“Come here,” Styx says, giving my arm a weak tug.

“Where?”

“Come lie with me.”

I laugh and shake my head. “I can’t. I’ll squash your lines.”

“They’re plastic; they’ll bounce back.” His face turns serious, and the desperation in his eyes claws at my resolve. “Get your sweet ass up here, Stones. I wanna hold my girl.”

It takes a little maneuvering with his central line and heart-rate monitor, and my IV, but eventually I settle in against his side and he wraps his good arm around me, holding me as tightly as his weak body will allow.

I wish we had the power to make time wait for us.

Sara Ney has become one of my favorite authors in the New Adult and Sports Romance genres. Her books are fun, snarky, cocky, oddly romantic, and emotionally charged. She captures the college sports enthusiasm as well as the free spirited sub-culture in the college academia world. After all , not every one goes to college for higher enlightment and the freshman fifteen expansion. Some go for the overall “experience”. Sara captures every aspect of college life while maintaining the individuality and personal vulnerabilities of each character. She lets the readers to become spectators in the magical experience of falling in love.

Jackson Jennings isn’t the typical jock on Jock Row. He is completely focused on his football career and his academics. He knows college and sports are his only chance to make a better future for himself. No partying, no alcohol, no girls, and no sex are his hard rules until he steals a grilled chicken sandwich from a smart, mouthed, sassy beautiful girl who isn’t afraid to hold those two extra burgers hostage. A little about Jordyn

For those who don’t know, Jordyn Preston is a nineteen-year-old Las Vegas native where she lives with her family and two golden retrievers. When she’s not kicking cancer’s ass, you’ll find her volunteering at her favorite dog training facility, creating art from copper or the stroke of a paintbrush. She also enjoys cooking and sewing.

In June 2015, Jordyn was diagnosed with a very rare liver cancer and received a full liver transplant on September 3, 2015. She remained cancer-free for almost two years, before being re-diagnosed in Aug 2017, one week into her senior year of high school.

Through cancer, Jordyn found a new love, speaking in public. She shares her story and scars in hopes of inspiring others. Jordyn also acts as an Ambassador for the Make A Wish Foundation.

With the help of Jordyn and her mom, Beverly Preston, we’ve been able to bring Jordyn’s Army to you.

Okay, y’all. Just yes. Meghan March and her not quite legit or above board alpha men are going to do me in every single time. You may have met Cannon Freeman in Meghan’s earlier books, but you haven’t seen him like this. And, true to form, we’ve got a heroine who can more than hold her own in her dealings with the boss man, and mesmerize him while doing so. Drew Carson is a woman on a mission, and she’s not stopping until she’s got all the answers. If only keeping away from Cannon was as easy… BLACK SHEEP has all the markings of Meghan’s best books, with characters that you’ll fall in love with right away, a tautly written plot that doesn’t let up, and, oh, yeah, plenty of those scenes. You know, the ones that make you wish you had a tall cool drink and a fan. But there’s more here than just insta-lust, and this is one book that you will not be able to put down. And, yes, yes she did. Catching Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the first book in the How To Catch An Alpha series. This delightful romance was sweet, romantic, and down to earth. It felt real and I could easily relate to every moment in this book. Aurora sprinkles the book with her easy going delivery while creating a very alpha man and sassy independent woman. While their feelings for one another are extremely intense, they are also very heartwarming.

Tyler and Leah were the perfect couple because they never let the world tear them apart. Between their crazy pets, meddling families, and a stalker kind of bad guy who tries to destroy their relationship, nothing is getting in their way.

I always feel good when I read a book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. Catching Him was another layer of delicious icing in Aurora’s delectable bookshop!
