he’s ready to settle down with one woman.  The only woman he wants is Emberlyn Locke and she wants nothing to do with him.  She has gone out of her way to avoid him.  She has been absent from all of the family functions.  He intends to turn it around.

Ember has moved on from Nate.  Although she has a boyfriend, he’s not what she wants.  He’s turning into someone that she’s beginning to fear.  After a heated break-up, Emberlyn is ready to move on.

Nate and Ember are finally getting a chance to make more of their special connection.  Everything is happening at warped speed.  Nate is busy with his new business and Ember is busy preparing for her art show.  They barely have time for one another let alone anything else.  As far as Nate is concerned he will make the time for Ember no matter what obstacles stand in his way.  He will have to deal with one scary father, a group of meddling family members, and a crazy ex boyfriend.  Not a problem, he is Nate Reid, a man to be reckoned with.

I loved Nate and Ember’s story.  It was everything I hoped Harper Sloan would give these two dynamic people.  It was perfection.

For the record… Nate Reid can put me in time out anytime he pleases.  And… I still love daddy dearest, Maddox Locke.  These two men make me swoon!

“Rhys?”

His name rushes from my mouth on a breath, and I’m off the bed, hurling myself at him top speed. Somehow my legs wrap around his waist and my arms tangle behind his neck. I couldn’t hold back and play this cool if I wanted to. Every part of me that’s been fighting to stay focused, to keep working, to be on, collapses against him. Surrenders to the feel of him in my arms and the smell of him. My fingers lace through his hair. I scatter kisses across his face, the sharp angles and taut skin warm beneath my lips.

“So I take it you’re happy to see me?” He chuckles, pressing his forehead to mine, hands squeezing my thighs.

“Happy?” I release something that’s half a sob, half a laugh, pulling back a few centimeters to let him breathe. “What gave you that idea?”

We stop grinning at the same time, laughter dissolving, our bodies exchanging sensual information. My breasts flattened to his chest. His erection growing and hardening against my core. Our breaths mingling and hearts tattooing beats through our clothes and into the other’s skin.

I move first, leaning in to capture his bottom lip between mine, sucking and pulling between my teeth. Licking into his mouth like there’s honey hidden inside. He groans into the kiss, walking backward until we reach the bed and dropping me so I bounce a little, his eyes roving over me head to toe.

“Pep, what the hell are you wearing?” Humor and desire tussle in his eyes.

I look down, laughing when I see the young Jackson brothers emblazoned across my chest, my legs ending in the footed bottoms.

“If I’d known you were coming, I could have made sexier arrangements.”

“Arrangements?” He quirks a dark brow, placing a knee on either side of my legs, hovering over me like a promise. “Lingerie would have been nice. Other rock stars have girlfriends who wear lingerie.”

“Oh, are you referring to yourself as a rock star now?” I grin up at him, feeling whole for the first time since he kissed me goodbye a week ago. “That’s not egomaniacal at all. Is there a club? You guys have rock star meetings? Does one of you take rock star minutes?”

“You are sitting in here listening to my music in the dark.” He leans forward to tug at the zipper beneath my chin. “Maybe you’re actually one of my crazed fans. Or a groupie. I might even find a Mrs. Rhyson Gray t-shirt around here somewhere. My girlfriend doesn’t like those.”

“No, she doesn’t.” I shake my head, eyes never straying from his.

A small frown jerks his brows together. He tugs again at the zipper, but it doesn’t budge.

“Pep, it’s stuck,” he says.

“Sometimes it does that,” I answer easily, enjoying the frustration spreading over his expression as he keeps pulling and it keeps staying.

He places my hand over his cock, hard and poking through his jeans.

“Well, it’s not exactly a good time for it to do that.”

I laugh, grasping my zipper and tugging. Wow, it really is stuck. These are vintage PJs, older than I am and threadbare in places. I’m surprised the zipper hasn’t rusted before now. I sit up, bringing our bodies closer as I jiggle the little hook a few times. Nothing.

“Just how attached are you to this Jackson Five onesie?” His glance burns hot across my subtle curves visible through the thin flannel, telegraphing his intentions.

“Well this is Michael’s original nose.” I release a fake exasperated sigh. “But I do have my sewing kit.”

“All I needed to hear.”

Sorry, boys.

He grabs the two ends of the collar separated by the zip line and pulls until there’s a ripping sound, the panels falling back to reveal my naked breasts and my panties. A wicked grin spreads across lips.

“You naughty girl.” He runs a finger over the writing on the front of my calendar panties, carrying a current that simultaneously hitches my breath and gets me wet. “Wearing Monday panties on a Thursday. My little rebel.”

Tracey’s Review

“Somewhere along the way I failed you…Somehow, I wasn’t clear. I haven’t made it abundantly clear that this–what I feel for you–goes nowhere…You once told me there are at least two categories of forgiveness…What was that second category?”
“It’s that kind of forgiveness where you just love the person so much, you can’t stand being apart from them. You have to forgive them because you’d do whatever it takes to restore the relationship.”
“That’s the one.”

There are those books that touch you so deeply that it takes a while to process them. The ones that leave you with a book hangover, that continue to make their way into your thoughts even days or weeks after you’ve finished them. DOWN TO MY SOUL by author Kennedy Ryan is one of these for me.

Kennedy’s writing draws me in completely. Her stories are full of passion, emotion, and angst, but, most of all, they are truly love stories. And, although I am still fairly new to her books, I know that a) I will not be disappointed, ever, and b) they will stay with me for a very long time.

After I inhaled MY SOUL TO KEEP, the first book in the Soul series, I jumped right into DOWN TO MY SOUL, completely in love with Kai and Rhyson, and captivated by their story. This second book picks up immediately following the emotional cliffhanger in MY SOUL TO KEEP, and is just as angsty, just as passionate, just as consuming as the first book.

Kai and Rhyson are still figuring out how to navigate their relationship. Still reeling after finding out about Rhyson’s betrayal, Kai is intent on making a name for herself based on her own merits. Even distance and time can’t dull her feelings for Rhyson, though, and, when Kai needs him the most, he’s there by her side to help her find her way. But Rhyson isn’t the only one that’s been keeping secrets, and when Kai’s threaten to become public, she has no choice but to tell Rhyson, knowing that it could mean the end of them.

Kennedy has once again written a deeply touching, completely engrossing book that I could not put down. The path of Kai’s and Rhyson’s love is complicated, but worth the read in every way, and I cannot recommend this book any more highly. 5+ stars for DOWN TO MY SOUL. I have high hopes that Kennedy will give us more books in this series. Add this one (and, please, if you haven’t read the first one, do it) to your TBR; you will not be sorry.

Synopsis

Women loathed me without even knowing my name. Men coveted the very idea of me.

Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore.

I’d heard it all. Done it all.

Over the years I’d felt a lot of things about my occupation…but not regret–never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.

UNTIL MARCO VALENTI.

He’d changed me and I’d naively fed into the fairy tale.

But Marco wasn’t my Prince Charming.

He had secrets of his own.

Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

Excerpt

“I’m here because you’re paying me,” I bit out.

His muscles stiffened and Marco pressed his lips together. “Of that, I am fully aware.” His hands dropped to his sides and his jaw ticked.

“I just meant…” I trailed off, unsure how to rectify the situation. I’d let my anger get the best of me. Marco looked down with such intensity in his dark gaze that I drew in a breath and held it.

Eventually, he wrapped his hands around me and I exhaled a shaky breath. He drew me to his firm chest and dropped his forehead to the top of my head. Being locked in his embrace and pressed against his body left me breathless. Tingling started in my extremities as Marco’s hand caressed up and down my back. He nuzzled his face into my neck and drew in a deep breath, inhaling my scent.

“Profumi d’estate. You smell like a sweet summer breeze.” His lips grazed my neck and I shuddered before he brought his forehead to mine.

His scent—a combination of expensive cologne with a hint of bergamot—drifted into my nose. Suddenly, I wanted to pleasure this man. Not because I was being paid to do it, but because I wanted him to want me, I wanted to make him happy, and I wanted to know him intimately. As fucked up as all that was.

I moved my hands to his chest, feeling his hard pecs flex beneath my palms as I dragged them down his abdomen, eventually lowering myself to my knees. The outline of his swollen cock was clear through his suit pants and I traced the shape with a single finger. When I reached the tip and squeezed, he hissed and pushed his hips forward. Wetness pooled between my thighs and my clit pulsed, demanding attention.

I looked up at him as I undid his belt and slowly pulled his zipper down. His large hands threaded into his hair, his eyes a little wild. My nipples hardened when I opened his pants and saw that he wore no underwear. Did he always go commando?

I licked my lips at the sight of his large, uncircumcised cock, stiff and straining in front of me. Before I could act, Marco bent at the waist and reached down, gripping my wrists and stilling me. He squeezed them, and with only a look he told me to let go of his dress pants. I did, unable to help myself from doing his bidding.

Marco gently pushed one strap of my dress off my shoulder and then the other. He pulled the fabric down, and since I wore no bra, my breasts sprung free. His eyes flared and he bit down on his bottom lip, sucking it into his mouth as he did. Unable to control my reaction, my back arched, silently begging him to put his hands, mouth—hell, anything—on me.

My breasts felt swollen and heavy, my nipples almost painfully erect. Marco ran the back of his hand softly along the outside edge of one breast as my heart hammered in my chest like a tribal drum, the beat picking up speed the longer I was forced to wait. His heavy-lidded gaze drifted up to meet mine at the same time his fingers clamped around one of my nipples and squeezed. I cried out, my head dropping back at the pure ecstasy of pain that was matched with equal parts pleasure.

“Sei perfetta,” he said, falling to his knees.

He palmed my breast, and I brought my head up just in time to watch his head dip down. He sucked the nipple he’d just delivered such exquisite torture to into his hot mouth, soothing the ache that remained. With no warning, he twisted my other nipple. My hands dove into his hair while his steady gaze watched my reaction. His full lips dragged across my hot skin until he reached my other nipple and laved it, erasing the sting of his assault.

Then he squeezed both of my breasts, pressing them together. “I am going to fuck these beautiful tits. Soon.”

God, I hoped Marco was a man of his word.

His stiff shaft bobbed with his movements while he played with me a little longer, sucking and pinching and pulling and tugging. Everything he did was driving me wild.

Finally, he pulled away from me and stood back up, his pants wide open and displaying his impressive manhood. Marco unbuttoned his shirt as I kneeled below him, watching the buttons give way, one by one, revealing even more of his chiseled chest.

The man definitely spent time working on his physique. Starting at his protruding pecs, I reached up and ran my hands down his eight-pack and along the deep V carved into the lower half of his abdomen. Both the V and his dark treasure trail seemed to be pointing to the one thing that could ease the steady heat burning inside of me.

I hadn’t realized how hard I was biting my bottom lip until Marco pushed his shirt off so that his cock was front and center, begging for attention. Dark, assessing eyes looked down on me, and a smug grin tugged on one corner of his mouth. “Open up, bella.” His hand pushed into my hair and pulled me forward.

He didn’t have to ask twice.

5StarMichel’s Review

I am hooked!  Hook by Elisabeth Grace is the first book in the Duplicity Duet.  From the very first paragraph to the very last word, I was glued to the pages.

The Duet Duplicity is quite different from what Elisabeth Grace usually writes.  It had a darker theme and an extremely tense tone that was loaded with erotic intensity.  It was also a beautiful story of motherhood, compassion, and romance.  I became deeply invested in the characters and the direction their lives were heading.

Brandi is a high class call girl in Vegas.  She makes no apologies for her profession. She embraces it.  She is a professional until she meets the one client that rattles her chains and makes her question her choices.  She’s a single mother of a child with special needs.  She will do anything to keep her child healthy and happy.  She is also a woman with big dreams beyond her current profession.

When Brandi is hired by Marco Valenti as a companion while he is in Vegas, it seems as though her current bookings will be easy money.  What she didn’t anticipate is the growing attraction, the hint of emotional feelings, and sex like she has never experienced in all of her encounters.  The money is too good to be true.  The job is too easy.  That should of been the warning bells going off.  Now she is in danger.  She and her son are now targets for Marco’s enemies.  Marco is hiding some secrets that go beyond mysterious.  It is downright dangerous.

As their relationship grows into something more, she is finally able to place her complete trust in Marco until the unthinkable happens.  CLIFFHANGER!

I can’t wait for Burn to release in June.  I was left biting my nails with fear.

The Duplicity Duet is by far Elisabeth Grace’s best writing.  It was the perfect combination of contemporary romance, erotic romance, and romantic suspense.  It was like Pretty Woman meets the Mafia.

Read Hook by Elisabeth Grace.  It is fantastic!

Synopsis

Love is only a word until someone enters your life and gives it meaning…

“No”

One Word.

Two Letters.

But those two letters changed everything.

It was impossible to predict the impact I would have on the life of the only woman I’d ever truly loved. No way to know that I would result in her ruin.

I’d suffer for eternity with the knowledge that it was me who’d brought devastation to her doorstep. Though I deserved the anguish I felt, to see her suffer was unacceptable.

I would fix this.

Somehow I would prove to her that I wasn’t the monster she thought I was.

Even if it meant becoming a monster in order to make that happen.

Michel’s Review

Wicked Need by Sawyer Bennett is the latest release in the Wicked Horse series.  It is also my favorite book in the series to date.  It had that special Sawyer Bennett magic that brought the characters to life.  This story was emotional and tapped into some very common issues many people suffer from.  Each person has a different way of coping with their problems.  It may be destructive or constructive.  This book has a bit of both and showcased each side of the coin with humility, compassion, and intelligent solutions.  What made this book special was the sincere romance that evolved in a hedonistic, erotic world.  The eroticism did not take over the story, it complimented it.  The interactions between the characters, in and out of the bedroom, was honest, vulnerable, and sincere.  The emotions and feelings were the main focus of the story.  The Silo took a back seat to the love story that was evolving.  I loved it.

Rand Bishop is a well adjusted, complex man.  He’s comfortable in his own skin and his sexuality.  That’s what makes him a highly demanded Fantasy Maker at the Silo.  Outside of the Silo, he is even better.  He’s a dependable good friend, a compassionate human, and successful in his day job. He’s always ready to lend a helping hand and may have a bit of a White Knight complex.  That’s exactly what makes him special.

Rand discovers Catherine Lyons Vaughn sleeping in her car at the Wicked Horse.  She has been one of the Silo’s popular patrons, known for her group scenes. It’s hard to understand why this newly widowed, wealthy woman would be sleeping in her car.  When he discovers that Catherine has been left penniless and homeless, he offers her refuge in his home without judgement or expectations.  He wants to help her get on her feet and get a fair shake in life.

Cat Lyons sold her soul when she married a wealthy old man.  She paid the price with her body and self respect.  Now she’s once again single, penniless, and deeply scarred by her choices in life.  It’s hard to comprehend why Rand would want to help a person like her, let alone expect anything in return.

Together Rand and Cat discover the real meaning of love.  First Cat will have to learn to love herself and embrace the respect she deserves.  It’s a painful journey but Rand is there to hold her hand when she needs it and to let go when she’s ready to take the big steps.

My heart bled for Cat.  She was a lost soul floundering in the world without a clue. I fell in love with Rand because of his emotional strength and right on intuition.

Wicked Need is by far the best book in the series.  Sawyer brought out her magic pen and created a beautiful love story between two dynamic people.

Wicked Need is beyond an erotic romance, it is a romance that stands the test of time.

He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.

Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.

Cain Bonham is as big and bad as they come. After serving in the Marines, he’s returned home to Wyoming and now works as head of security at the exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse. His job is to protect not only the patrons, but to zealously guard the secret existence of the club itself.

Sloane Preston is all about discovering secrets. As an undercover reporter, she’s determined to reveal the truth behind the facade of The Wicked Horse and expose it for all the world to see. She just didn’t count on her pathway into the club coming at the hands of one gorgeously scarred and bad ass bouncer who manages to easily possess her body and soul.

While Cain’s not looking for anyone to catch his eye, Sloane did it all the same, and he’s not bemoaning the fact that she’s as wickedly kinky as he is. As both get caught up in the sinful fantasies that only The Wicked Horse can create, secrets and loyalties will be tested and hearts will risk being broken.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.
